The next day, Elena and Lin Yan left the inn after eating their breakfast and got ready to enter the Night Owl county. Lin Yan saw that the residents of the city were very agitated and nervous but he did not think much about it and went towards the gates of the city.

Lin Yan felt that the security of the city was very tight today for some reason. Some sect disciples were checking everyone in front of the gates. A few other sect disciples were searching for something or someone throughout the whole city.

Lin Yan got nervous by this situation as he had killed five sect disciples yesterday and Elena mentioned that he did not do a good job of hiding that. So it was very possible that those sect disciples murder was revealed. But then Elena suddenly patted her head and he heard a voice in his mind -

"Don't worry about it. As your teacher I have a duty to solve any troubles for you. I have already made sure that everyone believes that the reason for those disciples death is an accident and nothing more. But as you were the only person they interacted with before dying they probably want to still catch you. So I had changed both of our faces temporarily to avoid trouble."

"But master, you don't look different at all for me though."

They did not stop even after crossing the border as the day was still young and managed to reach a large town just before sunset. This town was called Nine Ring City and it was one of the production hubs for a large sect called the "Hell's Paradise".

This town was filled with weapon refiners and it was also located very close to a Scarlet Copper mine. Scarlet Copper was a magic metal that could be used for creating low and mid level spirit armament (magic items for the rest of the world). So it was considered to be a valuable asset.

Elena had given Lin Yan an axe as his weapon and that axe would grow up together with him. But that axe was already very strong so Elena was thinking of giving him a weaker weapon that could match his level. She only wanted him to use the overpowered axe in a life and death situation. So Elena decided to spend the next day in this city to buy him another weaker axe.

After entering the city they booked the most expensive inn of the city and had a satisfying dinner. Then Lin Yan quickly fell asleep. Riding the super fast Gale Wolves was not an easy thing to do, so Lin Yan was very tired after riding it for a whole day. After seeing that Lin Yan was sleeping peacefully Elena also went to the land of the dreams.

The next morning Elena notified Lin Yan that they were going to stay in the city for a day and she was going to give him a weaker weapon to use that would match his level. Lin Yan had no problems with it as even he felt that Nepseidon was a little bit too strong.

First they had their breakfast and Elena tasted a local delicacy named Mang-pickachu. It had a sweet and bitter taste and Elena did not like it that much but Lin Yan enjoyed eating it. Then they left the inn to search for a good axe-like weapon.

In the nations under the influence of high goddess Tiandi, axes were very uncommon. Most of the martial artists and immortal cultivators either used blade type or polearm type weapons so, finding an axe was very hard.

Actually it was even harder than they had expected, Elena and Lin Yan were unable to find even a single axe in more than 50 weapon shops in the city. So they had to directly contact the smithy where weapons were forged.

Elena demonstrated her immense wealth in one of the largest weapon shops, so the shop owner was very much willing to take Elena to the smithy. There was only a single super large smithy in this city. That smithy was under the jurisdiction of the Hell's Paradise sect but they still sold weapons to outsiders for a high amount of money.

After reaching the smithy Elena wanted to contact the best weapon smith to make a weapon for Lin Yan but unfortunately the best weapon smith was busy with a special assignment from the sect headquarters and could not take a job. So Elena contacted the second best weapon smith for the job.

She allowed Lin Yan to describe how he wanted his axe to be. Basically its design was very similar to the Nepseidon as that was a weapon Elena created to match Lin Yan perfectly. The weapon smith's name was Kin Wusang and he accepted the work and told that he would need two days to finish the job. So Elena and Lin Yan had to stay in this city for two more days.

After leaving the smithy Elena and Lin Yan did not go to any other place in the city. They decided to do the sightseeing tomorrow. After really fighting those sect disciples, Lin Yan became very excited about training more and was trying to practice whenever he had some time in hand.

Elena was happy to see his so motivated and accompany him during the training while giving him advice. She knew that over training is not good for a person but the amount of training Lin Yan was doing currently was within Elena's accepted range. So she did not stop him.

After spending the whole day in training and a bit of strategy practice, both of them had an early dinner. After his realising his mistakes from the previous incident, Lin Yan asked Elena to teach him how he could avoid making such a mistake again. So for that Elena started to make him do the strategy practice where he had to get out of various tricky situations using his intelligence.

After doing this for a few times, he got super interested in it and asked Elena for more and more situations. Elena then had a great idea and using magic she created a virtual simulator where Lin Yan could play this game by experiencing it for real.

So Lin Yan became addicted to it and got scolded by Elena when he did not stop playing this game even after it was late night.

The next morning, both Elena and Lin Yan left the inn after an early morning breakfast. Today they were going to visit the city properly like a tourist.

Even though this city was just a place to create weapons for the Hell's Paradise sect, it still had several notable places for the tourists. The most notable place was the weapon museum where some of the best weapons that were ever created in this city were collected after the owner's death. Lin Yan really enjoyed looking at various great weapons.

Elena was actually quite bored by this display, those weapons were at best of average quality in her eyes. And the reason they were here in the museum was because their users died while using those. But if Lin Yan was happy then it was fine. This child deserved all the happiness of the world after working so very hard.

Other than that museum, there was a garden and a lake close to the city. And those were the only places where a tourist could enjoy. As the number of places were not high, they were done visiting all the spots even before lunchtime.

Then when Elena asked if Lin Yan wanted to just walk around the town with her, he refused by saying that he wanted to play the strategy virtual simulator game. As he had not played in since the morning, Elena gave him permission but told him to play for not more than 2 hours. Then she left the inn to have a leisurely walk through the town.

While Elena was leisurely walking around the town, he came across an open market. This market was also mostly selling various weapons, but those weapons were not from the smithy and were also damaged in most cases.

Just like a common plot of a novel, between those damaged and low tier weapons there were actually some good weapons too. But as Elena was not a weak protagonist who needed to buy those weapons for a low price, she did not buy any for them.
