"Lucian Rokka - 1189"

This was the name of the highest scorer for the second phase. Colette was again second with an impressive score of 1151. Shuri's score was nowhere near her previous test's score as it was only 790. Rose had an even worse score which was only 473. Even tho these scores might look very bad if compared to their previous scores, they were still able to have a place in the top 20. Shuri was ranked 8th and Rose was ranked 19th.

Shuri was a little sad about her score but she knew that she didn't have much combat experience. So she didn't mind it much and thought of it as something she needed to improve in the future. She congratulated Colette and was trying to soothe Rose who was sad as she was falling behind her two friends. They suddenly heard someone shouting. When they looked at the direction from where the noise was coming from they saw about 8-10 noble participants confronting a teacher.

"We believe there is something wrong with the scores given by the puppets. How can a nobody get better scores than us."

"Yes, and the person in the second position is blind. She can't even fight then how could her scores be so high."

"We demand justice. We want the headmistress to apologise to us for creating such faulty puppets."

Shuri could identify some of the noble boys, like the person who was trying to pick a fight with her, or the person called Issei Claus who was good with swords. As soon as they tried to question the headmistress, her beloved elder sister, Shuri suddenly lost all her reservation she had for the nobility. She was just going to protest but even before that she saw all the teachers and some of the students looking at the noble boys with palpable hostility and even killing intent.

But they were just showing hostility but didn't do anything to them. But someone in the field had a very low tolerance for anything related to Elena. Shuri suddenly saw a pure white ball flying toward the students. A few of them tried to resist the light ball using their sword art and magic but that ball of light disintegrated everything on its path. One noble who was trying to take something out of this storage ring found a dagger touching his neck and all the nobles were hit with a killing intent so strong that they almost peed in their pants.

The nobles moved away from the light ball to barely dodge it but then probably because she was angry and exited Colette opened her eyes a bit. As soon as that happened, nobles who were in front of her eyes felt like they suddenly died. But then everything suddenly became calm and they found a beautiful lady with big breasts and golden hair standing in the middle of the room.

She was releasing a kind of invisible pressure that froze everyone. It was not killing intent or hostility they were feeling from Elena, but they felt that they were all inferior being looking at a superior one. She was making them feel that their existence was very insignificant in front of her. Elena first went to Colette and lightly bonked her on her forehead.

"I told you many times to not open your eyes even if you're angry, didn't I?"

"Mmm, sorry mother goddess."

Hearing her apologise she then patted her head and said -

"How many did I tell you to not call me mother goddess?"

Colette didn't reply and just turned her face while enjoying her head pats. Seeing that Elena didn't continue scolding her and told her -

"Be sure to never open your eyes when you're not with me. Okay? It is very dangerous before you can control this power. And thank you for getting angry for me."

Colette just nodded her head indicating that she understood. Then Elena went toward the boy with red hair and green eyes. His face had a scar running down on his chick.

"Not releasing your killing intent and controlling it was part of your training and the assignment I gave you. What do you think will happen now that you have failed it, Lucian?"

The boy named Lucian instantly kneeled and said -

"I was just too excited about getting a chance to have a satisfying fight and then to become the top scorer I lost my control a bit. Please show mercy, boss."

Elena pinched Lucian's check and told him -

"First of all, I'm not your boss. Okay? And I am going to punish you a bit after the exam, that's for sure. But as you get angry for my sake I will be a bit merciful and lessen the punishment a bit."

"Ohh, boss lady is the best. Don't worry boss lady, this Lucian will take on any punishment you will give me."

Elena didn't even try to correct him anymore and went toward the average looking boy who was still holding a dagger to the throat of a noble boy.

"Andric, you can let him go now."

As soon as Elena said that he removed the dagger from the throat of the boy.

"Umm, don't worry. You did well pacifying him and stopping him from taking that thing out. Your sixth sense and intuition is improving and I'm happy about it. Keep it up."

The boy, Andric didn't say anything and just bowed toward Elena. Then Elena faced the noble boys who were trying to create a farce.

"You see, I believe myself to be a very mild mannered person. I don't normally antagonise anyone as I find that to be beneath myself. But that doesn't mean I am a pushover, okay. I know it's been two months or so, but did you all really forget about the clean up I did? This is really troubling, I made a show out of that only because I wanted to warn people like you all to not get too cocky in front of me."

"I know you all don't really understand what you did wrong and how just questioning the validity of someone's score gets you all into this mess. As I said, I will let you all observe the battle of top scorers to show you why they got such a high score."

Elena clicked her fingers and three screens appeared behind her showing the fight of Lucian, Colette and Andric.

"As you all can see, Colette has a very high firepower with her special light magic and she destroyed the puppets three times getting 300 points for each destruction. And the extra 251 points she got because she managed her time of attack very well and when the enemy was too strong for her she was still able to block it for quite a while."

"I don't really need to explain anything about Lucian's fight. As you can see even tho he doesn't have insane firepower, his experience in combat surpasses everyone except me here, including the teachers. He lasted the longest and even managed to destroy the puppet twice even without insane firepower."

"And as you all can see or some can't see, Andric is an expert assassin and he was able to assassinate the puppet 3 times so he got a high score. I hope you all don't have any more questions about the scoring."

Then she pointed at some of the noble students and told them -

"To be honest, your families were trying to harass me for quite a while. But I found their attempts to be quite funny instead of problematic so I didn't do anything. And I think today's attempt was also funny. But as my disciples felt bad about it I'll give them a little warning again. After you all return home tell your parents that I will soon come for a little fun visit. Understood?"

All the noble boys who were scared out of their wits replied "Yes."

"Good. Then continue with the final phase of the test."

Saying so she disappeared. And the final phase that was a hurdle race where the participants had to use their combat skills and quick thinking to face the hurdles. It finished without a hitch and Lucian took first place again in this test. Shuri also did well and was able to take 4th place even tho she wasn't very fit physically but her summons made it easier for her. Colette was not able to maintain her streak of coming second as she took 5th position in this test. Rose also tried her best to get the 10th position. Andric came in second here with his impressive performance.

Like that the admission tests for the combat division came to an end and it was declared that the results would be announced tomorrow. So all the participants went home, some with relaxed mind as they were sure to pass, some with tension as they were not sure about their chances and some scared stiff like the noble boys.
