Before leaving Melline had requested Elena to watch over everyone and to see how they were performing against the cunning merchants. And if it looked like the girls were going to be deceived, she needed to step up in order to stop that.

That was why Elena had to go with the team that was going out. Both Kaela and Crena were also going out. As the leader of this group of people Crena needed to be there with the girls and Kaela was there to support her. Datoka was obviously there as she was the main negotiator at this time and the remaining 7 girls were there just as a show of power.

The reason why the leader of the corporation was suddenly called for a meeting was because of the arrival of the ladies from the sacred villages. These ladies were one of the biggest customers that this city has ever seen and whenever they did business, that always worked with close to several million R.

As they brought many somewhat expensive items and also sold very rare and valuable items that could only be found in the sacred village, these ladies were very important to all the merchants. Even though the Foredune Alliance was their main business partner, it was not like the girls never did any business with other organisations.

So the Shinygold Corporation was wanting to make a connection with the ladies of the sacred village by doing business with them. They knew that their company would not be able to compete with the Foredune Alliance in the current time as the trust between the two parties was very high. But if the Shinygold Corporation was able to make even a minor connection by selling them something or by buying from them, in the future, they would have a chance to strengthen their relationship.

So in this meeting, all the bigshot merchants of the Corporation came together to discuss about the type of deal they would be proposing to the ladies and also about the benefits they were willing to give them to show their sincerity. It was already a done case that the corporation would be trying to get in the good books of the sacred village, the only thing that was left to finalize was the nature of the deal and the benefits.

One of the influential merchants named Gogin had brought his useless son in this high level meeting for him to gain some experience. He himself was a rich merchant and with a good head over his head and he knew that there was no loss in making connections with the ladies from the sacred village. So, he was hoping that his useless son would be able to learn something after participating in such a high level gathering.

After leaving the main building of the Shinygold Corporation, everyone returned home.
