The gates were large and looked like they would be very heavy, but actually they were very light. As soon as one of the teachers just lightly pushed the doors, it opened immediately. The inside of the palace was very well decorated and very well lit. The outside of the palace was black but the inside was pristine white.

This gap in colour actually made the palace a bit creepy. It looked like a beast that could devour everyone. But still the teachers entered this place as it looked like the final destination of this floor. As they went a bit further in, they saw a board with something written on it. The language used was an ancient script. One of the teachers who was well versed in such things judged this language to be at least more than 5000 years old.

"Beware! This place is the final trial of this Great Dungeon. If you're the chosen one, you will leave this place satisfied. But if you're not the chosen one then you will gain nothing significant.

But as all of you have come so far then leaving with nothing will be very sad, so take these magic items as your prize and leave this place. Only go further in if you're confident but they could not take anything from here."

That was written on the board. After seeing it none of them gave it much importance and went further in. One of the students tried to sneakily take one of the magic items but as soon as he crossed the board with the magic item he suddenly burst into blood smoke. He was the first student to die in the expedition. Two other students who also had taken items from there quickly returned them. But still they were hit by thunder as a penalty.

Elena didn't try to save them as that student as he was responsible for his own death.

After that the students became even quieter. The teachers were also very silent. The death of a student was not easy to handle for even the teachers. But they had to soon leave this incident behind as several B and A rank spirits and golems started to attack them. But as the numbers of the enemy were always on the lower side and as Elena was with them, these monsters were not able to create much trouble for them.

Soon they reached a large empty area. That area was as large as a stadium but that place was completely empty except having a large altar-like structure in the middle. The walls surrounding this place had statues of several demonic entities. The teachers also felt as if those statues were actually alive and were looking at them.

No one wanted to go close to the altar as everyone had an uneasy feeling toward it. So Elena asked for everyone's opinion on what they should do now. Astin was the first one to speak up -

"I believe some of us go close to that altar-like structure. I can see that something is written on it but for some reason we can't read them even with strengthened eyesight. But I believe if we get a bit closer we might be able to read what is written on it."

After thinking about this opinion most of the teachers found no problems in it and they supported it. So Elena also agreed with it and chose three teachers with outstanding fleeing ability and herself to go close to the altar.

As the teachers were getting closer and closer to the altar the uneasy feeling in their heart was growing. Soon they found themselves right in front of the altar. Elena read written text on the altar aloud -

"Bring young talents less than 18 years old  on this altar. If they are talented enough 5 of them will get great fortunes."

On the opposite side, what written was -

"Bring outstanding educators over 35 here when the young talents are ready to receive the fortunes. If they are good enough all of them will also get great fortunes."

They went back and told others about what was written there. So the teachers decided to judge the students they brought one by one of whether they were eligible or not. There were five spots for both students and teachers. Some teachers who were less than 35 years old were depressed as they would not be able to even participate in the test.

The test started with the students of Riplanica Higher Institution going first. But only one of their students was chosen. It was a boy named Katil Jons.

Next to go up for the test were students of Sky Parade Academy. They had the highest number of students but they didn't do any better than Riplanica Higher Institution. Only one of their 25 students were chosen. It was a girl named Shi Yuechan. The result was the same for the University of Sousion and only a single student was eligible from their side too. His name was Toth and he was the best genius that the university had since their founding.

Elena didn't send all of her students like the other organisations. She only sent Fiona, Rondo, Uoni, Shuri and Colette. Among them Rondo, Uoni were not eligible but Fiona, Shuri and Colette were. It astonished all the other organisations. From the altar's judgement so far they became sure that the altar had very high requirements for the talent. Only the most outstanding students from their organisations were chosen but the Myrilia Royal Academy had three of such talents. They were envious too. Some teachers were even impressed by Elena's eye of talent she chose only 5 students to take the test and 3 among them were successful. They never thought that some among other remaining students might also be eligible here.

The Riplanica Higher Institution used their trick this time. They said that they were willing to give up their student's spot if they allowed their teachers to be the first ones to be tested for the educator's reward.

After seriously thinking about it for some time other teachers agreed to the proposal of the Riplanica Higher Institution.

As they are the hosts and the dungeon was in their area of influence, they were sure to get one spot. And Elena had the highest achievement in this expedition. Without her presence it would be questionable if the expedition team could even reach this point. And after seeing her strength, they absolutely didn't want to antagonise her.

So it was sure that either Sky Parade Academy or University of Sousion would lose a spot here normally. But they didn't want that to happen. And for the teachers, they were sure after reading the script that all their teachers above 35 would get a chance to prove themselves. So they did not mind giving the first spots to Riplanica Higher Institution much.

So; Colette, Yuechan, Shuri, Katil and Fiona stood on the podiums encrypted with several complex magic circles.
