At the start of the battle, it looked like Bushiki and Cristina would be able to hold the horse monster off for an hour without any problem. But after 10 minutes passed the horse monster suddenly changed its approach and started to fight more seriously.

If at first it was fighting with 20 percent motivation, then currently it was fighting with 100 percent. It was shooting bolts after bolts of black lighting toward Cristina while kicking Bushiki non-stop. Bushiki tried to fight back by using her weapons to attack the legs of this monster but even all out attacks by her were able to deal a minimal amount of damage and even those damages healed soon afterwards.

Elena was creating many dungeons in her mini world for her subordinates to train. And this horned horse monster was the boss of one such dungeon. So, Elena gave it many abilities that a person might hate to have on a boss level opponent. Like auto healing, attacking everyone equally without targeting a specific person, both short and long range high damage dealing capability etc.

So, all in all this monster was really incredibly tough. But Bushiki and Cristina were not known as the absolutes for nothing. Their combat sense was better than most and their adaptability in battle was astonishing. When Elena was at the peak of level 999 and if she did not use the genesis grade items and some of her unique ability then even she would have a hard time fighting Bushiki and Cristina together. That's just how powerful they actually were.

So they easily managed to cross the 30 minute mark with just having a slightly harder time but nothing too serious. Then once more the horned horse monster changed its tactics once again.

This time a red aura appeared around it and even its eyes turned red. The transparent crystal-like horn turned purple and started to release electricity wantonly. The fur around the monster grew and its size also increased by about 20 percent. After this transformation, the overall strength of the monster almost doubled. Which was not a good news for Bushiki and Cristina.

Coincidentally enough, the duration of this skill was also exactly 30 minutes, so the goddesses could not just wait for the skill to end either. Surviving against this monster for 30 minutes after its strength almost doubled was impossible without some special plans.

At that moment Bushiki's combat instincts flared up and she sent a mental message to Cristina -

"Help me stall for 5, no 3 minutes, then I can at least block this monster for 10 minutes alone. You can use that time to set up your combination concept magic and can trap this monster. I think that is the only way for us to last for 30 more minutes."

After thinking about this for just a moment, Cristina immediately agreed and came close to Bushiki in order to protect her for three minutes. Now as she was close to Bushiki, the monster can focus solely on her that increased the pressure on Cristina by a huge amount.

Cristina was determined to completely follow through Bushiki's plan, so he used all the mana she had and only preserving enough to cast her combination magic. But even with she doing her best, she still got badly injured, she Cristina was really not good at fighting in close quarters. But physical wounds would not hinder her magic casting capability so she did not mind the wounds and focused solely on blocking the monster for 3 minutes.

When the three minutes was over, Cristina felt an overwhelming aura rising behind her. It was so prominent that even the monster got a bit worried about this aura and tried to attack the source of the aura behind Cristina.

But Cristina was determined to do whatever she could to allow Bushiki to complete her preparation so she blocked the monster with all her might and even lost her right arm and right leg to it. But he sacrifice was worthwhile as soon a super empowered Bushiki took Cristina's place and started to protect her.

Bushiki had used a skill to focus all her weapon proficiency into a single type of weapon and in turn she got as strong as a person who had gone through limit break for 10 minutes or so. And as soon as Bushiki took her place, Cristina started to prepare her combinational concept grand magic.

Cristina could use the Space, Gravity and Time concept magic. The combinational imprisonment spell that she was trying to use used all the three of the concepts to create a cage that would be hard to break for anyone.

Normally Cristina liked to use the space concept as the main pillar and then used the time and gravity concept to empower the space concept to create the cage. She could cast this spell in 5 minutes or so.

But the monster they were facing also had good control over the space concept, so using the previously mentioned spell would not be a good idea. So Cristina decided to use the time concept as the main pillar to construct the spell and that doing so would take a much longer time, about 8 to 10 minutes.

Bushiki did her best to fight the monster to a stalemate. She currently had the strength of a limit breaker but still she was a little bit weaker compared to the monster. After utilising its buff, the monster had become quite powerful and Bushiki was not having an easier time holding it back alone.

They needed to trap this monster in the imprisonment spell that Cristina was going to cast. And the weaker and more wounded this monster would be at the moment when the spell took effect, the better their chances would be to successfully trap it. So Bushiki was trying her hardest to also deal as much damage as possible to the monster.

Cristina was able to finish the construction of the spell after 8 minutes or so with her doing her best. Then she informed Bushiki that she was ready to cast anytime and told her to get ready to dodge.

As soon as Bushiki heard that the spell was ready, she went all out without caring about any wounds. She only had less than two minutes remaining of her boosted form so wanted to do as much damage as possible in these last moments.

Soon, when the duration of the boost was over, Bushiki jumped back immediately and almost fell unconscious. Her whole body was bruised and almost all her bones were broken due to that monster's kicks. And at that exact moment, Cristina activated the imprisonment spell.

That spell worked perfectly and the monster was trapped in a cage which was present in a different timeline altogether. It tried to break the cage, but was unable to as its understanding in the field of the concept of time was not good enough. And that's how the plan that Bushiki came up with in a spar of a moment was implemented successfully.

But the plan did not go completely perfectly. When there was only 2 minutes left for one hour to pass, the monster suddenly neighed loudly and its whole body turned crimson, including its fur, horn, hooves everything. Then it started to attack the cage like a madman and this time its attacks were successful. Soon the cage was filled with cracks and was on the verge of breaking.

Seeing that Cristina quickly tried to mend the broken parts, but her efforts were useless. The beast broke through the cage after just 30 seconds and attacked both of the goddesses like a lunatic.

Even the Supreme Goddesses who thought that the struggle was over became tensed by the sudden power gain of the monster. They were very much worried for Bushiki and Cristina for obvious reasons. They were in their worst condition right now and have almost no chance to block even one of that monster's attacks.

These list 1 minute and 30 seconds felt like the longest one minute and thirty seconds to Bushiki and Cristina. As the absolutes among the high gods, they had never been insulted or humiliated. But today, currently they were crawling on the ground like a pathetic insect to save their lives.

As a warrior Bushiki felt like it would be better for her to die rather than became so pathetic. So she mastered the last of her courage and stood back up to face the monster head on.

She might have been able to save her life till the time was up by crawling in the mud, but that was not something her pride would allow her to do. Even if she could not become a limit breaker and die while facing this beast, she would not regret it at all. Because that's what the Goddess of Myriad Weapons was.

The same was true for Cristina. As the Goddess of Profound Magic, she could not allow herself to be humiliated by a lowly monster. So she decided to do what she could do the best, she decided to cast magic, using her own life force. And as soon as that happened Bushiki and Cristina disappeared from the battle ground and a sweetly smiling Elena said -

"Congratulations. Both of you passed the test with flying colours."
