Hearing Ye Yùwǎn's words, Lu Lu was stunned for a moment and said in surprise, "So that's the son-in-law who joined your family, really so LOW."

"Yu Wan? What are you doing here?" Jiang Chen parked his electric bike and was walking towards the company when he saw Ye Yùwǎn at the entrance and was momentarily surprised.

"I'm here for the interview," Ye Yùwǎn said, looking at Jiang Chen with confusion. "What about you? Are you here for an interview too?"

Jiang Chen opened his mouth but eventually just nodded: "Yeah!"

"Oh, hurry up and go in, don't waste your time talking to someone who lives off women!" Lu Lu looked at Jiang Chen with disdain and urged.

Ye Yùwǎn frowned, glanced at Lu Lu, and then turned to Jiang Chen: "Let's go in together."

"Okay!" Jiang Chen nodded.

Aside from Ye Jingyi, Yu Wan's cousin was the person Jiang Chen liked the most in the Ye Family. He had decided to accompany her to the interview to see if he could be of any help.

"You can go in together, but don't say you know us. I don't want people to think I associate with a son-in-law who married into the family," Lu Lu said with contempt.

"Lu Lu," Ye Yùwǎn scolded with an unhappy glance.

Jiang Chen just smiled slightly: "It's fine, let's go in."

Know you? I don't even want to associate with you.

The three of them walked into Sihai Entertainment together, and as soon as they entered, a receptionist greeted them: "Hello, how can I help you?"

"We're here for an interview," Ye Yùwǎn spoke softly.

"Oh, please follow me this way," the receptionist gestured with her hand to a corridor on the side, leading the three to the entrance of a room with a paper sign that read "Audition Room."

At the door of the audition room, several young men and women were already waiting. Seeing Ye Yùwǎn and the others approach, the men's eyes lit up and then they directed hostile glances at Jiang Chen.

It's so tasteless for two beautiful women to be accompanied by such a shabby-looking guy.

Jiang Chen ignored the others, sitting down on a bench beside Ye Yùwǎn and Lu Lu.

"Liu Lulu." After a while, a voice called out from the audition room—it was Liu Lulu's turn.

Lu Lu stood up and said to Ye Yùwǎn, "I'll go in first."

"Good luck!" Ye Yùwǎn cheered for Lu Lu.

Lu Lu walked to the door of the audition room, pulled down her already low-cut neckline a bit, then hiked up her short skirt before entering the audition room.

Jiang Chen saw this and turned his head to look at Ye Yùwǎn.

Ye Yùwǎn was wearing a long dress, with the hem falling below her knees.

Jiang Chen nodded slightly; Ye Yùwǎn was a girl with self-respect, but that Liu Lulu really wasn't that great.

Once Lu Lu entered the audition room, she glanced at the interviewers inside.

The interviewers were a young man and a middle-aged man.

Seeing that both were men, Lu Lu let out a sigh of relief, gave a slight smile to the two interviewers, closed the door, and sat across from them, her legs slightly apart.

The two interviewers looked up at Lu Lu, and their eyes widened in an instant.

"Hello, my name is Liu Lulu, I am 21 years old," Liu Lulu introduced herself with a slight smile.

The interviewers regained their composure; the middle-aged man coughed and asked seriously: "What position are you applying for?"

"I want to be a trainee," Liu Lulu cast a coquettish glance at the two interviewers.

The young interviewer spoke with a meaningful look: "You want to be a trainee, huh! That requires certain talents. What talents do you have?"

Liu Lulu's eyes glinted, and she said with a light laugh, "I have many talents. How about we go to the hotel tonight and I perform for the two of you?"

The two interviewers' eyes brightened, they exchanged looks, and nodded subtly.

"Alright, you've passed the preliminary round. Whether you can move on to the callbacks will depend on your talent performance tonight," the middle-aged man said, staring intently at Lulu's fair complexion.

Liu Lulu gave a slight smile, "Rest assured."

After throwing another coquettish glance at the interviewers, Liu Lulu stood up and walked towards the door.

"Hey, call the next one in, Yè Yùwǎn," the young interviewer said, coming back to his senses, and hurriedly spoke up.

"Okay yo."

Liu Lulu replied in a sweet voice, opened the door, and walked out.

"How did it go?" Yè Yùwǎn saw Liu Lulu come out and quickly asked with concern.

Liu Lulu replied with arrogance, "Of course I passed. I told you, with my looks, how could I not pass? I'm going to be a big star."

"Really? That's amazing, you passed the interview so quickly!" Yè Yùwǎn exclaimed in astonishment.

Liu Lulu patted Yè Yùwǎn on the shoulder, "You can do it too. But you shouldn't have worn a long dress today; you should have worn a short one. But no matter, be proactive, and you'll pass. We'll perform our talents together tonight."

"Tonight? Aren't we supposed to perform now?" Yè Yùwǎn was taken aback and asked in confusion.

Jiang Chen frowned slightly and looked meaningfully at Liu Lulu.

"Oh, you'll know once you go in!" Liu Lulu gave Yè Yùwǎn a push.

Yè Yùwǎn entered the interview room, slightly bewildered.

Jiang Chen's expression grew serious, and he listened with an ear cocked. With his sharp hearing, he could hear clearly even through the door.

Upon entering the interview room, Yè Yùwǎn covered her chest with one hand and bowed to the two interviewers.

Seeing Yè Yùwǎn, the interviewers' eyes lit up again; they exchanged a glance, thinking to themselves that she was even prettier than the previous one.

"Good day, interviewers. My name is Yè Yùwǎn." After her bow, Yè Yùwǎn said somewhat nervously.

"Don't be nervous, come sit." The middle-aged interviewer wore a warm smile and gestured towards the seat opposite him.

"Thank you." Yè Yùwǎn thanked them and walked over to sit down, crossing her legs with her long dress draped over them, effectively shielding any revealing view and leaving only a glimpse of her calf, as white as a lotus root.

The interviewers' eyes flashed with a hint of disappointment.

The young interviewer's eyes flicked, and he said with a light laugh, "Yè Yùwǎn, judging by your situation, you're here for the trainee audition, right? Do you have any talents?"

"I can sing," Yè Yùwǎn nodded and said softly.

The middle-aged interviewer said with a meaningful tone, "Singing, huh! That... Every auditionee can sing. Do you have any other talents? Or... something that needs a special demonstration tonight?"

"Talents? Tonight?" Yè Yùwǎn paused, puzzled, "Sorry, I don't have any talents that need to be demonstrated tonight."

The two interviewers exchanged glances, their disappointment turning to glee.

"Looks like we've got a naive little bird here!" the young interviewer whispered into the ear of the middle-aged interviewer.

"That's even better," the middle-aged interviewer nodded, then signaled to the young interviewer with a look.

The young interviewer understood and promptly stood up to go to the door.

Yè Yùwǎn, puzzled and confused, didn't understand their intentions and turned her head to look.
