As soon as Archenite stepped on the stage she immediately started to explain the concept of her spell and started to cast it. The words she got were Scary, Blue and Desert. They were a bit mismatched but were not a hard combination for words for a high ranking mage. Actually there were quite a few other mages who had created new spells based on these words and showed them off. The most memorable one among them was a mage who had created a cold desert made of blue snow. There was a blizzard raging in the desert and that was extremely scary. Everyone had praised this spell quite a lot and were waiting to see if Archenite would be able to come up with something better or not.

As soon as Archenite started casting the spell, sand appeared and covered the whole arena to transform it into a desert. Everyone was taken aback by this display as the sand Archenite created was normal sand and was not blue in colour. That meant she was not going to create a cold desert. Now everyone was even more interested in knowing what kind of spell this would turn out to be.

After Archenite was done creating the desert, a ball of fire appeared in her hand. But the orange yellow coloured fire soon started to change colour and turned blue. Fire was the element that Archenite was best at controlling, so changing the colour of her fire was not a big deal to her.

Then that concentrated ball of blue fire was sent up by Archenite and started to shine like a real sun in the sky. The sand on the ground was illuminated by the blue light of the sun and turned blue. Actually the sun was so insanely hot that some part of the ground actually turned into glass by the extreme heat.

This was already a very scary situation and no one would blame Archenite if her had stopped here. But obviously as she was planning to challenge the S rankers who had fascinated everyone with their amazing performance, doing just this much was not enough for her to stand proudly on the same stage as them.

So to add the last finishing touch to her magic, she invoked a very hard to cast spell. It was a spell to create ghosts and spirits. Not everyone was even capable of casting this spell as one needed to have the required talent for it. Fortunately Archenite had that talent even though it was not very high.

Immediately figures of ghosts appeared in the desert and getting combined with the blue fire they took the form of will o wisp. Now this desert had truly turned into a haunted desert. Archenite even added a few tombstones to complete the scary vibe of it. With that the casting of her new spell "Desert of Death" was done. It was a very powerful spell and Archenite would even be able to use it as her signature spell just like the fallen sun.

Next it was Benshui's turn to show her magic. Her words were Night, Green and Animal which was an interesting combination of words. Quite a few mages had tried this combination too but there were no new spells that stood out to the audience.

Benshui started her spell casting with covering her surroundings in pitch black dark elemental mana. Then she used her specialised plant elemental mana to create a bright green tree. Then the tree started to absorb the dark mana and started to transform. First the colour of the tree changed to dark green and it started to look very sinister. But soon not only the colour of the tree but its shape also started to change.

After absorbing all the dark elemental mana, the tree had completely transformed into the shape of an ape. It was about 10 meters tall and had thick burly arms. Its skin was pitch black in colour with green veins running on it and there were a few green dots like stars decorating its body.

Obviously this spell was able to perfectly represent all the words that it was supposed to but still quite a few people find it to be a bit lackluster if compared to the other spells that were shown by other finalists before her.

After that, the last person to take the stage was none other than the current leader of the city, Hetharna. The words that were given to her were Large, Red and Tree. It was quite a simple combination of words and anyone would be able to imagine the thing that the combination of these words created. But doing something so simple would not be worthy of her great name. So everyone was excited to see what she had in store for them.

And Hetharna did not disappoint. Actually she did not do anything special or came up with a clever idea about her spell. She just took the simplicity of the combination and raised the bar to the heavens. What Hetharna created was nothing too spectacular but just a simple large red tree. Nothing very impressive right ? That was not the case at all as it was evident by the slack jawed reactions of the crowd.

The word large did not represent the tree that Hetharna created. It was actually a tree that was one kilometer tall in height. Even some mountains had lower heights than this tree. But height was not the only thing that this tree had going for it. The colour red that it had was there not because of only fire element but ground, plant, water, wind and lightning elements were mixed in it. This tree was not only a powerful form of defence but at the same time it was also capable of performing extremely powerful attacks.

Even with this impressive spell, Hetharna understood that she was at a disadvantage. That was because this final round was mostly judging an individuals imagination and creativity. But her "Domain Guardian Tree" spell did not have much creativity in it even though she tried to be very creative in combining various elements in her tree, she was not sure if that would be enough to bring the victory to her or not.

Soon it was time to declare the winner. At that same time, the grand prize of the tournament was also brought to the stage. It was obviously the magic book that was responsible for making the whole tournament this grand with the participation of three S rankers.
