Segs was a wealthy merchant from the city of Rambasara. It was a city in the eastern part of Myrilia Kingdom. That area was very close to the Sullivan Empire which became a very lawless nation after a coup d'état performed by the Army of the empire. Slavery became very prominent in the empire after that so as an aftereffects, a large number of slave merchants became active in the eastern part of the kingdom too.

Segs was one such merchant with his main base of operation being in the city of Rambasara. He was doing quite well but one day a sudden disaster fell on all the slave merchants. A rather foolish and reckless merchant tried to sell the granddaughter of Duke Sillveryla. Getting the news, the Duke got insanely upset and sent an order to completely destroy the slavery ring in the eastern kingdom.

He was known as the supreme ruler of the east so his orders were followed perfectly and the slavery system disappeared from there. Segs was somehow able to run away after sacrificing almost 90% of his assets. To properly hide himself, he ran to the south border of the kingdom which was defending against the beast empire of Gaim and the wicked forest of Ull.

Here he planned to carry favour with some nobles and to start a new business. He thought he was lucky to find a foolish but useful noble very soon. He was not very rich for now but his family had a lot of influence and authority. The person he was dealing with was actually the future head of that family. He was very self confident but a very foolish person. He also didn't have much knowledge of the noble customs. All in all he was just perfect to become a puppet.

First he started to target the females from this area as they were the most valued and easy to get commodity for a slave merchant. He was also doing another business of selling fake magic artifacts.

But just a few days ago one of his subordinates who was in-charge of that business got caught while trying to kidnap a female adventurer. From that he guessed that most of the females living in Rin are somewhat strong and so they were a very risky targets.

That was why he moved his target from young, beautiful females to little children who had the second highest profit margin. It was only then he thought of kidnapping the children from the orphanage as this would be more safe and easy.

Today was the day he was going to get the delivery of the orphanage's children. This was also the day from when he would rise up once again. The group he had given the job of abducting the children were professional and very good at their work. So, he was confident that they would be able to deliver the goods.

He was waiting patiently for the group to come in a hidden place inside the forest of Ull. This place was one of the few safe spots inside the vast forest where very few monsters could come. He had 10 strong (between level 130-160) guards.

As he was getting kinda tired from waiting he heard some sound of rustling in the bush. As the guards were getting tensed they were able to see a large group of about 15-18 people coming toward them. After seeing that one of them in the front was holding a symbol of two entwined snakes, they heaved a sigh of relief as this indicated that they were the member of the group called Twin Serpents. This was the group which had taken the job of capturing the children.

Most of the people included in the group had their faces covered in black masks but the leader had no such disguise. He looked like a man in his 40s and he had a very muscular body. Segs knew him as the leader of the group, Twin Serpents that had taken the job of child abduction. His name was Jack.

As they came closer Segs could see they had a cart covered by a cloth with them. He thought that the kidnapped children were inside that cart. So he asked little impatiently -

"Jack, how many children did you manage to catch. Do remember that the payment amount will depend on it."

Jack smiled creepily and said -

"Don't worry Mr. Segs. We were able to capture everyone."

"Umm, but your cart doesn't look large enough to hold so many children tho. What about the workers of the orphanage?"

"We manage to get them too. It's just that, carrying them was troublesome and it was getting late. So first we thought of giving you the first batch of children and the second batch will also come very soon."

"Oh, is that so. Then I will only pay you after getting the full delivery. Now let me see how much those children can be sold for."

As Segs was too excited to see the children and judge how much they could be worth, he missed the creepy smile on Jack's face and also didn't notice the sharp gaze from others who came with Jack.

When Segs removed the cloth, what he saw inside scared him. There was the body of Jack which was badly mutilated. As he just let out a loud scream and fell the other masked person who came alongside 'Jack' all unsheathed their sword and attacked the 10 bodyguards. Soon they were all caught without giving them much of a fight.

Renov Batista was very fond of women and alcohol. He was in a very deep sleep after getting drunk and fucking a maid working in the mansion. But his deep sleep was broken as he heard a loud sound. As he woke up a bit absent-minded he heard another loud sound once again.

This time he woke up immediately and tried to go out of his room. But he fell to the ground when doing that as his feet hit something. There on the ground he could see the unconscious body of a female who was badly hurt. That was the female he raped and tortured last night.

Getting a bit angry after falling because of her he just kicked the body lightly and went out. There he once again heard the loud sound and it was actually coming from his workroom. Getting suspicious and irritated he opened the room to see about ten officials were ransacking the room.

As she tried to protest he was immediately caught and brought to the living room of the mansion. There he saw a large build man of about 40 years sitting in the head seat. His ill father was also there. After seeing his son, he jumped up like an angry boar from his seat and hit Renov. Soon the large man said -

"Come down Count Batista. We will take care of him after we manage to find the evidence."

As soon as he completed his sentence an official entered the room with several documents. He said -

"We manage to find a lot of proof of Renov Batista's wrongdoings. Even excluding this case of the orphanage there are also a lot of other crimes like rape, hidden murder and such. Even the last night he raped and tortured a maid."

The old and sick Count came hurriedly to the official and looked through all the documents. It felt like he had aged more then 10 years just after seeing the proofs. He muttered -

"How can this be? Nobody told me that Mira, Seena and others were raped by that basterd. No, no, no. Oh GODDESS NOIER please forgive me for not being able to save them and repaying them. I am sor.."

He suddenly fainted in agony while apologizing to the ladies who died because of Renov. They all had one way or other help the count so to repay them he made them maids in his mansion and gave them a good salary. But now all of them died because of his son. The large man who was actually the head of security of the margrave, Adams slightly shook his head and took Renov to the prison.
