After parting ways with the ship Elena in her roleplay of Carmelia started to interrogate the bandits. She could have just read their mind but as currently she was role playing as Carmelia a Fighter Summoner, she did not want to use something that did not have access to with this build. So she just used normal interrogation methods by telling Echidna, her dear slime familiar to suffocate them.

The truth she learned from the pirates was very interesting. This was not just one pirate group but five gangs working together. The level 500 plus leader guy was actually not a pirate. He was a general of a nation who was exiled for being involved in some kind of crime. So to get new subordinates for himself he came to the pirate groups one by one and subjugated them with his superior strength. That's how this large group was created.

This guy was only powerful but also very cunning. He was also well versed in politics and manipulation. So using all that he soon joined forces with some of the local influential people and became the hidden overlord of this area. The reason why his name was unknown and no one knew about such a big pirate group was because he was manipulating information to stay hidden. He had quite a few troublesome enemies and he wanted to hide from them.

In the last few decades, he had looted many valuable ships and accumulated quite a large amount of wealth. He only targeted ships with valuable loots on it and whenever he attacked he attacked in full force and destroyed all evidence. He also sold the captured elves in a completely different region using a connection of his from his general days so the chances of his evils coming into light was very low. But unfortunately he was targeted by Elena.

After learning about all the information, Elena made all the bandits to faints. She was going to hand them over to the local authorities alongside the information about the corrupted people who were working with this pirate leader. She was also going to make sure that the people she was handling these bandits were not corrupted themselves.

But before that she needed to kill a total of 46 people. The royal numbers of pirates she had captured were four hundred and forty eight, so that was only ten 10 percent of them. She was only doing it for fun but these 46 people were extremely evil and should not exist anywhere in this world. As for others, even though they were also bad people, she was comfortable with them being judged by the ruling authorities.

Now, after the interrogation was over, it was finally time for the most exciting part and that was looting the treasures. As this group was created by merging five different pirate groups together, they had five bases. Not only that but they also had several more hidden and secret treasuries for emergencies. The leader of the pirates was a very cunning and cautious man so he never kept all his eggs in one basket.

So, first Carmelia went to the nearest city to hand over the pirates. It created a very big commotion as she brought over 400 people together. That was an insanely large number and obviously the guards of the city were not enough to handle that.

So, they called the head guard of the city who actually had the rights to make decisions on this matter. He was a rare volcanic elf with orange hair, dark skin and jacked physic. And he was extremely suspicious of Carmelia. Level 500 was a big deal and he knew all the people who were at that level, that was the reason why Carmelia sudden appearance surprised him.

But he was a sensible person and did not go too far with the interrogation. He knew that level 500 plus individuals were scary and he needed to be very cautious while dealing with them. So even though Elena did not have any identification, she was still treated properly and was welcomed inside the city.

Elena just wanted to go looting the bases of these pirates so as soon as she was able to hand them over, she left the city without entering. But she did get a hunter and an explorer identification cards. It was such a quick process because level 500 plus enjoyed several benefits.

As for her excuse for not having anything, she just said that he was trapped inside a ruin and lost them and she was able to get out of there using a random teleportation circle and appeared here. As absurd as that sounded it was actually a very good excuse and the guards mostly believed it too. It was also because in their eyes, someone as strong as Carmelia had no reason to lie about it.

After leaving the city she quickly visited all five bases of the previous pirate groups. But she was extremely disappointed as the amount of loot she was able to find there was nowhere near what a group like it should have. By this Elena understood that the leader was probably hoarding the lion's share of the loot. That actually lifted her spirits a bit as now she could expect good returns from the next bases that the boss himself was using.

The leader of the pirates had a total of nine bases. Five of them were outside a city, either inside some danger zone or forests. And the rest of the four were inside various cities. Elena first decided to search all the outside bases and left the city ones for the last.

After looting the first base Elena became very happy. Just as she expected the loot stored in this single place was greater than what she was able to gather after looting all the other five bases together. The second and the third bases were the same. But the fourth base was somewhat special. Instead of money and gems, what this place was storing was captured elves and beasts. They were all enslaved and were probably waiting to be sent to a different region.

Elena obviously saved all the captives including the beasts who were captured. This was also a place with guards who did not go for the raid and were actually present here. Elena knocked them all out and then took all the captives to the same city where he handed all the pirates over. It was a bit far away from where the slaves were kept, but carrying them was easier for her than to go through the time consuming process of introducing herself again with a large group of people in a new city.

This time it went over safely as the head guard was already acquainted with Carmelia. So she was able to safely hand the captives over. Elena did a little bit of cheating to judge this head guard's character and after seeing that he was a good guy, she was able to hand over her new fans to him with a relaxed mind.

Soon Elena was done with the last outside treasury and it was finally time for her to secretly infiltrate the treasuries present inside the cities. It was like a game to Elena and she was enjoying it.
