While going toward the ruins, the girls started to discuss their goals of the future. From what they heard from the explorer office, for each hundred level one would get qualified for a rank up. So for now Dalia wanted to reach a level above 300 to be qualified to become a rank 3 explorer. As for Eldriana, her goal was to try her martial arts out on various types of enemies and to make it more solid. So, with those intentions they were going to the ruins and Elena was just hanging around with them.

After reaching the ancient ruins, they found it to look like a bunch of dilapidated houses covered by a blue barrier. But after entering it they found the insides to be much larger than it looked from outside. From outside it looked like only 5 or 6 houses were in the ruins but actually this ruin was a large city with thousands of houses inside it.

Not only that but there was an oppressive atmosphere here. Even Eldriana felt like there was something at the centre of the village that she had no chance of defeating. From the office they got the information that to conquer the central part of the ruin, one needed to be a rank 4 explorer and that would mean there was something with the power of a demigod in the center of it.

But that did not have to worry about it as currently they only planned to search the outer perimeter of the ruins to get an idea about its dangers.

As they were walking on the streets, they encountered their first enemies. They were metal golems who looked like a large round ball with hands and legs attached to them. They were the weakest opponent one could find in this ruin and were at most equivalent to a level 120 powerhouse.

Dalia just cast a fire magic spell to destroy it easily. After that they started to encounter more and more of these golems. But no matter their numbers, all of them were destroyed by Dalia AOE fire magic spells very easily.

After some time they encounter a different type of golem. These were stone golems who were above 5 meter tall and looked quite bulky. Normally a stone golem would be weaker than a metal golem but for this ruin it was different. These stone golems were between level 240 and level 270 in terms of powers.

Dalia would not be able to defeat these golems as easily as she was defeating the metal ones but still she was very much capable of fighting against them. Especially because these golems were mostly solitary and did not group up, she was able to defeat them without much risk. Eldriana still did not need to take action as these golems were too weak for her to try her martial arts on.

Just as the girls were going to enter the area while sand golems with power level between 330 to 370 appeared, they saw a group of five elves getting chased by a 1 stone golem and several metal golems. Seeing this Dalia and Eldriana decided to help them. Dalia used her fire magic to destroy the metal golems and Eldriana destroyed the stone golem with a simple punch.

After getting saved by the two of them, those five elves were very grateful. Among them, two were male and the other three were female. Their levels were not very high and only one of them was above level 200. So it was almost impossible for them to take in a stone golem. They were also quite hurt from this encounter so Elena decided to heal them.

The class she had chosen for herself in this role playing was Runic Caster. She especially chose this class because this was a very versatile class and Elena would be able to perform most roles without creating any suspicion. Obviously a Runic Caster was capable of healing too.

Elena started to write down letters in the air with her magic power and after she was done making six letters, they combined and created a complete word and shine brightly. Then the wounds of the five adventurers started to head rapidly. This made them to exclaim in surprise and one of the girls muttered -

"Six Rune Combination master."

The ability of a Rune Caster was measured by the quality of their rune and the number of runes one person could combine to create a full word. And having the ability to combine six letters was extremely rare even among the rune users.

The current time was late afternoon and the evening was almost incoming. It was dangerous to stay in the ruins for the night so Elena and her team decided to go back. If they decided not to help the other explorers then Eldriana might have enough time to have a match with a sand golem but now it was too late for that and she decided to come early the next morning.

As the five other elves were also returning to the village, they all decided to go back together. They also wanted to thank Eldriana's group with a luxurious dinner for saving them. Elena, Eldriana and Dalia still needed to book an inn to stay as they were in a hurry to get an identification and they also did not have any money, so they were unable to book it beforehand.

But now after defeating several metal and rock golems they had managed to collect quite a few essence stones. They would not be enough for them to level up their rank in the explorer office but it was more than enough to get a good room and good food.

As the five group of five were living in this village for quite some time, they knew quite a lot about the village and Elena asked them for some recommendations about good inns. As this was not a particularly large village, there were only 3 inns in the whole area and among them they recommended an inn called Fae's Blessing as that place had the best food.

After returning back, they all went to the Explorer Office first to sell the essence stones there. This world did not use coins as money and instead used special gemstones. White gems were least valuable followed by blue, green, yellow, red, violet and black gemstones in increasing order of value. Black gems were incredibly valuable and extremely rare.

After selling all these essence stones the girls were able to get two and a half pieces of blue gem which was enough for them to leave in this village for a week or so. This gave them a good idea about the market prize here and also about the amount of money an explorer was capable of earning.

After getting their money, next the girls went to the Fae's Blessing with the team of five elves that they saved. After reaching the palace, first Elena booked a four person room as there were no rooms available for 3 people. Then all eight of the explorers started to eat and drink while enjoying themselves. Both Dalia and Eldriana took this chance to ask the ladies of the other party some questions and were able to get a decent amount of information from them.

The most important piece of information that managed to get was about the book repository which was equivalent to being this world's library. That place would be ideal for them to get all the normal information without being suspicious and luckily anyone could enter the book repository after paying a certain fee.

So, the next day, they were not going to enter the ruins and instead decided to visit the book repository to take a look.
