The outer part of the ruins was a desolate city. This city was super large with its size being equivalent to a planet. But most of the structures of the city were already destroyed and only a very few were standing till now.

This portion of the ruins were almost completely excavated and there were not much dangers to be found. The true hard part of this ruins would begin after Elena would go to the second layer of the ruins.

Yes, this whole place was divided into 9 layers. The outermost layer was the largest one but was also the poorest one of them all. And the last 1st layer was the smallest but also the most luxurious one among all the layers.

Elena needed to reach the core of the 1st layer in order to find the remains of the Royal Rihona. She also had not used any of her OP abilities to find the perfect path to that place, so at first she needed to find the gate to the second layer.

There were several gates that led to the second layer. Elena found one of those and went down to that layer. But unfortunately, the door she chose was one of the most damaged ones and she found the path ahead to be broken. So she had to come back the same way to find another gate.

Luckily for Elena, the next gate was fine and she was able to reach the second layer. This layer looked like an underground bunker or a secret base. But Elena could see that this layer had also been thoroughly searched so she did not have much places left to inspect.

As she was thinking that, she found a hole going downwards in a corner. Even though she believed that this hole must also have been checked before by other explorers, she still decided to check it out.

Astonishingly, this hole was an unexplored one as this place was covered by a gadget that could block all types of detection devices. But after the world's will died, the gadget which ran utilising the mystical aspect of science also became useless and the hole became visible.

Elena was very excited by this discovery and quickly set everything up to explore the hole. As currently she was restricted as an almost normal mortal human, she did not have the ability to fly or perform any superhuman acts. For that reason she needed to make many safety precautions if she wanted to explore this hole without cheating.

First of all, she tied herself to a sturdy rope and used a device that could lower her slowly into the hole. She then tied the different end of the role to a pillar that she checked and found out to be quite sturdy. Then she finally slowly but steadily lowered herself into the hole.

That hole was quite deep and with the pace at which Elena was going down, she needed close to 15 to 20 minutes to finally reach the bottom. There she found herself in the middle of a warehouse.

There were raws of shelves attached to the wall and all of them had packed medicines inside. Unfortunately most of the medicines had lost their effect with the passage of time. But after searching the whole place, Elena was still able to recover three intact medicines. All three of them also had lost quite a bit of their effectiveness, but they were still not completely ruined. It was amazing to see medicines that could truly last for millions of years.

Then Elena left the room using the gadget which pulled the rope up and continued her exploration.

She was able to find two more such holes in the second layer and excitedly explored both of them. First one among them was a miss, as that place was used as a food storage and obviously after so many years, all the foods were already ruined.

On the other hand, the second hole brought her to a storehouse for dresses. That place was very well preserved and almost all of the dresses were quite intact. Even though those dresses were not the most valuable things one could find in this ruin, they could still be a valuable source to study the history of the ancient civilization. So even those dresses were quite precious.

Other than those three holes, she did not find any other places in the second layer. There was a high chance that Elena had just missed some places as she was not using her detection abilities, but with the power level of a normal human she could not do anything more than this.

She could have taken her time to search the second layer thoroughly but she did not want to spend too much time here and left for the next layer.

The third later was almost like a new world. It was also built like an underground bunker but the whole place was very well decorated unlike the previous layer which was monotonous and boring.

All the walls had intricate carvings and designs on them and most of them recounted the stories of the ancient civilization. It was fascinating to find that an scientifically advanced civilization like this had also left behind wall pictures like uncivilized humans. This was quite interesting.

Most of the wall pictures were still in a good shape, at least good enough to understand their meaning and Elena took her sweet time to observe them. She was not a big fan of visiting history museums but doing so once in a while was fine.

As the wall paintings were done using super modern technology, they were very well made. Seeing those pictures Elena could easily imagine all the events that were depicted here. Even though Elena was busy with observing all the wall paintings, she did not forget her primary purpose of searching for treasures.

Her efforts were successful as she was able to find a hidden door which had also just recently become visible. Behind that door she found a grand library. Elena was so happy that she almost laughed out loud. This was definitely one of if not the best finding one could get in this ruin.

Elena did not waste her time reading the books in the library and kept all of them inside her item box. This was one essential device that all the explorers used to store their findings. She would read those books after returning back to RASHTROYNI.

That was not the only great find Elena had in the third layer. She also found a hidden mechanism and almost died because of it. But that mechanism also took her to a place where she found a LOT of jewels.

But the hardest part of that little venture was getting out of that room full of jewels. As the hidden mechanism accidentally threw her here, she was unable to go back the normal way. So Elena had to make some calculations about which side would take her to the proper route and after calculating it she used a pickaxe type essential equipment to find her way out of the secret room.

Fortunately Elena had a lot of experience in getting stuck in hidden rooms so her calculations were perfect and she was able to get back to the correct route. But while finding the correct route, she wasted close to a whole day.

So after getting out of the secret room, Elena quickly left for the next layer without searching the third layer anymore. She was happy with her gains in this layer and did not want to spend too much time here as she had six more layers to search. So she quickly went to the fourth layer to continue her exploration.

The fourth layer was not as grandiose looking as the third layer but the material used in the creation of this later was quite a lot better than the material used for the third layer.

Not only that but special circuits were embedded in the whole layer which gave this place almost an impenetrable detection ability. But with the passage of time the circuit had been broken in a few places and had become useless without anyone monitoring it.

But the presence of the circuit gave Elena a special chance to use the circuit to search for hidden places on this floor. She had the ability to do so even with the restrictions because she had done something similar before in a dungeon. So she did not waste any time and immediately went to work.

She found many hidden rooms on the fourth floor but discovered that all of them had already been searched. She secretly deduced using her ability that one person had already used the circuit to find all the hidden rooms using the same process that Elena used.

So, Elena was unable to find anything significant in the fourth layer and went down to the fifth layer with disappointment.
