The group of disciples belonging to the Emerald Palace sect left the location of the trial grounds the next day. All of them boarded the flying ship once more to make the journey back.

It was quite a successful expedition as many students were able to gather a decent amount of treasure of good quality. Not only that but fortunately they did not come to blows with the Sky Parade Academy for anything, which was another great thing.

While boarding the flying ship many disciples noticed something odd. And that was their sect's young master Kuang Zenshi. Normally he would already be acting like his normal arrogant self and would insult everyone left and right. But today he seemed to be reserved and even a bit fearful of something.

That was definitely an abnormal situation and the other elders tried to ask him if he was facing any problems but young master Kuang refused to say anything. Other than him, one another person was acting weirdly and that was elder Shun Feng. He seemed to have some kind of mental breakdown for some reason and was in an agitated state of mind. His current mental state was not suitable to be close to any other person, so for that reason, he was told to stay in a room by other elders for the duration of this journey.

Even though something weird like this happened, their journey back was still very safe. For the entire duration of the journey, Elena and her other elder sisters spent their time by either discussing about cultivation or by gossiping about various topics.

The current hot topic among the disciples was the sudden change in the young sect master and elder Shun. As they were talking about this incident, suddenly Suddenly Taoluan thought of something and asked -

"Now that I think about it, junier sister Lu didn't you have a fight with the elder Shun and the young sect master ?"

"It was not serious enough to call a fight but yes, we did have some disagreement between us."

Even though both young master Kuang and elder Shun had some disagreement with Lu Kao but no one suspected that the person behind the changes of those two was actually her for obvious reasons. Elena also did the same and told elder Cao Ruyan everything. She even mentioned that she had rejected the young sect master's and elder Shun's offer to become the young sect master's servant. Cao Ruyan was very satisfied with Lu's performance. She was an intelligent girl but was also very hard working. So she elder Cao was extremely happy with Lu Kao.

The next day, Elena and her fellow senior sisters were called to elder Cao Ruyan's house to let them know about the result. Elder Cao was not completely satisfied with what compensations were given to her disciples, but the sect master and other higher ups were adamant about not giving anything anymore. So she had no other choice but to back down.

But still the rewards and compensation she managed to get were quite good. So all her disciples were satisfied with it and thanked their teachers for always supporting them. That knew that without their teachers support they would not be able to get anything from the sect. So they were very grateful to her.

Elena was currently finalizing her plans to leave the sect in a good note. She did not intend to just give the gifts and vanish. So she was creating a proper scenario where she would be able to leave the sect freely with the identity of Lu Kao intact. So she was not much interested in the rewards, as she planned to give those senior sisters better gifts anyways. Then all of them returned back to their residence.

Elena was given an offer to move to a better residence after she became a true personal disciple of an elder, but she was quite happy with the location of her current residence and the other available properties were not to her liking, so she decided to stay in the same place for the remaining few days.

She was planning to start playing her scenario after two or three more days and now she was just waiting patiently for that day to come.
