After leaving Cao Ruyan's place Elena went to meet her other friends to give them the gifts she had prepared for them.

The first person she went to was Lan Tuning. She had entered the sect alongside Lu Kao and was chosen by elder Cao Ruyan to be a potential personal disciple alongside her too. And even when Lu Kao was able to become a true personal disciple before her, she came and congratulated her like a true best friend.

After meeting with Lan Tuning, Elena did not explain her situation to her in great detail like she did with Cao Ruyan.
