The gates of the spaceship opened and immediately Hongjuan stepped out with his body glowing with black light while a golden dragon of luck was circling around his body. The red gem on his head was also glowing and overall, he gave off a very intimidating vibe.

All the other people who were on the ship noticed it and immediately started to cheer. They were not sure about the black glow on their boss' body but they were very familiar with the golden dragon of luck. It was the symbol that a noble from their nation was going to get serious.

As the people working in the spaceship were watching their attacks not working and even the super expensive robots unable to defeat the opponent, they all were getting a bit tensed. But after seeing their boss in his serious form, they were finally able to relax a little bit.

The fame of the golden dragon of luck was extremely high in the world of CHANGXIA. Even in other nations of this world, this golden dragon was very respected. So as inhabitants of that world, the crew of the ship was more impressed by it than the super expensive mechas they had very limited knowledge about.

As Elena was not using any of her ability other than the heart tools, she was unable to analyse Hongjuan. But with her vast experience, she was able to immediately notice that the power this man was radiating was not his own and instead it was coming from a different source. Seeing this Elena smiled in her heart and thought that fate really worked in mysterious ways.

She then immediately manifested a new heart tool of hers. It was a light saber with a flickering blue blade. This was her fifth and last heart tool. This light saber looked extremely cool and dangerous but actually it was completely unable to hurt anyone. It had no physical or magical presence. So if she swang this light saber toward anyone, it would do no damage. So it sounded like a very useless heart tool.

Completely useless heart tools did exist in the world but if this heart tool was one of them then Elena's heart tool would never have chosen it. That could only mean that this heart tool had a special power. It's special power was the ability to sever the various kinds of illusory connections between things.

The true owner of this heart tool was using it to cut the connection between the Xenos core and the beasts it had corrupted. This was a very effective way to resist the power of the corruption. But the Xenos core that had appeared around him was too strong so no matter how many connections he severed, the Xenos core created those connection again almost immediately.

The man who had this was a member of the special security force tasked with the protection of the city. He did his best and tried to rescue as many citizens as he could. But the amount of transformed beast was just too much and he was unable to handle them for much time. He only had one sword and he could only sever one connection at a time. While multiple beasts were attacking him at the same time.

Just as he was about to be overwhelmed and die, Elena appeared before him and saved him. Then in front of his eyes, she defeated all the corrupted beasts in no time and even destroyed the Xenos core. The man whose named was Ahanan was extremely impressed by it and took Elena as his role model from that day on.

After manifesting this weapon, without giving Hongjuan any chance to react, she swang it and cut off the connection that was appearing from his crest. Immediately the golden dragon of luck disappeared and all the cheering crew members froze. They felt extremely terrible. Seeing the golden dragon of luck, they reached the peak of their joy and excitement. But as soon as Elena made the golden dragon to disappear with just a single move, their mood immediately dropped to the very bottom of despair.

Elena did not care about the reaction of the crew members or even Hongjuan. She swang the light saber again with the intention of cutting off the black connection that was originating from the token. But this time Elena failed. As soon as her light saber hit the black like of connection coming out from the token of the Grand Celestial Alliance, her light saber was repelled without being able to do any damage to the black line.

This surprised Elena a little bit. It looked like whatever was responsible for this black line was stronger than the golden one. So it looked like even with the heart tool that perfectly countered the method this man was using, this battle was not going to be too easy.

Elena immediately made the light saber to disappear and again the twin fans appeared in her hand. She was not using the Legia energy heart tool because the ship would again interfere with it and she was saving Saska's heart tool to use it in an opportune moment. So that was how the battle started.

Elena was still unable to perfectly control her power output but this man's current power level was very close to her with the power boosts he was getting. So he was a higher level opponent than Elena's usual enemies and now that her control had gotten a lot better, she was confident that she would able to keep this man alive.

As for the reason why she was not planning to kill him, that was because Elena was planning to leave the fate of this man in the hands of the inhabitants of PALDORA who were the ones were hurt by his schemes. So Elena was planning to hand him over to the elders of the tower. With this in mind, she made sure to not use any moves that were too lethal so that she did not kill him in mistake.

After fighting him for some time, Elena was quite disappointed. Even though this man would be quite high in the list of enemies Elena had fought in terms of power level, Hongjuan really had very little experience with fighting and in Elena's opinion, he was below third rate as a fighter. This was truly disappointing for her.

Even though Hongjuan had gotten weaker after the golden dragon of luck disappeared, he was still strong enough to match a top level powerhouse of that world like Ompenhyner. Actually if Elena was fighting Ompenhyner with these restrictions on, she would have very little chance of winning. So Elena had hoped that she would need to use smart strategies and had to dig deeper in order to win this fight.

But with his inexperience in battle, Hongjuan turned out to be a very disappointing opponent. He created a lot of openings and by taking advantage of them, Elena was soon able trap him inside a world created by Saska's heart tool and before he could get out, Elena used space and time combination from the twin fans to change his perception in a rapid speed which give his nervous system a massive overload that shut it down. With that, Hongjuan became senseless and paralysed so Elena was able to easily capture him.

After the boss of the spaceship, Hongjuan fell in her hand, the ship and the crew also surrender without trying to put any more fight. Hierarchy was very important for people of Hongjuan's race so when a noble was captured, the commoner had no more bravery to continue fighting.

That was how Elena's little battle in the void came to an victorious end.
