Elena did not want to just go around destroying any monsters that she came across. Doing so was definitely a way to free some work for Kaya but if he did that most of the adventurers who came to the city in order to hunt monsters in this session would not be able to earn much and that might cause some future trouble for the guild. There was a slight possibility that those adventurers might not come back to this city for the next monster hunting session.

So what Elena was going to do was to take care of the strong monsters that regular adventurers would not be able to handle. This way she would be able to lessen the amount of dead adventurers. Most of the adventurers who died during these missions died because they suddenly encountered a monster that was beyond their league. So if Elena took care of those monsters, many more adventurers would not prematurely lose their lives and would be able to handle the weaker monsters faster.

So Elena used her searching skill to find the nearest strongest monster and immediately went toward it. This monster turned out to be a spider who was very good at stealth and was hiding near a group of weaker monsters called Red Imps. If any adventurer team came to subjugate these red imps, they would just become food for this spider monster. These types of sneaky monsters were the main reason why so many adventurers ended up dying even after being very cautious about everything.

This spider monster was taken care of in no time but Elena left the group of red imp untouched. For vampire adventurers they were like what goblins were to human adventurers. So the adventurers of the city of Utreyana should be more than capable enough to take care of them. So Elena used her searching skill once again and went to hunt down the next powerful monster.

While the ladies were busy discussing about their vacation plan and Elena was busy hunting down powerful monsters, a secret meeting was taking place in another part of the marquis' mansion. A handsome young man with violet hair and orange eyes was having a meeting with 5 other men who were all dressed in a butler suit. There was one woman present in the room but she was not participating in the meeting and was just standing in a corner like an inanimate object.

This young man was none other than one of the older brothers of Alisia and son of the marquis. His name was Solaris and he was a very ambitious person. Currently he was listening to what these men in butler suits had to say to him who were his collaborators.

"Master Solaris, your younger sister had gotten very close with the Charming Witch and the Heroic guild master. If this continues then your chance for succession would get lower and lower. In that case we, the Black Parapet, would unfortunately not be able to support you anymore."

Hearing this the slight smile on Solaris' face disappeared and his eyes got a sharp glint. Then he said in a slightly displeased tone.

"I was able to send my sister away from the whole vampire continent for a very long time and you all were supposed to use that time to strengthen my base in the city. Not only were you all only able to show mediocre results in that regard, just after she came back she was able to get more results than that in almost no time. And now you all have the face to threaten me for your own incompetence."

As soon as Solaris said that, some of the men in the butler suit became displeased and licked a little bit of killing intent toward him. But immediately after that a chilling killing intent surrounded all of them and all five of the black parapet members felt an imaginary knife on their throat ready to take their lives. This insane killing intent was coming from the silent maid who was just calmly standing at a corner. All of them had almost forgotten about her existence and now that maid made all of them to shake in fear.

Seeing the scared face of these men who were always looking down on him, Solaris allowed himself to enjoy this scene a bit longer and then he ordered in a commanding tone.

"Martha, calm down. Do not scare our new hires this much. At least restrain yourself as long as they are still our collaborators. If that changes in the future only then you're allowed to do whatever you want with them."

Speaking this much, Solaris looked at the men before him with a nasty and mocking smile on his face and continued -

"But I'm sure that the people before me are intelligent and would never make that type of silly mistake. Am I right ?"

On any other day, this would make those men angry but today they were so scared by Martha's killing intent that they were not in the mind to get angry at all. All of them immediately started to tell Solaris how much they were willing to do for him and how they were ready to work to the bone for him.

Solaris did not take this low lives seriously but they were now the best pawns that he had in his hands. So he again started the discussion with them and now it proceeded without any further trouble.

Solaris first told them to investigate the two S rank adventurers who his sister had brought with her from the other continent. The Black Parapet were unaware of their existence that made Solaris even more disappointed in this dark organisation. But for the time being this was the best card in his hand and he asked them to investigate those two adventurers.

Other than that, they were told to continue doing their underworld business just as usual. Normally the Black Parapet were going to take Solaris' orders seriously but from today onward they had no other choice.

One of the members of the black parapet proposed an idea to Solaris just before leaving and that idea was to assassinate Alisia. In his mind, this was the perfect plan to end the competition for Solaris. This immediately turned Solaris extremely angry but before he could say anything, the man who proposed this idea was bisected in half and Martha was standing in that place. Her hands were also filled with blood. She had bisected this man with her bare hands.

That person immediately died as his brain was also cut in half. Only powerful noble vampires were able to heal from a wound of that severity. Seeing this scene the remaining four men were scared stiff. Solaris addressed them in a harsh tone and told them that in this fight between brothers and sisters, they were only able to fight without harming any of their siblings. If any one of them were hurt in any way, everyone related to that incident would just disappear from this world.

After getting a warning from Solaris, all the remaining members of the Black Parapet left his room in a hurry.
