The javelin screamed in the air and flew straight at the Crimson Hood.

The mummy's yellow eyes shined brighter. The javelin stopped in mid-air for a brief of a second, allowing the Crimson Hood to jump away. His chest felt the utmost pain with every single movement.

'What is that? Time power? No. It shouldn't be. Probably a freezing power or some kind.' Crow thought to himself.

He opened his palm. The javelin turned back to its spear form and flew to Crow's hand.

The mummy attacked again. This time it roared loudly. Two more spots on the ground turned into sand. Two rotten undead emerged from the ground with a little bit of bandages on their bodies. They looked like a weaker version of the mummy.

"I should hurry up. Extending this fight would just kill that cultist."

Crow turned invisible to the naked eyes.

The Crimson Hood didn't even look at him anymore and ran with all his might. His chest ached excruciatingly.

"Invisibility?! You're gonna be kidding me! That's a Hazard level spell!"

Crow turned visible briefly and cut down the head of the mummy. Then he disappeared again.

The Crimson Hood took out a small black device. He pressed a small button on it.

"Help! Help! We're being ambushed by another order! They're…"

Before the Crimson Hood could describe what Crow looked like. The fedora Abomination appeared and cut down his hand. Crow then slapped the Crimson Hood's head with the side of the spear, knocking him out cold.

"Crimson 77! What is happening?! Report now!"

Crow crushed onto the black device with his boots, cutting the connection.

Over at Mater, one cultist was a little bit slow and ate the entire Nether Sphere to the face. He did not survive for long.

The other caster kept running but was caught by Mater's Chains of Shadow. He fell down to the ground only to see the deadly purpose sphere flying to his face. He also died.

The only survivor was the hooded warrior. His hand trembled and tried its best to hang onto the sword.

"You! You?! Don't come near me!" The man gathered all of his courage to shout.

"So loud."

The black cat flew closer and blew the warrior's head off with his Desperation Scream.

The black cat stood on its hind legs and dusted off its front paws.

"Alright. Gather every corpse here."

These Red Keepers were a great source of Chaos. Even though they only had the Chaos amount equaled to a level 1 wraith. But there's a lot of them.

Fifteen corpses with one Crimson Hood. Mater only wanted to learn more about the Red Keepers before he consumed the Crimson Hood so he ordered Crow to keep him alive.

"Just do your thing, Crow. I want to learn as much as possible." Mater meowed.

"You can count on me, Master!" Crow bowed. He dragged the unconscious Crimson Hood to a bush.

Selina approached the group from the hiding place.

"That was…"

'Oh shit! I forgot Selina was watching! I hope she won't find this too gruesome.' The cat covered its mouth and looked around.

"That was fantastic, Mr. Mater!" Selina's eyes lit up. You, Aurora, and Crow were all so cool! I want to be as powerful as you!"

Selina picked up the black cat and spun around in excitement.

"Hehe. You really are my woman! The average girl would have been scared to death!" The cat purred.

Selina had seen him fight before. But that was with a wraith. Fighting humans was different. She didn't seem to have any problem with it though.

'Come to think of it. Selina did also see Aurora kill a guy in Marlon's house.'

Aurora collected all the corpses at a line for Mater.

The black cat then turned to Selina. "Are you sure you want to look at this?"

"I want to see this badass shit! I'm not a child, Mr. Mater! I already know you eat those people or someone!"

"Ugh… Not really. But you're very close. Observe, woman!"

The cat opened its mouth, sucking all the Chaos out of the cultists. Their bodies slowly withered away and the only thing left was ash.

Chaos Spheres popped up around Mater's heart. One sphere. Two spheres. Three spheres…

15 cultists provided 45 Chaos Spheres.

Selina placed her palms around her cheeks and was shocked beyond imagination.

The black cat licked its mouth and rubbed its belly. "Now this! This is a feast!"

"I have infused 3,850 kilometers of blood vessels. There are only 1,150 kilometers left. That's 23 Chaos Spheres. I have more than enough spheres and even some to spare."

The cat floated to the air and stood straight up.

"My Chaos Circuit is within my reach. I will no longer need to be afraid about running out of Chaos anymore.

I AM UNSTOPPABLE! I AM DARKNESS! I AM MATER EVOL HERACY!

MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

The delusional black cat laughed endlessly. Its hideous and maniacal laugh echoed through the empty woods.

A few squirrels shivered and ran into their dens, looking outside with a scared expression.

Birds flew away. They didn't dare to get near the source of the laugh.

His laugh travelled so far that a few cars on the highway a few kilometers away heard it faintly.

"Who is watching a horror movie this loud?"

Aurora grinned widely. Her smile was also incredibly evil.

Crow walked out from the bush. He had just finished interrogating the Crimson Hood and had to see the glory of his master. The Abomination opened his arms wide to bathe in his darkness.

Selina's eyes stayed fixed on the black cat with the deepest admiration. That was the cat she hugged every night in her bed.

Mater slowly lowered himself and landed back on the ground. His entire body shivered lightly because of the good feeling.

"Well. That's enough of a villainous act for today."

The black cat then turned back to Crow. "What did you learn, Crow?"

The Abomination kneeled before him.

"I have learned more about the Red Keepers, Master. The location of one of their outposts. Also a few details about how they operate internally."

"You got everything?"

"Yes, Master. He is useless now."

"Good. Drag him outside."

Mater then jumped onto the Dark Grimoire. He flew closer to Selina and grabbed her hand.

"My queen. Chaos Tentacles and Chaos Flesh are child play. Let me show you the true extent of Chaos.

Let me teach you how to devour another being and take from them… THEIR POWER!"
