As Jiang Chen passed by the greenery where Xi'er and the others were hiding, he didn't stop, but instead leapt over it directly.

Inside the greenery, Xi'er and the others were all ready to strike.

Jiang Chen emitted a strong and dominant presence along the way, and with such proximity, the auras of Xi'er and his companions were completely overshadowed by Jiang Chen's. Si Ta'er didn't notice anything amiss and thought to leap over the greenery just like Jiang Chen had!

Suddenly, five strong auras burst forth. Xi'er, Bu Langshi, Ha'er, Fa'erxi, and Fa'er quickly rushed out of the greenery and ferociously attacked Si Ta'er.

Si Ta'er's expression drastically changed; he hurriedly dodged with swift moves, but it was too sudden, and he was still struck by the attacks from Xi'er, Bu Langshi, and Ha'er.

Si Ta'er spat out a mouthful of fresh blood and his body was sent flying backward.

Following closely behind, Lao Laisi and Kali Si hurriedly reached out to catch Si Ta'er, their expressions wary as they watched Xi'er and the others.

"Mengchi Xi'er?! You're from the Holy Court?" Si Ta'er recognized Xi'er and immediately roared furiously.

"Make way!" A thunderous shout rang out, and the old man in the lab coat surged forward.

Si Ta'er and the others hastened to clear a path.

"Mr. Bo'ersi, they are from the Holy Court, they are the ones who sabotaged your experiment!" Ka Lasi quickly shot a glance, raised his hand and pointed at Xi'er and the group, shouting accusatorily.

"Bastards! I'll kill you all!" The old man in the lab coat, Bo'ersi, bellowed with rage and sent his hand towards Xi'er and the others with a swift motion.

Hum hum hum!

The space trembled, and a pale green gigantic hand appeared in mid-air, instantly reaching in front of Xi'er and his party.

Sensing the might contained within the palm, Xi'er and the others turned serious. They all channeled their inner qi, emitting a bright white glow from their bodies, and pushed out their palms to meet the green giant hand.

Boom!

A tremendous roar sounded, and the five of Xi'er were sent flying backwards, their faces turning pale as they looked at Bo'ersi with eyes full of terror.

Swish swish swish!

The other four Gene Warriors arrived, glanced at Bo'ersi, and turned their attention uniformly to Xi'er and his party.

"You go after that kid, I want him skinned alive!" Bo'ersi's gaze was icy as he looked at Xi'er and the others, shouting with fury.

"Yes!"

The four Gene Warriors answered in unison and leapt towards the direction where Jiang Chen had disappeared, while Si Ta'er and the other two exchanged glances, their figures moved to chase in that direction too.

Hum hum hum!

Three powerful auras suddenly appeared again. Yan Hu, Li Wuji, and Zhang Wushang, their faces concealed with inner qi, burst out of the greenery and attacked the four Gene Warriors with ferocity.

Si Ta'er and his companions' expressions changed as they hurriedly halted their advance.

The four Gene Warriors also changed color, hastily attempting to counter the attacks.

Boom boom!

Loud booms erupted as two of the Semi Venerable-rank warriors among the four Gene Warriors were instantly turned into dust, carrying flashes of green light that scattered with the wind.

The two slightly stronger warriors who had reached the mid-phase of the Semi-Venerable Realm suffered severe wounds; one had his left arm severed, while the other had a huge hole in his chest, with flecks of green light twinkling around the break and the orifice.

"Do you people from the Dark Church only watch the show? Kill them!" Bo'ersi bellowed and charged towards Xi'er's party of five.

Xi'er and the four companions were suddenly at a loss and had no choice but to confront him together.

The strike they had just experienced made it clear to them the gap between Bo'ersi and themselves. Even when united, they were repelled; missing even one would likely have left them stranded here.

Thus, once Bo'ersi took action, all five had to step up to meet him.

Upon hearing the shout, Si Ta'er and the other two charged toward Yan Hu's trio.

The battleground was instantly divided into two fronts: one where Bo'ersi was battling five Semi-Venerables from the Holy Court alone, and the other where Si Ta'er's trio and the two mid-phase Semi-Venerable Gene Warriors were besieging Yan Hu's three.

Both fronts found themselves at a disadvantage almost immediately.

"Jiang..." Fa'er, seeing the tide of battle entirely against them, opened his mouth to shout.

"Shut up!" Ha'er snapped fiercely, giving Fa'er a severe glare during the brief lull in the battle.

Before they had infiltrated, Jiang Chen and others like Ha'er had agreed not to reveal their identities. If they did, Wu Yati's arrangements would collapse. As a result, Jiang Chen and his comrades had covered their faces before engaging.

"Mr. Ha'er, he might have run away!" Fa'er said urgently.

"Impossible!" Ha'er glanced at the nearby greenery with a hint of confusion in his eyes.

Hidden among that foliage, Jiang Chen kept emanating a presence, though he controlled it with precision, constantly circling around the two Gene Warriors without alerting anyone. It was only when Fa'er had almost shouted that he quickly touched Ha'er.

"To think there is such a flaw?" Jiang Chen's eyes lit up, the Blood Saber in his hand gleaming as his face was once again shrouded in a bloody mist.

"Everyone be careful! That guy who killed Kali Nina has appeared again!" Si Ta'er's complexion changed, and he shouted a warning.

Ka Lasi and Lao Laisi both had a sudden change in expression and quickly reduced their offensive by a third, becoming vigilant of their surroundings.

Bo'ersi and the other two Gene Warriors furrowed their brows, their eyes darting left and right as they too reined in their attacks.

The pressure on Ha'er, Yan Hu, and the others eased slightly.

"Is this constantly putting pressure on them? But such tactics are utterly futile! The gap between our fighting powers is too vast!" Xi'er's eyes flashed with doubt as he frowned deeply.

Bang Bang Bang!

After blocking another assault from Bo'ersi, Ha'er said in a heavy tone, "No, the actions he took just now were inexplicable. There must be a purpose to them!"

Xi'er and Bu Langshi's eyes lit up with realization; they both had investigated Jiang Chen before heading to meet the Flame Dragon and knew he was someone who often performed miracles, which made them look forward with anticipation.

Suddenly, a loud shout erupted and a powerful aura burst forth as a figure, radiating Bloody Radiance, sprang from the greenery and swung his saber at Si Ta'er.

Feeling Jiang Chen's aura, Si Ta'er was taken aback and quickly retreated while shouting, "He is in the late phase of the Semi-Venerable Realm, be careful!"

Ka Lasi and Lao Laisi had already begun to draw back when they felt Jiang Chen's surge of qi, but Yan Hu's trio suddenly attacked, ensnaring Ka Lasi's group of four.

Sensing the fierce murderous intent, Ka Lasi and his companion hastily retreated.

Yan Hu and his two compatriots stopped worrying about the two Gene Warriors and wildly entangled Ka Lasi and his ally.
