The evening dinner hosted by Elena was going on peacefully until her secretary August entered the hall to give Elena an important message. After hearing the message Elena told everyone to enjoy the party and she had to leave them early due to some sudden important work. Then she left the hall.

The news Elena got from August was that a messenger from another institution of a different country wanted to have an audience with Elena about a collaboration. Elena was also somewhat interested in it as it would increase the prestige of Myrilia Royal Academy and as soon as Elena could make the academy a better place, she would be able to leave the post of headmistress.

"Miss Elena, I'm Leonard Soviet. I'm a dean of the Riplanica Higher Institution. The principal had sent me to you for a collaboration. We, along with University of Sousion from the Danclesiv kingdom and Sky Parade Academy from the Tang nation are planning this collaboration. We also want to invite the Myrilia Royal Academy to join us."

"I'm Elena, the new headmistress of this academy. Hmm. I see. That is interesting indeed. But, first I need to know more details about the collaboration. Can you tell me more about what you had planned."

"Yes, please take a look at this."

Leonard handed Elena a thin booklet. After going through it she understood the plan these institutions were cooking. She handed the booklet back and said in a calm voice -

"Umm, this is indeed a fascinating proposal but I don't understand one thing. Could you explain it to me, mister Leonard?"

Looking at the serene smile Elena was giving him he was sweating a bit.

"I will do my best."

"What I don't understand is, what benefits are there for your institution to share the dungeon with others?"

Hearing the question was on this topic, Leonard heaved a sigh of relief as he had a solid answer ready for this question.

"Actually, our nation is mostly dependent on trading to sustain ourselves. So, our institution is also mostly created to educate merchants. So we have a lack of combat personnel. And the academy didn't want to share the benefits of the dungeon with other organisations of the nation."

Elena understood that the man was spouting bullshit but she didn't tell him anything about it. She also hatched a plan of her own to benefit from this situation.

"To be honest, I'm really interested in this collaboration. Could you inform me about the dates of this program? I need to make preparations."

"Yes yes. We are planning on starting the expedition on the 20th of the next month. So after about 25 days or so. We would also like to request you to bring students from different grades as a dungeon expedition will benefit all of them. Alongside miss who is a S ranker we will also send at least three of our A or B rank teachers inside. They will also be the ones who will actually clear the dungeon."

"Hmm, it will be a little hard to prepare everything in this short amount of time but as the Riplanica Higher Institution is showing their goodwill it will be rude to not accept."

Actually the Riplanica Higher Institution discovered a dungeon close to its territory. But it was very close to the border of the Hosei Beast kingdom so they were forced to keep the dungeon a secret. The academy also didn't give enough manpower to conquer the dungeon without moving its stronger assets but doing so would allow the Hosei kingdom to suspect something and that would be bad for the Riplanica Republic.

So they were forced to ask the help of outside forces as they had some bad blood with some of the forces from their own country. Then with other nations also sending strong individuals inside the dungeon it would not be weird for the institution to also do so. This was the story that the institution wanted others to believe. But Elena felt something fishy while she was having that discussion. So she didn't want to take chances with the students safety so she used her abilities to learn the actual story.

The actual story was a little scary and very disturbing. Actually the Riplanica Higher Institution did find a dungeon and they managed to clear it. At the final floor of the dungeon they actually found an altar. This altar had the special function of allowing 5 individuals to cross the S rank.

But for that they also needed to sacrifice 5 extremely talented people who were less than 18 years old to the altar. But the institution was not able to find enough extreme talents. Actually they only managed to find two. Then they thought of a plan to invite other education institutions from different countries to the dungeon and to use their students as sacrifice.

The main reason why they wanted to invite Elena was because the dungeon was actually quite hard to clear. Last time the institution had to ask three A rank adventurer teams to work together to barely clear the dungeon. So they wanted to have the help of a S rank adventurer like Elena this time.

They had also made plans to kill her off when five of their teachers would become S rankers. They believed that with five S rank powerhouses it would be very easy to kill another S rank powerhouse who also just ascended recently.

But they were not sure if inviting only Myrilia Royal Academy would be enough to gather five extremely talented students, so they planned to add two more organisations into the calculation to be sure of their success.
