After Elena left to confront the Dark Order, Ume and her just born baby were able to live in peace for about a week. Elena had prepared enough food and daily necessities for both of them so in that field they needed nothing. For that reason they were able to just stay in the house and avoided any kind of trouble. Or that's how it was supposed to be.

Three days after Elena left a certain group appeared in the city. They were a bunch of worthless people who were selling various kinds of spiritual products and were telling the common population that joining them would give them safety in these troubled times. Obviously those were worthless promises and these bunch were the first ones to run when any kind of trouble was about to hit the city.

But still many people believed in them and followed them somewhat blindly. It was actually a very common human nature that these scums were taking advantage of.

After getting a good reception from the people of the city, the members in charge of this organisation were way too excited to capitalise on their momentum and started to perform some miracles to make the citizens to believe that they were something special.

Among the miracles that they were performing, there was a certain item that was able to find out how many men a woman had been with. This item could not find anything out about anyone above level 100 so it was not a particularly valuable item as most nobles or even quite a good amount of commoners were above that level.

But unfortunately Ume was not one such person. She was not a fighter and had never even held a weapon. There were other ways for a person to gain levels but for the majority of her life, Ume had not been able to do anything seriously so she was still just at level 66. So this item was effective for her.

When she was a plaything for the bandits, she had no idea how many bandits had used her to relieve themselves. But today when this item was used in the area where her cozy house was located not only her but everyone in the city found out that number. It was an astonishingly high number of 165.

This created a commotion in the crowd and most of them speculated that she was some kind of prostitute who was trying to start a new life. It was not really a negative emotion as there can be various reasons why a girl needed to sell herself, especially in the current turbulent times.

But an explanation like that was not very interesting for the organisations who were trying to promote themselves. They wanted to use this opportunity to make a name for themselves. And as Ume looked to be alone and without anyone to support or stand out for her, she was judged to be an easy target for these people.

So they started to tell the people that Ume was a horny and promiscuous woman with no moral boundary and would spread her legs for anyone. They also announced to the whole city that she had destroyed many happy families by seducing the men and she was a sinner. It was not like everyone believed them but unfortunately this type of lies were something that many people liked to believe. So this way Ume's reputation hit rock bottom in the city.

But Ume did not mind it too much. She was obviously frustrated with how the citizens were treating her and how this group of people were working very hard to destroy her reputation but currently in Elena's absence she needed to not get involved with any kind of problems. So, she still just stayed inside her house and did nothing. And that was actually the correct decision.

That organisation was hoping for her to lash out and in that case they would have been able to put her down as an evil witch and that way their reputation would have increased. But as she did not follow their script, they became irritated and started to provoke her using many dirty means.

They encouraged their followers to talk dirty about her and to call her with insulting titles like "slut" and "whore". Not only that but they also send men to call out to her in broad daylight to come out and spread her legs for them. Even for Ume it was becoming too much to handle.

Ume was under a lot of pressure. On one hand Elena was late in returning back home and Ume was worried about her safety and on the other hand the harassment of the citizens was becoming more or more dangerous.

One day she was unable to take all this pressure anymore and lashed out toward some people who were not only insulting her but also her baby boy. That was too much for her, a mother to endure.

As if that organisation was waiting like hyenas for something like that to happen. They immediately took steps and this little thing became very major. Ume became an evil witch who was unable to endure the truth and tried to kill common people to silence them. Just the next day, a bunch of soldiers appeared in her house to arrest her with these charges.

Ume tried to resist but she was no match for the trained soldiers. Elena had given her a lot of items to protect herself and she was forced to use one of them. It immediately killed a soldier.

But Ume was too late. She had absolutely no experience in fights and she used the items too late. When she was able to make up her mind to use one of them, some of the soldiers had already entered the house and had taken her baby boy hostage. Seeing her killing one of the soldiers they used that to their advantage and disarmed her.

Then her Nightmare began once again from which Elena had once saved her. Those scummy soldiers gang raped her in front of the whole city and shouted that they were doing this to soothe the soul of their comrade who was killed by her evil plans.

That was not all, they also brutally killed her son in front of her and made her to watch it all the whole continuing raping her. Then she was made to walk around the city naked and with white liquid dripping down her nether region.

After that she was made into a cumdump for the men of the city to enjoy. Anyone was able to use her in any way they wanted with full freedom. Just like that, Ume was not able to take it anymore. Her new found life did not last long. A teardrop fell from her eyes and blasted open after touching the ground. Just like that, she breathed her last while still getting pounded roughly by a violent man and while everyone was calling her derogatory words.

All her life she had only known about pain and sadness. The little happiness she was able to find in a good friend's company did not last long. This was how an innocent girl departed the world never really finding true happiness.

This was the truth that Elena learnt that day.
