Even tho the Goddess of Frost finished her battle very quickly, same was not the case for her duo, another one of the elemental goddesses, the Goddess of Thunder, Thorenis.

She didn't used her elemental authority like Eludina to end the battle as soon as possible. Eludina had a very cold, calm and calculating personality, prioritising facts over emotions.

But Thorenis had a simple and honest personality and she always went with her emotions. That was also the reason why she didn't want to use her overpowered authority to beat the Slaughter Asura, instead wanted to use her ability as a warrior to win.

But she is also, like all other goddess, loyal toward the Supreme Goddesses. And as supreme goddess had ordered her to use her full strength to finish this battle because this is going to be the final one between the gods and the devils, she was very conflicted.

She wanted to finish this battle as soon as possible but also wanted to win only using her physical combat capability. She was distracted because of those thoughts and was in the back foot against the Slaughter Asura even tho she was slightly stronger than him.

To keep herself from showing anymore disgrace she created some distance between them to get her bearings back. As she was trying to concentrate suddenly a scene appeared in her mind. In that scene she could see a beautiful golden haired girl fighting against an Oni with six hands. That Oni looked very similar to Slaughter Asura but was actually stronger than him.

But the girl didn't back down against a strong opponent, she met the Oni's powerful strikes after strikes with her own and either deflected the attack or met it head on. She was a little bit weaker than the Oni but was actually dominating the battle. Her skills in barehanded combat was impeccable. Thorenis instantly became the girl's biggest fan.

Becoming the fan was not the main point of this scene. The main point was that, this scene was able to give Thorenis an enlightenment. She got the extra push she needed to surpass her previous mastery of Barehanded combat.

After getting the enlightenment, the more she fought against the Asura the more polished her skills became. The Asura was in a dilemma. At the beginning it looked like his opponent was not in good condition and he thought he would finally be able to beat this incorrigible but desirable woman and would be able to have his way with her before killing and eating her. But suddenly she became stronger and now he wasn't even able to keep up with her.

As the Asura feared, he wasn't able to make a comeback and was pushed to his limits. That time Thorenis shouted -

"You fucking bustard should be proud to die by my newly learnt move which the got from my esteemed Onee-sama recently. DIE <Nine-fold Impact Full-body Strikes>."

Then she closed the gap between them in lightning speed and aimed a right punch at his head which hit his shoulder, left chop at his chest, which was blocked by his legs, but then a sudden kick hit him right in the side of his head. But that was not all. Each of those attacks didn't just have one impact but nine, completely destroying his organs. And that final kick was able to finish him off destroying all three of his brains together.

The monster Elena was fighting in Thorenis' mind had the same physic as this monster and destroying the three brains at once was the easiest way to kill them and bypass their extremely annoying regeneration.

That is how Thorenis became a better warrior and as she was going to express her joy she got a mind message from Supreme Goddess Asteria to give assistance to some gods who were in trouble and she left hurriedly.

The God of War Slaughter, Mardok's opponent was the least intelligent but most durable among the Devil King's General, the Guard Fortress.

The Strategist of Demise's plan was to use the extreme defencive capability of the Guard Fortress to halt one of the strongest Combat specialist God, Mardok.

But, the devils had a wrong idea about Madrok's power. The devils had thought that he was a very strong one on one combatant but that was not really the case. It looked this way because he actually had always fought with all his might as an one on one fighter.

But actually his speciality was in group combat or war. He could summon an army of millions in seconds to work as his hands and feets. So, in one on one combat he was one of the weaker combat specialist gods.

He had never used his army against the Devil King's forces so far but today was the day he was going to introduce his mighty army to the devils.

He started the battle against the Guard Fortress alone fighting normally. But he understood very soon that if he fought by himself then it would be almost impossible for him to break this thing's defence quickly.

So he started his army summoning. First, he only summon about 1,000 soldiers and they started the siege on the Fortress.

But it looked like only 1,000 soldiers would not be enough so he summoned 9,000 more. But that would also take some time so he again summoned 90,000 more.

The Guard Fortress was in trouble against an 100,000 army. So, it used a special move {Pure Defence X Perfect Retire}. This move can create a special shield and the Guard Fortress can recover health by sacrificing his ability to move.

This was not a big cost for the Guard Fortress as his speed was already non-existent. This move was a very good counter again the 100,000 army but Mardok just laughed.

He was a believer of quantity over quality and overwhelming opponents with numbers. So he instantly summoned 9,900,000 more soldiers reaching an impressive total number of 10,000,000.

That was enough to overwhelm the Guard Fortress and tip the scale of victory toward Mardok.

As a last struggle, the Guard Fortress activated {Berserk's Rampage}. This was also a very suitable method for him as his intelligence was already minimal so losing it was not a big deal. But when this move was in effect, the Guard Fortress would lose his HP until he fell in a state of hibernation.

This last stand of the Guard Fortress was able to kill off about 5 million of Mardok's army, but that all. As long as he was alive he could summon his army as many time as he wants, so the loss was literally nothing to him.

The Guard Fortress was not able to stand up against the overwhelming violence of number and fell by it. But Mardok was not able to rest as, he soon got a Message to help another god who was in a bad condition. So, he cut his celebration with his army short and went to that god as help.
