As Elena was talking with more people to learn more about this mysterious fox, suddenly several fully armed soldiers came toward her. They were holding lightning bolt shaped spears in their hands which were actually of a very good quality.

After coming to Elena, they surrounded her from all sides. Seeing this, the people who were in the area started to look at what was happening with curiosity.

Even when she was surrounded by soldiers, Elena did not show any expression of fear or worry. She just continued to smile slightly which made the expression of the soldiers to be even more grave.

One of the soldier was wearing a more luxurious armour than the rest and it looked like he was the leader of this group. While tightly gripping his spear, he started questioning Elena.

"Miss, you must be someone from the outside of this island but we have no entry record for you. Can you explain yourself ?"

Hearing the question, Elena continued to smile sweetly and answered -

"I'm sorry brave soldier. I came to this island from the eastern side. I did not know that I needed to record myself before entering the island. I'm sorry for the trouble."

Seeing that Elena was cooperative, the head soldier lightly sighed in relief. He could feel that this lady was exceptionally strong so if she became hostile, then that would be a big trouble. That was why he was relieved that they did not ended up fighting each other.

The soldiers had already heard that this beautiful lady here was investigating the mysterious fox, so they were not surprised by her questions. This divine maiden have the blessing of the Goddess of Thunder and she was reason why the thunder never destroyed the mountain. That lady was the one Elena was planning to meet.

As for the reason why Elena wanted to meet the Divine maiden, that was because she had the ability to observe the whole island at once. The soldiers had also asked her help in this investigation but even after checking every nook and cranny of the island, the divine maiden had not managed to find anything.

But there was a possibility that the fox in question had just left the island at that moment either by coincidence or by somehow sensing that it was going to be investigated. Hearing this, Elena told the head soldier that she had some skills that could interfere with the senses of the fox and hearing that the head soldier immediately gave her a token to meet with the shrine maiden.

The top of the mountain only had a single shrine. Two soldiers who were several times stronger than the soldiers below were guarding this place. They looked at Elena with suspicion but when she showed them the tokem given by the head soldier , their suspicion vanished and they allowed her to enter the shrine.

This made Elena quite a bit surprised. The security of this island looked quite lax. As she went further inside the shrine, soon she went inside some kind of barrier. This surprised Elena as she had not noticed this barrier with her current lowered abilities. That proved that this barrier was extremely powerful, capable of isolating someone from the senses of a level 600 powerhouse.

Inside the barrier, Elena sensed the presence of an extremely powerful being, at level 606. It was little girl with a single horn made of purple lightning at the middle of her head. Her while body was filled the the purple pattern that Elena had seen on the faces of other phantom demons.

Just as Elena got closer to the girl, a katana like sword made of purple lightning appeared in the little girl's hand. Then without any warning or word, she swang it toward Elena with her killing intent locking into Elena.
