The Pheonix Palace was really quite strong so the guards who were in charge of protecting it were also quite powerful. On the other hand, the members of big families all had strong bodyguards with them. So the power balance between the two sides looked quite similar.

But it was not advantageous for the Phoenix Palace to completely fall out with all those large families as they were important sources of income for them. But giving up while getting provoked would hurt the prestige of the Palace so they could not give up so easily.

That was why the situation was getting more heated up. At that time a sudden clap sounded on the first floor. Do you all think it is wise to offend a reputable organisation for no other reason but because you all were getting a bit self conscious. Do you know what others will think if they hear about the situation ? They will think that you all are worthless as men as you can't even make a lady interested in yourself. That's way more shameful in my opinion.

And these ladies are all quite talented in many fields and they all are hardworkers. Even if they were not talented, you all do not have the right to hurt or insult them. That just shows your uncultured side. Do you all want the whole world to remember you as an uncultured brute ? I hope not."

The things that Su Yun said were not quite simple but it was able to directly hit the nobles where their weakness was. So most of them apologised to be the owner of the establishment and went back to their seats. Only a few snorted and left it in rage. So from what those ladies were saying, the girl who was getting scolded was named Han Zhoumin and she was very proficient in poetry and other literature. But her beauty was average and for a prostitute that was the most important asset. For that reason even though she was born in the inner part, she was kicked out to the outer part of the red light district.

Su Yun's handsome man aura was too awesome for these women to ignore and all of them instantly agreed to his proposal. They quickly took him to the best private room and set up a banquet in record time. Su Yun was sitting behind a table filled with delicacies and was waiting for Han Zhoumin to start her performance.

She did perform very well but soon the customer whom she was serving started to give her various questions to solve. This gentleman named Su Yun turned out to be a great scholar who was very well versed in all kinds of literature. Actually for Elena it was child's play to gather the knowledge about all the literatures of many nations, so she was able to become a great scholar in seconds.

Elena was quite impressed by Han Zhoumin's capability. She did have the right to exclaim herself as an expert in the poetry field. Not only did she know many poems, she was also quite good at creating original ones. But her lack of looks would always haunt her and she would not be able to realise her full potential in the red light district.

Elena noticed that, she was not only good in the field of literature but she was also quite intelligent. So she would be able to handle many administrative duties. Elena was planning to buy a few more properties in this city and this time she was targeting the properties which would mainly be for commercial purposes. And she could help her to manage those properties.

So after Elena was content with eating and enjoying herself, she asked the owner of the "Intoxicating Fragrance House" to meet her. After meeting she expressed her wish to buy out Han Zhoumin.

Most of the prostitutes working in the red light district were private properties of the owner of the brothel so they had the right to sell those girls. The prostitutes were treated a bit better than the slaves but they did not have any control over their own fate. So they were quite pitiful.

Elena offered quite a lot of money and also assured the owner old lady that she would take good care of her. The old lady who was the owner of the establishment was very fond of the talented girl so assuring her that Han Zhoumin would be alright was very important.

As she was moved by Su Yun's sincerity and happy that someone else also recognised Han Zhoumin's talent, she happily agreed to Elena's offer.

And just like that Elena was able to get her hands on another very talented person.
