Jiang Chen scanned the weapon storage briefly. It was a corridor nearly ten meters long, with three rooms on each side.

"I was captured! Qianqian and I both graduated with master's degrees in biology. They wanted me to help them extract biological genes, so they took me!" Li Jing pouted and glared at Jiang Chen discontentedly.

"I see!" Jiang Chen nodded lightly, withdrew the Blood Saber from Li Jing's neck, and inserted it back into the cane, saying indifferently, "Then you should know the entrance to the underground research base, right?"

"Why should I tell you!" Li Jing touched the fresh blood on her neck and glared at Jiang Chen fiercely.

Where the three of them stood was in the restroom right inside the entrance of the weapon storage—the women's restroom!

What Li Jing opened was a toilet. She pushed down the flush button and didn't let go, then she pulled off the toilet lid altogether.

Attached to the toilet lid was a wire. As the wire was pulled to its limit, the entire toilet slid towards the wall, revealing a hole about half a person tall in the wall. The toilet slid in, exposing a dark hole with an iron ladder next to it for hand support.

"If someone used this toilet, wouldn't that be..." Jiang Chen glanced at the hole, an image flashing in his mind.

Li Jing gave Jiang Chen a disdainful look and said irritably, "Didn't you see there's no toilet paper here? And there are only three women here. There are four toilets; as long as the three of us know about this entrance, it's fine if we don't use this one!"

"Oh!" Jiang Chen responded, a pondering look in his eyes.

Upon hearing Jiang Chen's words, a hint of something different flashed in Li Jing's eyes as she looked at him with deep significance.

Jiang Chen seemed unaware as he watched Vermilion Bird descend.

"Safe." After a while, a quiet call came up.

Jiang Chen glanced at Li Jing and gestured towards the passageway, "You first!"

"If you say I should go, then I'll go, what kind of man are you, making two girls climb down first, it's not manly!" Li Jing muttered with a pout and began to make her way down.

Jiang Chen looked at Li Jing, narrowing his eyes slightly and the corners of his mouth curled into a cold smirk.

"Dragon King, come on down!" The faint call came once more.

Jiang Chen glanced below and leaped down decisively.

"Hope you fall to your death!" Li Jing glared at Jiang Chen, who had jumped down beside her, and casually pressed the flush button on a nearby toilet.

Rumble rumble rumble—

The toilet above slid out from the wall again, sealing the exit!

Jiang Chen looked around with an odd expression and said, "The designer here is a pervert, right? Got nothing better to do than to make a woman's restroom into an entrance and exit?"

The place where Jiang Chen and his companions were was, in fact, a women's restroom on the underground level.

"How do you know this is a women's restroom? Why couldn't it be a men's restroom?" Li Jing stared at Jiang Chen unconvinced.

As Jiang Chen walked out of the cubicle, he whispered, "Because there are no urinals."

Li Jing paused for a moment, glanced at the smooth wall opposite the cubicle, and pouted.

Vermilion Bird smiled slightly and took Li Jing by the arm out of the cubicle.

Jiang Chen, about to reach the door, abruptly stopped and moved to hide behind the wall, waving his hands at Vermilion Bird and the others.

Vermilion Bird immediately caught on and pulled Li Jing to stand flush against the wall.

"What's going on?" Li Jing asked with a puzzled face, a sharp light flickering in the depths of her eyes.

"Shut up!" Jiang Chen glared at Li Jing and stared intently at the restroom's entrance.

Li Jing's face changed, and she glared angrily at Jiang Chen. Just as she was about to say something, Vermilion Bird covered her mouth and gestured for her to be silent.

Click clack click clack!

The sound of high heels grew closer and closer; holding his breath, Jiang Chen raised the thick staff in his hand. He could sense that the newcomer was a Heavenly Level Grandmaster at the peak.

The door opened, first revealing a delicate, fair hand gripping the doorknob, followed by a flawless leg, tresses of mischievous long hair, and then an exquisite face.
