So his proposal itself was not problematic but the rewards mentioned were. As reward he was planning to give the ladies a medicine that could make a man rock hard for hours, or a well built puppet that could satisfy a lonely lady, or an aphrodisiac to make even powerful vampires super horny etc. So all the rewards mentioned in the letter were degenerate ones like that.
