Zarco was a demigod from the mortal world who had ascended to Valhalla after completing the trials of the dragons. It was one of the rare times when the giants were not in charge of the gate of Valhalla.

He was also among one of the earliest demigods who were guided by the dragons and the elder who was in charge of him had limited experience with controlling the gate.

So he had made a slight error in choosing the destination and Zarco had found himself in a danger zone called the Ocean of Bones. As an alchemist who specialised in treating living beings, the bone creatures of the Ocean of Bones were troublesome enemies for him.

So Zarco struggled against them for over a hundred years and finally managed to escape this hellhole. But in that process, he suffered from several terrible injuries and one particular injury among the was extra troublesome.

He got this injury from and elder lich and it had corroded his body with a very dangerous death energy. While Zarco had managed to prevent the spreading of this energy with his knowledge as a demigod rank alchemist, he had never managed to find a complete solution.

So to find a solution to this, Zarco became a maniac after his escape and started to experiment on various subjects all with a single wish which was to get rid of this corrosion.

After a lot of research and sacrifice of an insane number of people, he managed to come with a few solutions. Among them, a type of stone called the Thunder Purification Stone had an amazing restraining effect on the death energy.

But this Thunder Purification stone was unfortunately not strong enough and if he could find something of a higher grade, Zarco was sure that he would definitely be able to solve this long lasting problem of his.

Then when he had started searching for that kind of item, he came to know about something called Thunder Divine Stone which could be found in the Inazuyan Archipelago.

From all the information he had found about this stone, it was definitely a stronger version of the Thunder Purification stone. And only the high ranking representatives and adminstrators had a chance of getting their hands on these stones. But as an outsider it was extremely hard, almost impossible for him to join the ranks of adminstrators.

That was why Zarco joined the Thunder Destroyer Guild in order to forcefully take over the Inazuyan Archipelago. With his poisons and various other alchemical products, he had killed thousands of people and their deaths were extremely cruel. For all this cruelty, Zarco had gotten the title of "Mad Alchemist".

On a small island just outside the large Nimfera Island, Hikaru was waiting patiently with a happy smile on his face. Getting the privilege to meet with a powerful demigod was not something that everyone could hope to get.

Soon a person appeared before him wearing a black hood that covered his whole body. With his powerful aura as a demigod, he was also giving off the aura of even stronger death energy from his body. This made him and extremely scary person for anyone.

When Hikaru had met him for the first time, he was extremely scared and almost wet his pants. But after meeting him several times after that experience, he was at least able to keep his bladder in control now.

He respectfully greeted to the man in black hood and greeted -

"Thank you lord Zarco for making this trip. We will soon be able to destroy all the Pure Thunderbolt Trees of this island with your powerful medicine."

Hearing that Zarco nodded his head and handed him a box. Hikaru reverently took the box and stored it inside his spatial ring. Then he bowed again and was about to leave but before he could do that Zarco called out to him.

"I need some living samples of the Pure Thunderbolt Trees for my research. So when I'm here for the next transaction, I want at least 30 complete trees, with their roots intact."

This request of 30 trees with intact roots was not easy to fulfil but Hikaru did not have the courage or authority to reject a direct order given by a demigod. So he again bowed his head and promised to do his best to fulfill this mission.

Seeing that Zarco nodded his head again and immediately Hikaru left the island. His good mood was now gone and instead worry filled his heart. Zarco had noticed this change in emotion but he did not care and tried to leave this small island.

But just as he was about to leave, suddenly he felt that something was wrong. Even though everything around him looked normal, he had a feeling that something was seriously wrong.

He immediately took out a deep purple coloured potion from his pockets and threw it on the ground to break the vial. Immediately a purple coloured mist surrounded him and then with a sound of something breaking, the view around him did not change at all. But four individual appeared before him who were not there just a few moments ago.

"Ora, as expected of the mad alchemist. You managed to break out of my illusion in no time. That is truly impressive."

A sweet female voice said this. I'm reply, a harsh male voice spoke up -

"Heh, if someone as famous as this guy could not even break out of a simple illusion like this, then I would have been extremely disappointed. Now I can at least hope for a good battle."

The remaining man also spoke up -

"Let's not waste our time in idle conversation and let's finish him off. Giving him time to plan his escape would not be a good news for us."

Hearing that both of the other people nodded and took action. Only Elena did not say anything and was silent.

Kizuna was the first to make her move. She activated a skill called Phantasm Domain and immediately the whole small island got filled with pink and white mist. It created a dreamy environment where anyone below the demigod rank would immediately fell under Kizuna's control.

But that was not all. After activating her domain, Kizuna also used two other skill called "Summon Thunder Emperor Beast" and "Summon Grand Elemental Spirit". Immediately a sparrow clad in blue lightning and a purple ball of electricity appeared. Both of them were at level 410.

As for the other two people, one of them activated a skill called "Thunderstorm Armour" and immediately he became an impressive looking knight wearing a purple full plate armour with two purple wings on his back. He also had a purple spear with a dragon's head. With the activation of this skill, his stats became much higher than his normal form.

As for the last person, he used a skill called Lightning Beast Transformation. He was a mix blood between a Thunder Emperor Ape and a Lightning Phantom Demon very similar to Kizuna. With his transformation done, he was at least twice as stronger than his regular self.

Just like this, all three of the demigod rank powerhouses attacked the mad alchemist at once. Would he be able to defend against that ?
