After this incident with the monster horde was over, Elena said goodbye to all the villagers and left the village. The children were especially sad by this, so before leaving, Elena played with them a lot and gave all the children some gifts.

After leaving the village, she started walking toward to opposite direction from the snow covered forest. According to the village elder, there was nothing but void beyong the snow covered forest and on the opposite end there was a desert. Crossing the desert was also possible to reach the sea.

From this information Elena judged that this dream realm was created in a straight line. One would need to travel from one end to another and the end points would not meet. And from her experiences so far, Elena also judged that in each new region, she would be able to find a new ring.

After walking for about a days, Elena finally reached the desert region. Before her she saw an endless sea of sand. After enjoying the duality of grassland suddenly becoming a desert, Elena stepped foot in the desert.

Just as she had advanced a little bit in the desert, she felt something coming toward her at great speed. Just a few second after that, Elena jumped away from the spot where she was standing and a large worm came out from exactly that spot and tried to swallow her.

After jumping away, Elena took out a sword and cut the monster in three parts. But soon those parts started to move on their own and attacked Elena. It looked like this worm monster was extremely tenacious and had a strong vitality.

Elena did not care about that and continued to slash the monsters again and again. After she had divided them into who knows how many parts, they finally stopped moving.

Elena found this worm to be disgusting so she did not check it too thoroughly. She had already cut it in very small pieces and had not seen any rings, so Elena was sure that the third ring was not with worm monster.

After that she continued her journey and got attacked by the same type of worm monster again and again. It looked like this desert area only had this single type of monster. Elena found that to be very disappointing and she decided to tell the giant elders to not slack off with the monster types of a region.

While walking in the desert and killing the worms whenever they showed up, Elena finally came accross something other than the worms. A group of people were getting attacked by three of these disgusting worms.

Upon getting closer, she noticed that the group that was getting attack was that of a green ogre like gaints. Elena guessed that this was a sub species of the giant race that she had not seen so far. It looked like they were a Caravan carrying various kinds of products.

The group included two male warriors, one female mage and one female priestess. Other than that there was another girl who had a more luxurious clothing. Elena guessed that she was owner of the caravan and the other people were her guards.

Currently, the two warriors and the mage were taking on one of the worms all by their own. And it also looked like that the giant fighters were actually slightly weaker than the worms individually. They had not been defeated so far only because the priestess was very powerful and was giving all three of them a lot of support.

But there was no way for the giants to defeat the worms. Even if they could somehow managed to hurt the worm monster badly, it would still continue fighting with its extremely powerful vitality. And as soon as the priestess ran out of her mana, all three of the other fighter would fall into great disadvantage. So Elena decided to save them.

She immediately took out her sword and attacked the worm monsters. After dealing with so many of them, Elena had gotten very used to taking care of them. So after just a few moment, Elena successfully killed all the worms.

The giants were extremely surprised to see this. They had been fighting the dangerous worm monsters for quite some time and were getting tired. They had very slim chance of Survival. But then a small person came and defeated all the monsters in seconds. This was something that made them amazed.

After taking care of the monsters, Elena came to talk with the giants. From them she came to know that just as she had expected, this caravan belonged to the the lavishly dressed girl. She was the richest merchant of this desert and the four bodyguards she had with her were also some of the strongest of the desert.

Hearing that, Elena looked at the cart that was with them and had only a few items. If this was the standard of the richest merchant, then the gap between poorest and richest would not be very much. Elena also learnt the the worm monsters she had been casually killing were extremely valuable. It's meat was the best delicacy of the desert and it's tough skin could be used to make armours. It's sharp teeths are also a very good material to create weapons. Elena was a big disgusted to learn that these worms were actually food.

So while Elena and the merchant lady named Lavina talked, all four of the guards became busy dismantling the monster. Elena and Lavina talked about many things, specially about business. And Lavina's knowledge in this subject was so poor that even Elena, with her very limited knowledge on this field, found her to be pitiful.

So while journeying with her group, Elena started giving Lavina many advices about how she could improve her business. She also came to know that, Lavina was actually not the "richest" merchant of this desert but instead she was the "only" merchant here.

Elena did not really give Lavina advice with the intention of getting something from her but becasue she found Lavina to be pitiful. They was going toward a village and Elena guessed that she would be finding the ring in that village. But surprisingly, when they reached the gates of the village, Lavina thanked Elena from the bottom of her heart and handed her a silver ring embedded with a beautiful yellow gem.

Elena was very surprised with this turn of event. Getting the third ring was way too easy. Now she did not have any reason to even enter the village. But still, Elena decided to do just that to enjoy the atmosphere of a desert village before going to the sea.

But as soon as she entered, she immediately understood the reason why getting the third ring was so easy. The village was deserted and other than the five people who came with her, there were only two or three more people. But Lavina was acting as if the village was filled with many giants.

It looked whichever elder was in charge of designing the desert area in this dream relam was a super slacker and did a very poor job. This made Elena to chuckle a little bit and then she left the village to visit the sea. She was hoping that the sea would not be as as disappointing as the desert region.
