Azusa did not start the battle with a sneak attack as she wanted to defeat this monster head on. So she straight forwardly approached it. As she got closer, the snake noticed her and open its eyes. It had slited pupils like a snake and the colour of the eye was gold. After noticing Azusa, it disentangled itself from the meteor and got ready for a battle. It looked like this snake had not forgotten about their last fight.

As Azusa came before the super large head of the snake, it gave her a deep look. Then it looked slightly behind her and started to release a threatening aura toward that location. After a few moments, Elena came out of the spatial folds in that location and calmly smiled at the snake monster. As it was able to find her in the spatial folds, it was clear that this snake monster's mastery of dimension concept was quite high.

Seeing Elena and Azusa together, the monster understood that they wanted to team up to fight him. Immediately it hissed loudly and initiated the fight. The violet patterns on its body started glowing and the same gas that was covering the whole area started to come out from the monster's body. But the colour of this gas was even more deep purply than the natural one.

Elena immediately understood that this snake was actually capable of creating a powerful version of the gas without the need to strengthen the natural one. This same gas had turned Azusa's genesis grade items useless the last time. But this time, Elena was there to support her.

Seeing the the violet gas was about to engulf Azusa, Elena used her own material concept to create a layer of blue metal over her armour and spear. The violet gas was able to destroy this metal but it immediately started to regenerate. Actually the rate of regeneration was slightly lower than the rate of destruction, so the blue Armour was not able to completely prevent the violet gas and it managed to reach the Genesis grade items.

But still, the blue metal had reduced the power of the violet gas by quite a bit so it was only able to lower the strength of the armour and spear by 20 percent of so. That was actually much better than what Azusa had expected so her confidence to win this fight became even higher.

She immediately used the power of splitting and merging of her spear together to create an power that disintegrated anything it came in contact with. Then she used that power to attack the snake with her spear arts. This energy was extremely powerful and the snake immediately sensed that. So instead of taking the attack head on, it used the power of fate concept to hide it's existence and space concept to move away. Immediately Azusa lost sight of the super large snake.

But to break through this defensive method, she did not need to ask Elena for help. The disintegration power was strong enough to even break through the defense of intangible things like fate and Azusa herself was a good user of space concept. So she was able to reach the snake monster with her own strength.

The last time, the main reason why she was defeated so easily was because she had suddenly lost both of her Genesis grade items. But as that was not the case this time, she was able to show her full combat prowess. Elena also analysed the destiny concept defense that this sanke had used and she judged that it was almost two levels below the golden ring humanoid monster they previously fought. That was the reason why Azusa was able to directly break through it.

But just as Azusa's attack was about to connect, the red patterns on the snake's white horn started glowing. Immediately the strength of all the abilities that the snake was using increased and Azusa suddenly missed the strike. After the sudden boost of power that the snake got, now it was able to defend against Azusa's disintegration power with its destiny concept.

But Azusa was not alone in this fight. Just as the second strike was also about to miss, Elena used her own fate concept to increase the probability of it hitting. Immediately the monster was not able to dodge the attack again and for the first time in the fight, the strike connected.

A pain filled hissing sound was immediately heard and a large wound appeared on the monster's large body. Compared to its size, a wound like this did not look like a big deal. But the wound was covered in a dim white light and was not healing at all. This was the power of the disintegration.

Seeing this sucess, Azusa continued attacking with more enthusiasm. The snake tried to defend itself but failed most of the time because of Elena's interference. And it looked like the power boost it was getting had a time limit. So as time passed and more wounds appeared on the monster's body, it started to get desparate.

Elena was a bit surprised as for why this monster had not used the concept of time even in a situation like this. She was sure that this monster was definitely capable of using the time concept but she was not sure in what way. So Elena was also looking forward to seeing what it could do with the time concept.

Finding itself in an increasingly terrible situation, the snake monster finally decided to use the time concept. The red glow disappeared from its horn and the whole thing started to shine with a bright white light. Seeing this, with her own experience with the time concept, Elena immediately understood what this snake was trying to do. So she immediately used her own temporal concept to defend against it.

But her defense was only partially sucessful. It did managed to defend against the move but not completely. So at the very last moment, Elena had to take out her sword and used it.

Even though she was not bad with various concept magic, she had been training with them for a very short amount of time and her talent in this field was nowhere near as good as her talent with the sword. So Elena was at her strongest while wielding one.

She did not forget to only take out a Genesis grade sword as anything else would be in trouble here. So with just a single slash, she did manage to destroy the time power completely. The whole area was filled with a white light when the snake had used this move and when the light disappeared, only Elena and Azusa were in the area.

Azusa was slightly injured and looked quite tired but nothing was seriously wrong with her. On the other hand, Elena was perfectly fine. But surprisingly, the large snake was nowhere to be found.

Azusa thought that the snake had most probably ran away after using that powerful attack. Azusa had felt an immense amount of threat from that attack and she was extremely grateful to Elena for protecting her from it.

When Azusa tried to thank her, Elena slightly smiled and told her to not mind it. Then she suddenly said that she had a gift for her cute little sister. Azusa was surprised and curious about what kind of gift Elena had for her. So Elena did not keep her in suspense for long and casually raised her hand and penetrated the layers of space. Then when her hand came out of the spatial layer, she was holding a mini black snake in her hands.
