After Tomoe was done resting, she came out of the special space with Elena. Even though she had slept for several hours inside the special space, only a few minutes had passed in the outside world. So for all the people, it just looked like Tomoe and Elena were out for a short conversation and were back after finishing it.

After healing and recovery magic was used on Katerina, she woke up very quickly. Even though most of the audience had not realised it, Katerina was aware of how one sided her defeat actually was. So she congratulated Tomoe for that and decided to take Tomoe as her next target to surpass.

After that the house handover process started and it went smoothly. Elena took the house and paid Katerina the remaining money in full. But just getting the house was not enough and Elena needed to prepare many things in accordance with the rule of this area.

First she needed to prepare a powerful barrier which was up to the standard for the regular security level of the city. Elena had already prepared a barrier that was capable of withstanding even S rank attacks and deployed it immediately.

Next she needed people to manage this house for her. Elena could do something about this with her magic but even though it was not a must, the city leaders always encouraged people to hire people to manage their mansions. That was because becoming a maid and butler was the most sought after job in this area.

Elena did not see any need for why she should not hire competent people to manage this house for her. But head hunting in the city specially in this time of the year when almost no one was recruiting so most of the people were not looking for a new job and were already working was definitely hard.

But fortunately for Elena, Katerina was ready with a solution for her. As she had many people working for her and her family, through their connection, she had managed to find 10 people who were willing to work in this mansion. After asking Elena if she was fine recruiting them, Katerina decided to hold an interview after some time.

Katerina, Elena and Tomoe sat down for the interview but obviously Katerina was not going to give any input as it was Elena and Tomoe who were doing the recruiting. So as the third interviewer, Elena asked Zona to take that role.

Zona was extremely happy to see that Elena was depending on her for something and she was very eager to give her best to this task. So with a very excited Zona ready to find Elena the best of the best people for her house, the interview process started.

Among the people who were taking the interview, six of them were females and the rest of the four were males. All of them came from reliable backgrounds and had training as a servant to handle a large house. So they all should be very good at their job.

At the interview table, Elena allowed Tomoe and Zona to take the lead. Elena was fine to be in the background making sure that no one too evil was getting accepted. Taking an interview like this was a learning experience and Elena wanted Tomoe and Zona to get that experience from all this.

Just like that the interview started. The first person to enter was a young man with handsome features and very good manners. The way he spoke was also very perfectly like how a butler should speak. From that it looked like he was a perfect candidate to be accepted.

Then Tomoe and Zona started asking him various questions about many different topics ranging from his ideals to how he would handle different situations. All the answers that this man gave were something that no one would tell wrong. So it looked like the very first person to give the interview would be accepted, but that did not happen.

Tomoe and Zona both immediately rejected him. Seeing this decision, Katerina was also nodded her head. She had no idea that bad apples like this were amongst the people that she had recommended and now she was feeling bad. So she decided to apologise after this interview was over for not taking proper care in sorting out these applicants.

After hearing that he was rejected, the look in the man's eye changed for a moment but soon he calmed down and asked for the reason for his rejection. Then he moved to take out a handkerchief from his pocket. But as soon as he did that, Tomoe and Katerina both released their killing intent toward him and the poor man immediately froze. The handkerchief fell from her hand and a bead came out from inside it.

Katerina ordered one of the maids staying in the room to bring the bead to her and after checking it out she informed everyone that this bead had powerful poisonous gas stored inside it and this man was trying to break it. This poisonous gas was not fatal but it could make even S rankers dizzy for a moment and this man was ready to use that chance to flee.

The politics of this city run deep with several families holding high authorities and the queen rarely intervened in most matters. So all the large families were always spying on one another. And this man here was exactly a spy like that.

He had played the role of an excellent butler very well but he ended up making a few mistakes. Firstly he was too eager to prove how good he was and ended up telling everyone about his about on a matter that no one who had even worked in this house should know about.

Not only that but even though his acting was pretty good, in the powerful eyes of a S ranker, his acting was pretty clear from the very beginning because of his body movements. So his real identity was almost revealed and he was captured for interrogation.

Fortunately, other than him, the rest of the candidates all turned out to be fine and any of them were capable of working in this mansion. But Zona had a very high standard for the people who would be working in this house, so only four amongst the nine people were approved by her. Elena was fine with just four of them managing her house so she hired them with the highest possible salary of this city. This time Katerina was not even surprised by this as she had already seen how much Elena loved to spend money.

Just like that all the stuff Elena needed to do in the city was done and it was time for her to move out again. And at the same time, it was also time for her to be separated from Tomoe. So in front of a portal that led to the Sacred Village, Tomoe hugged Elena for a long time and then with a little sad smile on her face and a determined look in her eyes, she stepped inside the portal. Then the portal closed.

Elena was also a little sad but she also knew that they would surely meet again someday. And that time Tomoe would be shining even brighter than her current self.
