Those two were not the weapons that Pachante was interested in. So she went and started checking out the A rank weapons which were getting sold at a very low price. But Elena was interested in the weapon that this blacksmith had managed to create with all his heart and mind.

That weapon was a sword. It had a silver hilt and a crystal-like bluish blade. It was extremely beautiful but at the same time it was also extremely powerful. The more Elena looked at the sword, her eyes started to become hazy and the scene of a girl moving around with a similar looking sword appeared in her mind.

She was holding a heavily decorated sword made out of bluish crystal. That girl has a proud and cold face. The current serious look suited her very well.

This girl was named Beatrice. She was the heir to an ancient swordsman family and the only bloodline that family had in the world. Elena had come to meet this while chasing an Infernal Fiend who was a pawn of the calamity. It had not been too long since they had met, but in no time Elena and Beatrice had become close friends as their personalities were too compatible.

Beatrice's family were the ones who were taking care of the city where Elena was staying at that moment. But then this Infernal Fiend attacked the city and her whole family was wiped away except for her. This fiend was a powerhouse from a different world which had already been destroyed by the destroyer. This fiend had betrayed his own world and had become a servant for the calamity.
