Leshia lived very close to the noble mansion and that was the proof of her position in this society. Even though she was not a noble vampire by blood, she had managed to reach a position that even other noble vampires would be jealous of. Currently she was also under the protection of one of the vampire queens so even before other noble vampires, she was still able to stand tall with her commoner background.

So her house was also quite big matching her wealth and authority. It was very cleanly decorated and just seeing this house would make anyone believe that her taste was really very classy. Leshia happily invited her three guests inside her house and ordered the servants to prepare food for all four of them. She did not forget to mention that two of her guests were actually elves.

Hearing her orders, the servants bowed and then left. Leshia then took everyone further inside the house to meet with her sister. Due to her illness, she had to sleep for most of the time and she also needed some specialised facilities to stay alive. So she was living in a specially made room in this house with everything she needed available there.

Leshia opened the door of that secret room very gently and entered it. This room was perfectly soundproof as any loud noise was also harmful for Anne, who was Leshia's sister. There were two maids inside the room and they also silently bowed after seeing Leshia. Leshia nodded her head in acknowledgement and looked at the middle of the room.

There was a box made out of glass in the middle of the room and that glass box was filled with deep red blood. From the magical aura that blood was giving off, it was clear that this blood was not regular blood but was blood from a powerful monster, at least of the C rank.

Kaya told everyone that this tank had blood from two species of monsters, Denosyr and Mahasyr. These monsters lived deep in snowy lands of the vampire continent and were actually quite rare. Denosyr were C rank monsters while Mahasyr were their evolved form at the B rank. Kaya was the one who had gone deep in snowy lands to hunt these monsters for her friend. She was an A rank adventurer but she had retired after she became the guild master. But for her friend she once again took up her sword and went to a dangerous region.

There were other monsters whose blood could also be used in this way but the blood of the above mentioned monsters were most suitable. Anne needed blood that was rich in frost elemental magic power but that frost element should not be destructive but instead should have healing properties. And those two monsters were the only ice elemental monsters that had abilities for healing.

Elena understood the situation from what Leshia and Kaya told her and she went closer to the glass box. A petite doll-like lady was floating in the middle of the box. She was definitely Leshia's sister as both of them had the same kind of beauty. Elena needed to touch Anne for the examination so Leshia was planning to take her out of the box for some time but Elena stopped her and told Leshia that she had some investigative skills that could examine her without touching.

As soon as Elena entered the room, she had already analysed Anne with her broken special abilities. She had understood the problems very clearly and had also found out the reason behind this. According to Leshia, Anne was alright for most of her life but suddenly started showing the sign of this rare illness that did not even have a name. If there were not work written documents describing the same symptoms, the doctors would have thought that Anne was the first victim of this illness.

But after three years of research with Leshia's generous funding they had managed to find a cure which was the flower that Elena had picked from that dangerous forest. But even then they were still not sure how Anne came in contact with this illness. It was not a contagious disease so they had no idea why Anne was affected by it. At last they thought that Anne might have a special constitution that was weak to this disease. It was not an optimal answer but it was the best that these researchers and doctors were able to find out.

After casting a simple searching spell on Anne, Elena started to tell everyone about what she had found out. She calmly started from the symptoms and then went into further details. Leshia had not told Elena about the actual symptoms of the disease, so she was extremely impressed by how easily Elena was able to find that out.

When Anne was in the early stage of the disease, she would just feel weak all over her body and her energy levels would be very low. Vampire's body temperature was generally very low but her body temperature had started to increase because of this disease. She always had fevers when it increased too much.

In the later stages Anne almost became unable to even walk. Not only that but her body would start to suddenly burn with powerful fire. This fire was also quite special as the burn marks that it left were hard to be healed even with Anne's superior body regeneration capabilities. It was estimated that in later stages, her body might even always be on fire which would be a terrific and extremely bad thing.

After talking about the symptoms Elena finally told Leshia the reason for this disease. It was actually the effect of a certain type of magic that could be categorised under curses. But this curse was not an artificial one but was a natural curse. There were several conditions for this curse to affect someone and unfortunately Anne fulfilled all the conditions.

The flower that Elena had picked up from the Lammrok forest had natural wood elemental properties that were leaning toward the dark element. So this medicine was able to counter attack the curse and would be able to get rid of its effects. That was the reason why it was effective. A positive wood elemental medicine would just make the curse even more dangerous.

As for the conditions that Anne had fulfilled, first she needed to have good affinity for the ice element. Next her bloodline power should be above most commoner vampire but still lower than a noble vampire and finally the nature of her mana should be active and explosive which was completely different from what her affinity was.

These conditions were very uncommon and not many people matched them. But unfortunately Anne matched all of them and was affected by it. Leshia was quite shaken by this discovery but seeing a calm Elena she got some hope and asked Elena if the flower could properly cure her or if Elena had any other way to save her dear little sister.

Seeing the tensed look on Leshia's face, Elena told her to relax and started to share the perfect recovery plan that Elena had come up with.
