Restart: The World Savior's New Beginning

Chapter 587: Ch 587: Fighting Floor Bosses

Alessia was moving with haste at first but after some time she calmed down a little bit and started to search for her friends a bit more carefully. As for the reason why she calmed down, that was because after encountering a few monsters and beasts on this floor, she realised that they were not very strong. So her friends should also be able to take care of them.

After calming down, Alessia also realised that if she moved too fast and failed to notice her friends due to her carelessness, then that would be very bad. That was why she became more careful with her searching. Still she continued to move forward while killing any monsters she came across.

At first she was encountering only B and C rank monster but finally she also encountered an A rank one. It was large gorilla who could control trees so the forest was a perfect battle ground for it. But still even with the terrain advantage, Alessia was just way too strong and the gorilla did not last for long. Behind the gorrila, Alessia found stairs which led deeper inside the dungeon. It looked like the gorrila that she killed was the boss of this floor.

But Alessia did not go down the stairs as she still needed to find her friends before that. But if she again started travelling in random direction, then she would miss the location of the stairs again. That would just waste her and her friend's time.

Alessia did know about mapping process but she was not very good at it. But still without marking the location of the stair in a map, she had no other way to track it. So even though Alessia was not really very good at map making, she did her best to do it. This slowed down her speed even more but Alessia had to accept that.

...

While Alessia was just starting her map making process, Nina had already mapped over 40 percent of the floor. It had not even been a full day but she had still managed to accomplish so much. It was truly very impressive.

The main reason why Nina's progress was so fast was because the monsters and beasts of this floor were super weak and Nina had managed to kill all of them in a very short amount time. But currently Nina was taking a little break before going to fight an A rank monster.

So far she had only found B rank and C rank monsters and beasts. So this was going to be her first battle against an opponent of the A rank. That was why Nina was acting a bit more cautiously than usual. She even took her time to observe her opponent and came up with the best plan to take care of it.

The monster she was going to face was a large tiger that could control plants. So this forest environment was perfect for it. So to stop the tiger monster from using the forest to its advantage, before even the start of the battle, she killed off all the plants in the vicinity of the tiger with a powerful poison which was super effective against the plant life.

The tiger itself had some qualities of the plants so it was also injured by the poison. Nina took this chance to sneak attack the monster and destroyed it's eyes. Nina had already used a gas with a strong smell to get rid of the monster's sense of smell and she was using her concealment skills to hide her sounds.

With that, this monster had no way to detect Nina's presence, so Nina was able to sneak attack it again and again. That way, this monster was not able to withstand so many sneak attacks and died very soon.

After defeating the monsters, Nina felt that even if she had faced this monster head on, she would have been able to defeat it. But as the scout of her party, Nina had not fought against many A rank monsters alone as her team was always with her. That was the reason she took a more cautious approach to make sure that she was strong enough to defeat this monster.

Behind the monster, Nina found a stairs going down. She marked the area and continued exploring the floor more. She still needed to find her friends before leaving this floor so she was not going leave the floor just yet.

...

Shia had slowly started exploring the floor after hunting down a few beasts. But the area where she was, was filled with many herbs and some of which were very rare. So if Shia missed the chance to get them now, then who knew when she would find a second opportunity. So she was moving while collecting all the rare herbs she came across. Obviously for this reason her speed of progression was very slow.

But Shia did not worry about it. From what she had seen so far, this floor definitely did not have a S rank monster. So she believed that all of her friends would be safe. Obviously a super high level A rank monster was also very dangerous but Shia still believe that even if her friends could not defeat a monster like that, they would at least be able to run away. So she continued with her slow but steady pace of progress.

After travelling for quite a bit, she encountered her first A rank monster. It was deer who looked to have the ability to control plants. It was a level 260 monster so it was not very strong amongst the A rankers.

Shia fought it head on and managed to defeat it in no time. Her fire element was just way too effective against a monster like this who was controlling plants. That was the main reason for Shia's easy victory.

It looked like this deer was the floor boss as Shia managed to find a stairway going downward just behind the monster. But she still needed to find her friends before leaving the floor, so she continued travelling while putting down a magical tracker in this area.

...

Marina followed the guidence of her insticts and soon found herself before an A rank monster. This monster was a wolf and it had green fur. Marina guessed that this monster was able to control plants. So far she had only encountered weak rank C and rank B monsters, so finding her first worthy prey in this dungeon, she was excited.

She immediately brandished her spear and charged at the monster. The wolf had sharp senses and noticed her immediately. Then both of them clashed. Marina's fighting style was simple. She fought from the front with her impressive spear skills and she was also able to cover her spear with various elements. And as she was also able to use healing magic, any injuries that she received were immediately healed.

So Marina was extremely well suited for a long drown out battle. The more time she fought, her opponent would start to get tired but she would still be in her top form. But the wolf monster was just not strong enough to push Marina to her limit and it was defeated very soon.

Marina was a bit disappointed that the battle ended so early but still she managed to enjoy herself so the disappointment did not last for long. Behind the monster, she found a stair going down deeper inside the dungeon. Marina's brain told her to not go down the stair as she still needed to find her friends but her intuition told her that doing down the stair was the correct choice. So Marina found herself in a dilemma.

So what was she going to do now ?
