As her vines were not doing well against the corrosive power of the snake, Beel started using different methods. Her main method of fighting was definitely the plants but that did not mean that was her only means of fighting.

The ability to summon powerful vines was a racial skill of hers. She had mastered this skill throughout her long life and had became a powerhouse. But other than that, she was also quite high talent for using magic. But with her extremely high affinity with plants, her affinities for various destructive elements were very bad. The only elements she was good with were water and earth. But unfortunately both of these elements were not attack focused and Beel was an aggressive fighter.

So to maximize her strength, most of the spell that she had mastered were spells that gave various useful boosts to her vines. So her choice of attacks in a situation like this where her vines were useless was very limited.

Beel still cast a spell and called forth a whirlpool. The snake was immediately trapped inside that. This attack looked flashy and strong but it did not harm the snake at all. Instead, the python was able to easily break free from the attack.

Beel cast another spell after that which was an earth elemental spell and several earthen spikes came out of the ground to pierce the python all over. But the spikes were just not strong enough and were unable to pierce even the skin of the powerful python.

Both of the spells that Beel used were quite high tier spells. But still they did almost no damage to the snake. The reason for that was clear. Even same spells did different amount of damage depending on various stats of the caster. Among those stats, INT was the most important. But unfortunately, Beel's INT stat was preety low. So the amount of damage she was able to do with spells was also low.

Her vine attacks scaled with DEX stat which she had raised to a very high degree. In that case, if she had chosen the secondary path of being a weapon user who also needed a high DEX stat then she would have performed slightly better in this fight. But she did not do that as becoming a swordmaster was not very useful for her overall combat strength.

After seeing how useless her spells were, Beel started greeting her teeth in anger and decided to use brute force in the fight. She was planning to overwhelm the python's corrosion with her countless vines. This would have actually been a good plan if the python was significantly lower in levels than her. But as that not the case, Beel was having a tough time trying to succeed with this brute force method of hers.

During this fight, Beel was continuously pushed back and now she found herself almost at the border of the special zone. If she was pushed back a little bit more, she would almost reach the special zone and her subordinates would also came in this python's range. Seeing this, Beel's eyes became bloodshot and she decided to ask for Elena's help.

Beel was actually not sure about how strong Elena was. The monster Elena had killed while saving her children was only a B rank one. But as Elena was also able to block the attacks of the S rank trio, she was also definitely a S rank powerhouse. But with her sharp intuition, Beel felt that S rank was not really the limit for Elena and she was sure that Elena was at least a legendary grade powerhouse.

So even though it was a bit humiliating for a powerhouse of her level, she begged Elena for help. There were a few things that she could have tried to fight this python but as she was not sure how successful those strategies of hers would be, she decided to not take the dangerous decision. If she took the risk by trying her method and then it failed, that would put the lives of all her subordinates and her children on the line. That was definitely not something that Beel wanted.

Seeing Beel asking for help with a desparate but determined look on her face, Elena smiled slightly and lifted her hand. Then she cast a spell called "Heavy Barrier". Immediately a large brown barrier appeared above the snake like a canopy. But this barrier was too heavy and started crushing the phyton with its wait. This was not an attack spell but a barrier spell. The canopy like barrier was actually there to protect the snake from various attacks. It's defensive capabilities were actually better than most spells of the same level. But only a few people, whose own physical strength was extremely impressive were able to use this barrier for protection. For anyone else, this barrier was very dangerous. The same was true for the python. It was getting crushed under the heavy barrier. But as it had a decently powerful body as a borderline legendary grade monster, it was not completely crushed by the barrier.

But what would happen if more barriers appeared to protect it. It would be safer from more attacks from outside but at the same time, the crushing wait on it would also increase. Just like that after Elena had stacked up the fourth barrier on it, the python was unable to handle the load anymore and died by getting completely crashed.

This was an astonishing sight for all the people present here. They had expected Elena to use some kind of super powerful magic spell or weapon art to defeat the monster. If that would have happened, then they would have felt impressed but not surprised. But Elena defeated a super powerful monster like the python with just a barrier spell. So they were having a hard time understanding how they should feel about it.

But they were not able to stay confused for much longer. That was because after the death of the snake, they suddenly sensed that quite a few powerful presences were coming toward them at a very fast speed. And two of the presences at the very front stood out for their incredibly high power level. Sensing those presences, Beel greeted her teeth in anger and growled -

"Laventa, Nocrose ! I will kill you two bastards."

Those were the name of two other overlords. It looked like Beel's guess was correct and they were behind all the problems that she had faced in this expedition. And they would have actually succeeded in their planning if Elena was not here. This made Beel extremely angry not only on them but also on her own self.

As she was losing her mind, Elena patted her back slightly and said that now was not the time to worry about her shortcomings. She first should take care of all the trouble and needed to make sure that the awakening of the children was a success. Only then would she be able to ponder about her shortcomings and could try to get better.

With Elena encouragement, Beel calmed down and nodded her head with a determined look on her face. Then she got ready for the upcoming battle.
