This being cursed a person very discretely and then it could take over that person's body through this curse slowly but surely. Then the cursed person would become something like an avatar or puppet of this being.

And as this lifeform was a powerhouse above the level of 8000, there was almost nothing that someone from a legendary grade world could do to stop it. That was also why Oss could do nothing but to seal Osmund and ask help from a level 9000 plus powerhouse.

As for why Elena did not immediately killed the beast, that was because she wanted to do a few experiments with it. Finding a test subject with this level of power was quite rare. So Elena felt that it would be very boring if she just killed the lifeform without testing a few things out on it.

Even after coming back to this world, Oss had not noticed anything. The concealment power of this curse user was truly impressive.

So both of them only managed to notice it when it was too late. By then the curse had taken root in his body and soul. Oss was unable to get rid of it even after using her authority as a will of the world.

So the only thing that she was able to do was to froze the body in suspended time. That way even though his curse situation did not improve, it did not deteriorate either. Then Oss continued to search for any and all kind of solution.

The current extreme state of this world was also the result of this. Oss wanted result at the fastest possible rate. That was why she had used this extreme method which was actually not the best method for a long term development.

It was obviously not a good thing. Oss had actually prioritised her duty as a wife before her duties as a will of a legendary grade world.

But Elena did not blame Oss for this. A Maiden in love was just this determined. And as this world was basically her own body, it was fine for Oss to do whatever she wanted with it and even taking a few risks.
