According to the notes left in the ship, this journey should only take a little over two days. After visiting the world of CHANGXIA, Elena was also planning to have the meeting with Ompenhyner's mother before returning to PALDORA. So if this journey was going to take too long, Elena was planning to speed it up with her own skills.

The ladies also calmed down after vigorously investigating the ship for several hours and finally started to relax. Inside the dimensional corridor, the scenery outside was that of chaotic space filled with ever-changing colours. It really looked very mesmerising.

Elena took this time to get to know the ladies even better. She also gave Saska and Heity some advice during this time. While using their heart tool against the spaceship, Elena had managed to find more interesting hidden information about them. So she told Heity and Saska about it.

So the journey continued in peace for several hours but when the ladies were busy having an exciting dinner with foods cooked by Elena, suddenly alarms started to sound throughout the whole ship. One of the operator, immediately shouted in alertness -

"Something is using spatial power to pull out ship out of the dimensional corridor. The interference is too strong and we will exit the corridor in 60 seconds. Whatever responsible for this should be strong. Everyone, prepare for combat."

The staff of the ship were quite good at their job. There were a few greenhorns here and there but the vast majority of them were veterans. They reacted to the threat calmly and got ready to engage whatever was responsible for this trouble.

Elena decided to wait and see how the crew was going to fight. It was a void being that was responsible for this trouble and it was lower than level 3000 in terms of strength. So the ship should be able to handle it without much trouble. This would also be good opportunity for the ladies to witness a battle in the void.

After the ship came out of the dimensional corridor, the figure of the being responsible became clear. It was a very weird looking creature. It had a long and thin body but the upper portion and the lower portion had some bulk. From the upper portion, four sharp sword like limbs were visible. And the lower portion had spider like limbs with pointed ends. The body of this being was completely black which made it to blend with the void effortlessly.

The only part of this monster that was easily visible was it's eye that was bright red. It had only a single, super large eye in the middle of the bulky upper part. It looked quite bizzare and seeing this monster on the screen made the ladies a bit worried.

This being was strong enough to match the elders and even defeat some of them. So for these elder candidates, it looked extremely scary. But Heity, Saska, Gotou and Kita did not feel as much threatened by this monster as they strong enough to match or even surpass the elders.

As soon as this bizzare being became visible, the weapons of the ship were deployed and seven cannons fired at it. The ship had more than seven cannons but the operators had gathered the observational data and had judged that seven cannons should be enough to take care of this void being. This will save the ammunition and energy of the ship.

The first volley of fire got a direct hit on this being and did a great deal of damage. But from the second volley onward, the monster started to move it's body in random pattern to dodge some of the cannon fires. Then it's eyes started glowing and a red beam came out from it.

The beam was unable to penetrate the barrier of the ship but it depleted a great deal of the barrier's strength. This ship's barrier would only be able to withstand at most three or four of these beam attacks. And the sensor of the ship had analysed the nature of this beam which turned out to be extremely destructive in nature. So the getting a direct hit from it was undesirable.

So they deployed the energy jammer that had given Elena a lot of trouble. This gadget used up quite a high amount of energy, so the operators only used it when the void being was about to charge it's eye beam attack. This way they were able to minimise the energy consumption.

Just like that, the battle continued. Seeing that the beam attack had became useless, the monster tried to attack the ship with its sword like limbs. But the ship's barrier resisted this kind of physical attack quite effectively so it was a little useless.

Elena started to analyse the monster and found it to be very intresting. Normally a being of this high power level should be decently intelligent but this void being only had its instinct as a living being and nothing else. But still, it was quite powerful for a level 3000 being. Elena judged that this being was capable of defeating even higher level beings if their potential and combat power was not extremely high.

But still it was not match for the spaceship. As the battle became more heated, the ship started using two more cannons and even launched there missiles. That was enough to kill this void being. As the battle was very fierce, it's whole body was filled with holes made by the cannon fire. The burnt signs of the missiles was also visible. But still, the intact body parts of the void being was extremely valuable and the ship collected it in their spatial concept boosted storage unit.

Seeing this amazing space battle, everyone was extremely excited. That was specially the case for Kasumi who was almost jumping in joy. She found this battle to be very heart pumping. As the spaceship had came out of the dimensional corridor, Elena again had to take control of driving it in order to send the ship inside the dimensional corridor again.

Encountering one void being was considered quite normal. But more than that appearing was unlikely. But not even after two hours since their last encounter another void being attacked them. This time it did not pull the ship out of the dimensional corridor but instead tried to destroy it from outside.

But the dimensional corridor was strong enough to easily to block most of the attacks. Without that much power, it would not be able to exist for such a long time. So the ship was unharmed inside the dimensional corridor.

But with continuous attacks, the corridor had became Chaotic and was not suitable for travel anymore. So the ship was forced to come out. As soon as the spaceship came out, it started firing all the cannons at once.

The void being this time was a large, fat being with no legs and head. It's belly had four creepy eyes and one large mouth. It's hands were large and powerful, one slap could probably destroy an astroid. Currently those hands were moving in great speed, countering all the cannon attacks.

That was how the second battle of this trip started.
