After Elena and Leonhart were able to gather the three easiest items, they tried to gather a slightly harder one next. Their next destination was the great lake at the edge of the distinct divine realm.

This lake was very large and none of the previous emperors had tried to find the end of the lake. They came here to search for the Sea Overturning Tortoise but it was definitely going to be a back breaking work as the lake was truly very large.

They could not just search the lake blindly as that would take a lot of time. And if they were not able to finish collecting the items within a month then they would fail the mission. So, they needed to make a plan.

A Sea Overturning Tortoise was truly large and it liked to submerge its whole body underwater. So, it could definitely not stay in the shallower part of the lake.

Other than that, a Sea Overturning Tortoise was herbivores and did not like to line close to other fishes. So any part of the lake where many fishes liked to gather was also out of the question.

Like this, after confirming a Sea Overturning Tortoise's habits, Elena and Leonhart were able to narrow down their search area quite a lot. Elena did not use any of her abilities here, as the searching part while analysing the Tortoise's habits was a very fun activity for her.

But still they were quite lucky. Actually Leonhart was quite lucky as Elena was making the effect of her super high luck to be null as to not affect the fun parts too much. But as Leonhart was quite lucky this time, they were able to find a Sea Overturning Tortoise at the second location they checked.

Leonhart's summoned divine turtle and he himself were very ill suited to underwater battle. So even tho the tortoise was not a very high leveled being at only level 310, Leonhart and his turtle were still having problems to defeat it.

Elena helped them out quite a bit by casting a spell called "Water Serenity" on them as that gave them a very comfortable time even inside water. She also stopped the Sea Overturning Tortoise's most potent ability to control the water around itself to create tides and tsunamis.

But even then it was quite hard for Leonhart and his turtle to deal damage to the tortoise as the tortoise had a very hard defence and even with Elena's spell, water was still surrounding them. So Elena helped them a bit more with some thunder spells that dealt quite a lot of damage to it and Leonhart was able to deal the final blow by surrounding himself with the lightning.

That was how they were able to gather the Sea Overturning Tortoise's heart which was the fourth item that they needed.

The next three items were going to be the toughest ones to to find as a Azure Thundeflame Eagle, Heaven Traversing Rat and Trimodevi did not have any preference to build their habitat. Those beasts and monsters could leave anywhere and most of them did not even like to live in the same place for a long time. So searching for them was going to be extremely hard.

As Elena and Leonhart both had no idea where their next target might live, Elena suggested a plan. She gave Leonhart a magic item which could maintain a two way conversation with each other for a long amount of time. Then they were going to go to search toward each others opposite direction to cover as much ground as possible in the minimum amount of time.

As soon anyone would find one of their target, he or she would inform the other one and would activated the special mechanism of the magic tool that would allow the other one to track the location of their partner. This should speed up their searching process quite a lot.

As soon as they were done with the planning, they kicked into action. Elena went to the north and Leonhart to the south. After about 2 hours, it was Leonhart who was able to found one of their targets. But when Elena reached to him, he shook his head disappointedly and told Elena that, even tho he managed to see a Heaven Traversing Rat, it run away soon afterwards and he lost sight of it. Then both of them again went back to the search.

Now both of their luck was quite bad as they did not manage to find any of the targets for 3 whole days. As both Elena and Leonhart were high level individuals and did not need much sleep, they went without it for past few days but now Leonhart was getting tired so they decided to rest for a day before beginning the search once more.

In their rest time, both Leonhart and Elena talked with each other quite a lot. It was actually Leonhart who talked most and Elena was mostly listening. Since her birth, Elena had always been a good listener and everyone had mentioned that they felt light and free after talking to her.

She was like this even when she was on earth and just like her ability to understand if someone was a friend or a foe, this was an innate ability that Elena had even before the destruction of EARTH. So, Leonhart too was affected by this phenomenon and he told Elena about his past, including some embarrassing memories.

Leonhart was not born in the direct line of the royal lionkin clan. His father was one of the forty eight sons of the previous Emperor and he was a prodigal prince. He wasted his life away in gambling and brothels.

Even though he was like that, he was still a prince. So, he was engaged with another lionkin from a minor clan. And that female lionkin named Rueul was Leonhart's mother.

After his birth, Leonhart was not acknowledged as the member of the royal lionkin clan, as his father was kicked out from the royal line just before his birth for raping a young catkin. And after just two years since Leonhart's birth, he passed away from a disease named Somasia, which happened because of excessive drinking.

But that was like a blessing in disguise for Leonhart and his mother as his gambler and drunkard father liked to get violent with his mother after getting kicked out and losing the support of the royal family.

Leonhart was born with great talents and those talents started to bloom since his childhood. He was better than even many of his older cousins and even the royal family was forced to take notice of his due to his talents.

But his incredible talent brought misfortune for his family. Some of the royal heirs got scared of his potential and decided to get rid of him. So to do that, they sent assassins to kill him. The young 12 years old Leonhart was attacked by more than 10 assassins but was able to kill all of them using his innate ability even tho he was on the verge of death after that.

But his mother was not as lucky and she died in that incident. On that day, Leonhart was forced to run away from the capital as he would have died if he stayed there. But he also vowed to take revenge that day.

Later he found out that, his grandfather, the emperor knew about the incident but did not do anything even after he had promised to take care of his mother when he invited Leonhart to rejoin the royal clan. So he added him to his list of members on whom he was planning to take revenge on.

Then he left the country itself and went to a different beast kingdom and became an adventurer there. Even tho Leonhart did not tell Elena about it but he met with the fragmented soul of Saliol while living in the Elitanti Beast kingdom and his growth speed increased even more after that.

When she reached the threshold to become an S ranker, he returned to the Gaim Empire and started to gather followers. With his incredible strength at the peak of A rank and charisma, he was able to easily gather loyal followers. Obviously the royal family tried to kill him many times but failed each and every time as he was too strong.

At that time a S rank monster suddenly started to attack some cities of the empire and the old S rank Emperor failed to kill it. At that time young Leonhart used a special item to temporarily boost his combat prowess to the S rank and was able to kill the slightly injured S rank monster.
