As soon as the spell was completely activated, suddenly all the monsters started to act weirdly. The goblin started to thrust it's hips out of nowhere with an ecstatic look on its face, it was quite a bizzare scene.
Just like the goblin, the orc also had a pleased expression on its face and it was also thrusting it's hips. But at the same time, the orc was also groping one of the fruit floating around him and was sucking on a special looking flower.
As for the warewolf, it suddenly started eating the flowers located all around him. And he was doing that with a happy and satisfied smile on its face. Looking at this scene, one would think that a warewolf was a herbivorous being, which was definitely not the case.
The situation of the ogre was quite different. It was looking extremely serious and was swinging it's weapons around like a madman. It had nothing before it but it looked like as if it was facing off against a mighty opponent.
It was clear that all of them were under some kind of illusion. Only the troll was able to somewhat resist it. It was lying on the ground while holding its head. So even though it was able to resist the effect of the spell, it was struggling to maintain the resistance.
...
The condition of the animal type monsters were a little better than the humanoid ones. The monkey was drinking sap from a flower which was actually a potent poison. If the monkey continued to do so, it would soon be completely paralysed.
The snake was chasing after its own tail with a ferocious glint in its eyes. Who knew what kind of rivalry was this snake having with its own tail.
The bull was the mindlessly running all over the arena. It was not targetting anything and was just running around aimlessly. But as it was using some kind of self harming skill while running so it was getting more and more tired as it continued to run.
As for the tiger, just like the Troll, it was able to somewhat resist the spell but not completely. It was also lying on the ground while closing its eyes and enduring a strong pain.
But there was one creature who had managed to perfectly resist this effect of the grand spell. It was the dragon. It was only confused for a couple for second before breaking out of whatever illusion it was seeing.
So far, as Elena's role in this battlefield was that of an object, no one had attacked her. All the ministers had completely ignored her existence. But now that Elena had become the core of the spell that was creating trouble for all the monsters, the dragon had suddenly decided to take care of Elena first to solve this problem.
Even though this dragon here was a powerhouse above the level of 7200, it was actually just a newly born being. So even though it was given some knowledge about various things by the will of the world, this dragon still was very very inexperienced.
Even though Elena was being treated like an item here, she was actually not an item and calling her an item was a figure of speech. It was a very clear thing. But not for the dragon. It had genuinely thought that Elena was truly an item and had decided to destroy her first.
Was this a wrong decision ? The answer to that would be yes in this circumstances. But it could have been a correct decission in a different situation.
But this made Elena to fall into a difficult situation. According to her thoughts, as she was attacked first, it should be perfectly fine if she fought back. But if she did so, there was a chance that Rosalie would fail the trial because of the interference from an outside source. So after thinking about it a little, Elena decided to play with the role of an indestructible item and nothing else. This way, she would not be directly interfering with the trial but still managing to help Rosalie out a little.
...
Currently Rosalie was inside a closed Lotus flower. It was some kind of special healing plus buffing magic that needed quite some time to be completed. If the dragon had attacked her during this period, this spell would have been interrupted. But fortunately for Rosalie, the dragon had stupidly decided to go after Elena and not her.
Taking advantage of this opportunity, Rosalie quickly completed her buffing process. Actually this dragon had turned out to be stronger than what she had expected. It breaking through her illusion in such a short period of time was outside ger her calculation.
...
But with a slight assistance from the all mighty luck, she had somehow managed to survive this miscalculated situation too. Now that she was done with her buffing, Rosalie was confident in taking on the dragon too.
This "Garden Sanctuary of Eternal Flower Goddess" was not just a spell that could create illusion. It was actually one of its most basic function that Rosalie had strengthen quite a lot because that was the exact function that she needed the most for this trial.
But now that three of the targets had managed to withstand it, she was going to use the killing function of the spell on then next.
Rosalie was not a fool and stubborn person. She truly wanted to get all ten of the monsters under her control but three had managed to escape her grasp.
Immediately she had realised that trying to control them would not be possible for her anymore and trying to do so forcefully would increase the risk of her failing the trial by a large margin.
That was why, Rosalie immediately decided to give up and kill these three. Seven monsters would be more than good enough for her to pass the trial with flying colours.
As soon as she activated the killing function of the spell, several extremely powerful plant monsters appeared and started attacking the tiger, the troll and the dragon. All of these plants were not above the level of 7000 but all of them had some kind of special abilities which were able to hurt even a level 7000 plus being.
This attack was enough to kill the troll and the tiger. As soon as they realised that their life was at risk, they fought back with all their might. But still it was not enough to defeat the gang of specialised plant monsters.
The broken self healing of the troll was blocked by one such plant and the tiger was killed by throwing more than a hundred such plants on it.
But still, Rosalie was unable to defeat the dragon this way. It had some kind of domain like ability and as soon as any plant entered that domain, they were utterly destroyed.
The the dragon again launched a breath attack on Rosalie and this time, the attack was even stronger as the dragon was feeling very angry.
So would Rosalie be able to withstand this or she would actually fail this trial ?
