Elena had many ways which could help them in increasing cooperation among each other, but all those methods needed time to show effect. For that reason, many of them would be useful in the current situation. So, Elena decided to do what was the most effective but also most dangerous method, which was to face life and death battles together.

So, after she was able to understand everyone's abilities properly, Elena teleported them once again and took them to a deserted island. This would be the venue for their next training.

After taking them to the island, Elena declared -

"On this island, all of you need to work together to survive and I will be the one hunting all of you down. Obviously I will restrict my level to be on your own. Other than me there are also other strong monsters and beasts on this island and all of you need to survive them too for 2 whole days. I will not be protecting your life in this training and I will also do my best to kill you all. So try to run away from me as if your lives depended on it. I will give all of you an hour to prepare."

Saying so, Elena immediately disappeared. And the participants quickly started to make plans to avoid her. But there was not much they could do. Even if she was restricting her levels, Elena would still be way stronger than all of them combined. Demigods were so respected for a reason.

After thinking about it a bit, they decided to use their abilities to create a walking fortress, which would help them in both defence and attacks. Falgaria had the perfect ability for this job.

She used her Rock Dominance ability to create the structure of a fort. Then Dainslek used his lightning magic to add enchantments to the fort. He also added cannon-like structures capable of shooting lightning spears.

Next it was Emilia's turn to add her enhancements to the fort. She was chosen to be the Archpriestess for her immense power and most of that was because of her unique inherent skill called "Myriad Flaming Flowers". This ability allowed her to create flames which looked like various kinds of flowers with various different abilities.

Some of them had simple abilities like having a stronger heat, and a few others had broken abilities like having an everlasting affinity. This skill allowed her to be very versatile and extremely dangerous. This ability was the reason why she was considered to be "The Strongest" before Eldriana's rise.

So, after Emilia used her agility on the fort, it suddenly became something like a flower fort. It was decorated with various kinds of colourful flowers with various different abilities. It started to look very beautiful but at the same time it was also very dangerous.

Eldriana was not very proficient in magic even though she had the affinity for it. And Estatet was a pure warrior and one of the rare few elves who were not born with magical affinity but instead had very powerful physical abilities. So those two were unable to contribute anything in making the fort stronger, but they would be at the frontline to stop Elena from physically destroying the fort.

That process looked long, but the five of them were able to finish everything in less than an hour. Then they entered the forest filled with extra large trees to hide from Elena. Very soon one hour was up and Elena started her hunt.

Currently, the five of the S rankers were busy facing the onslaught of about 20 S rank beasts. But with the help of the fort and two good frontliners they were making quick work of the beasts. The fort was acting as a moving artillery with very high firepower and also as a heavily armoured tank.

But while destroying the monsters, the S rankers were not cooperating at all. Dainslek was shooting his lightning spears toward any enemy he fancied. Falgaria was doing the same with her rock projectiles. Emilia was not targeting anything certain and was burning down anything that those two missed.

The only ones who were somewhat cooperating were the pair of frontliners, Eldriana and Estatet. They were having each other's back while trying to cover as many flaws as possible.

Elena who was watching all these was a little bit disappointed. Their performance together was even worse than what he had expected. So she decided to end this right then and there.

Elena immediately attacked them. As she had told, she was only using the stats of a regular initial S ranker. That was evident by the fact that everyone was able to see the moves she was making. But Elena perfectly targeted the weak points and very soon even a child would be able to understand how bad their cooperation actually was.

Within just 16 moves, Elena had already broken down the fort, killed Emilia and Dainslek, killed Estatet who came to help them and heavily injured Eldriana and Falgaria who was able to barely save her life by using the whole fortress as her shield. But soon they were also unable to fight back anymore and were also killed.

Obviously Elena did not really kill anyone. She just made them feel like they were actually killed and just made them faint. A truly strict instructor might actually have killed them but fortunately Elena was not that kind of the instructor.

But still it was not like she was a complete goody two shoes. She knew when she needed to be strict. So Elena made all the S rankers to sit in seiza after they woke up and gave them an hour long lecture as if they were little kids. Throughout the whole lecture they were unable to even lift their heads in shame.

Then again Elena did the same thing, but this time she said that no one was allowed to use any offensive or long distance magic. So, everyone needed to truly stay close to each other and slowly but surely the relationship between everyone started to improve. Even though they did extremely badly in previous training, they were still some of the rare S rankers, geniuses of the highest calibre.

As their cooperation between them increased, Elena started to lift their restrictions one by one. Just like that they were able to go back to their previous fighting style while still remembering the cooperation between each other.

After 3 days of training, all of them had become decently good at cooperating with one another. Then finally Elena started to give personalized training. Eldriana and Emilia were already making the best of their ability, so Elena just gave them some ideas to use their powers in a more versatile fashion and nothing else.

But for the others, she needed to come up with various ideas. Like Estatet needed to work on her habit to become too fixated on attacking while completely disregarding the defence. Falgaria was way too dependent on her bloodline skills, so much so that every single one of her abilities needed her bloodline. If she was somehow incapable of using her bloodline skill, Rock Dominance, then she would not be able to use any ability and would just be a sitting duck. Finally Dainslek was someone who just liked to win battles by overpowering his opponents with his powerful thunder magic. He did not look it, but actually he was quite muscle headed.

Just like that, in six days, Elena was somehow able to make them ready for the upcoming calamity. Very soon after their training ended, the calamity finally came into being. It was now time for the final battle.
