The man who was creating the parasites was living inside one of the luxurious building located just beside the royal palace of the Diabolus. There was another even stronger barrier protecting the surroundings of the royal palace but Elena again used the same technique as before and this barrier also broke just like the previous one.

Then she immediately entered the mansion where the culprit was and arrive in a large room. There her target was still holding his chest and was shaking in pain. Elena had used the curse with quite some power behind it and even though it was not a deadly curse, the amount of pain that it inflicted was so great that death might sound like a good option to people who were affected by it.

His screaming and shaking was very problematic, so Elena cast a sleeping spell on him. She also dispelled the curse as without doing so, the sleeping spell would not be able to take effect with the all the pain that he was feeling. Then Elena cast a light elemental binding spell on the man and picked him up very easily as if she was handling a little cat.

Then as she was about to leave, a group of about 10 people blocked her way. All of them were demigod rank powerhouses. Just this group alone would be able to destroy 90 percent of the mortal realm's nations. But now they were here to stop just a single person.

The person who was leading the group was a powerful Diabolus with pitch black skin and red horns. His golden eyes were burning with anger as he asked Elena about her identity and ordered her to hand the man over to him. This man was none other than the current ruler of the Diabolus, Martin who was also a level 515 powerhouse.

Elena was not really interested in talking to them. But as they had a lot of people on their side, if they could work together, Elena guessed that they might be able to give her a fun fight. With this hope, she immediately engaged the people in battle without wasting time in exchange of words.

Among the people who had came to fight her, some of them were mages and the rest were warriors. While the warriors came to fight Elena in close quarters combat, the mages cast various buffs on them and then started to give them backline support. The cooperation between the mages and the warriors was not bad. It could be better as it looked like they rarely worked together, but none of them were at least getting in each other's way.

Elena did not use anything else but martial arts to fight all of them. Anyone who came to fight her up close and personal was beaten back easily. As for the spells of the mages, she managed to easily block and parry them with her powerful defensive martial arts technique. So overall she completely dominated the battle even though she was outnumbered.

After getting beaten up again and again, the warriors were unable to move anymore. The Diabolus race had a powerful self healing ability and some of the mages were also providing healing support. But still, the amount of damage that the Elena had done to them was too much and healing that much damage would take a lot of time.

While the warriors were unable to fight anymore, Elena started to attack the mages with her martial arts. Even when Elena was busy taking care of the warriors, the mages were unable to do anything to her. So now that she was actively attacking them, they were completely powerless and soon joined the warrior in having no strength to move after getting beaten up terribly.

After taking care of the Diabolus who had attacked her, Elena simply left. The hole that she had created in the outer barrier was already healed. So she punched out again and created another hole. Then she left through that hole. Seeing this, the mage who just repaired the hole was dumbfounded. He had made sure that the city gates were wide open for her to use. But still she ended up leaving the city by breaking the barrier, giving him more work.

After leaving the city, Elena immediately teleported to the city of the giants, inside the room where Lambra was doing his kingly work. He was extremely surprised by Elena's sudden arrival but was even more surprised when he noticed the sleeping man she was holding in her hand.

That man was someone he was familiar with. He was a research fanatic of the Diabolus race. Normally research fanatics had a good reputation among the strong powerhouses because most of the times, fanatics like them were extremely determined and had a strong heart.

But this fanatic named Lucus had a very bad reputation. That was because his bottom line was non existent and he had several times kidnapped several people from other races and even from his own race for his experiments. There were a lot of people among not just the giants but also the other races who would love to see him dead. But still he was able to keep himself alive because he was brother of the current king of the Diabolus and was protected by him.

After handing him over to Lambra, Elena told him the whole situation and how she had managed to find him. She also handed him the tentacles and the parasites which were valuable proof of his crimes and could be used against him. If Lambra, as the king of the giants killed him without any explanation, the relation of the giants with the other races would become very terrible as Lucus was from a different race. So these proofs were very valuable to him in order to maintain a high moral ground.

After getting his hands on the culprit, Lambra thanked Elena again and again. He was aware that without her help, he would not be able to solve this problem on his own. Lucus was very cautious and had hidden himself very well. So finding him with the giant's magic spells would have been almost impossible.

He did not forget to give Elena the recepies that she was promised. Getting her hands on them, Elena happily started to study them. She was already an expert cook. But still learning more recepies was never a bad thing for her. As Elena got busy checking the recepies, Lambra also got busy in informing his subordinates about what Lucus had done and to prepare to deal with him.

Just like that, two more days passed in the giant royal palace where Elena enjoyed her time by having fun discussion with Escora and Karthe, eating tasty food and learning about the various races that lived in this deepest area of the Ikrovi Wasteland. Then suddenly a messenger from the temple came to inform her that the preparations for her trials was done.
