Elena and Leonhart both entered the tower, but Elena alone was invited to a guest room to rest as a helper could only help the emperor in collecting the items outside the tower. All the trials that were inside needed the emperor himself to face it head on. And the helper would receive royal treatment inside the tower for the rest of the time that the emperor would spend challenging the tower.

Normally the helper could not peek at the emperor's trial but obviously it was different for Elena and she just started relaxing and watching Leonhart's trial like a TV show.

After entering the first trial, Leonhart found himself in the middle of a large Colosseum. The voice of the tower once more some up -

"While Emperor Leonhart to the first trial that will measure your combat capabilities. You'll face 10 rounds of enemy and each round will be tougher than the previous round. You're not allowed to use your summoned divine beast for this trial. To pass the trial clearing 3 rounds is a must. The more rounds you can clear, the better score you will get. If you can clear all ten rounds you will get a perfect clear. Best of Luck."

After that the challenge started and the first opponent appeared for Leonhart. It was not a single opponent but was a group of midnight wolves. They were all between level 270 and level 290 so they should not be much of a challenge for a S ranker but their numbers were high and especially their team work was insanely good.

But still Leonhart was able to beat those beasts easily as he was still overwhelmingly stronger than the wolves and he was able to clear the first round quite easily. Then in the second round he came face to face with a Berserk Goblin Champion.

It was one of the rare few goblin species that could reach the S rank, even tho barely. And the Berserk Goblin Champion that came out had already reached the pinnacle of its growth potential and was at level 301. Again as Leonhart was quite stronger than the Berserk Goblin Champion, he was able to get another victory quite easily.

The third challenge he faced was against a Four Winged Blade Eagle and just as its name mentioned it was an eagle with four blade-like wings. It was a level 310 beast that was quite fast. It had very sharp attacks which were able to penetrate Leonhart's defense. So this fight was a bit harder than the last one but still he was able to win easily.

And with this victory Leonhart had now officially cleared the first stage of the tower. Even if he lost in the next round, he would still be able to take on the next stage. And he would also be recognised as the true emperor even tho the reward he will get would be insignificant.

At the fourth round the difficulty suddenly increased by a notch. His next opponent was a level 325 Tyrant Rampaging Bear and it was one of the strongest beasts when it came to strength. Leonhart had a satisfactory brawl with it and he came out as the victor.

The fifth round was even tougher and Leonhart had to fight level 330 Scarlet Ringed Sanke and even tho he won this battle fastest, he got poisoned by the life poison of this snake that it released just before dying and his combat strength lowered quite a bit due to the effect of this poison. So even tho he won the fifth round very quickly, his probability to win the next round dropped by quite a bit.

His sixth opponent was a level 335 Wisdom Stone Ape and it was a very troublesome opponent. This beast was very intelligent and even tho it was not able to deal much damage on Leonhart, he needed more than  half a day to defeat it. So, in the meantime the poison was able to affect Leonhart more perfectly and his fighting capability dropped even more because of it.

Finally Leonhart faced his seventh opponent. It was a large deer with crystal antlers. It was over 15 meters tall and had the capability to do magical attacks. It was a level 340 beast so its level was not very far from Leonhart's own.

So this fight was the hardest one for his so far. As the Crystal Deer was an expert at throwing spells from afar and was very alert at maintaining a good amount of distance from Leonhart, he had a really tough time defeating it. And to pour salt at his wounds, just before it died, it used a wood magic spell that made the poison more active.

But after defeating the seventh opponent, Leonhart was able to become the tied number one in the Gaim Empire. Only two more Emperors were able to reach this stage before him and nobody had managed to clear the eighth round.

The opponent he faced off in the eighth round was humongous. It was over 40 meters tall and was made of ancient looking rocks. Yes, it was a super giant Rock Golem. Seeing this Leonhart found a chance to win this match as the Rock Golem was really very slow. So Leonhart could dodge all of its attacks and if he could land strong hits on it continuously then he might be able to win.

The plan was good and all, but the defence and vitality of this golem was off the charts. Leonhart had to beat the golem up continuously while dodging all its attacks for over 15 hours before he could win. And even tho he won and became the number one in the history of the Gaim Empire, after the battle Leonhart was looking like a beggar and not an Emperor. And he was not able to even fight in the ninth round as he was not in any condition to even walk let alone fight. So Leonhart's journey in the first stage ended after he completed the eighth round which was the best score among all the emperor. So he did very well.

After taking rest for a whole day and getting healed perfectly by the miraculous divine power of the tower, Leonhart finally went to challenge the second stage of the trial. As soon as ascended the stairs to the second stage he found himself in the middle of a warzone.

He was a general of the beastkin army leading them to fight against several demons of the Dyeguinin continent. The condition of the army that he was leading was not very good and his mission was to change the situation of the battle and win this war.

All the stages of the tower were used to judge the capability of an emperor. The first stage judged the combat capability of the emperor and the second stage was going to judge Leonhart's leadership capabilities. If he wanted to win this illusory war then he was to show his talents as the great leader of the battlefields. The tower would give a score to Leonhart after the end of the quest depending on his performance.

Once again winning the war was not the clearing condition of this floor. He just needed to take down one of the great fortresses of the demons to clear this round. But if he wanted to get a good score then he needed to win the whole war.

In the meantime while Leonhart was busy clearing the stages of the tower, Elena was getting a bit bored. It's not like she did not enjoy the fights that Leonhart had, but to be honest they were very low level fights for her.

She only really enjoyed watching fights when those fights would be able to allow her to learn something new. That did not mean that she only enjoyed high level fights. The fight of a low level person could also become impressive depending on the situation. But the fights in the Colosseum were not happening in a great situation and were not actually fighting for survival so they did not manage to impress Elena too much.

In her boredom she decided to visit her mini world to see how the creation of its continent was going on. The first place that she visited was the workshop of the Anomalous Beings. After getting fresh ideas from the PSYGER world they were all very excited to invent and create new things. Elena was planning to use those scientific advances to finally utilise a very important Genesis grade item, and that was the "Machine Heart" which was the Genesis grade item that Elena got from her home planet of EARTH.

But before she could do that, Shelly, who was a very talented and passionate Anomalous Being took Elena to show off her newest invention and after seeing it, Elena also became very excited which was very rare. The reason for her excitement was because, Shelly was able to create, more like recreate the first ever games of Elena's mini world and Elena became excited to see games after not seeing them for a very long time.

And that was how Elena was able to find her love for the games once again.
