Realm of Infinity

Chapter 62: Solaris Prime

Noah appeared in front of the creature and stopped calmly.

Compared to the planet-sized behemoth, he looked insignificant, like an ant standing before a mountain.

"What is he thinking?" one of the old men said sharply. "Standing right in its attack path? He will be pulverized if even one hit lands on him."

"Maybe he is confident," another said, narrowing his eyes. "Look at his expression. He does not look afraid at all. Maybe he is hiding his true strength."

Noah heard them clearly, but he did not respond.

His gaze was fixed on the massive forelimb descending toward him at full speed. Space warped under the pressure of the strike. The force alone was enough to tear continents apart.

Noah raised his index finger and pressed it forward.

His finger met the behemoth's paw.

The collision released a violent surge of energy. Space shattered outward like rippling glass. The five old men were forced to activate their energy shields immediately, barely managing to block the shockwave.

"Is he insane?" one of them shouted. "Why would he take that attack head-on?"

They were the five ancestors of the Carter family of the Solaris Supreme Empire.

They had come here to kill this Void Behemoth because the current family patriarch was a once-in-a-lifetime genius, standing at the edge of a breakthrough to the Legend level. To ensure his success, they intended to gift him the behemoth's core.

The Law of Space was considered a supreme law. A breakthrough using it granted nearly five hundred times amplification, far beyond the usual two hundred.

When they had first noticed Noah calmly observing the battle and casually enduring the residual shockwaves, they assumed he was a powerful ally.

Now, it seemed they had misjudged him completely.

Then they saw it.

Noah stood exactly where he had been, completely unharmed.

His finger had stopped the attack.

Not deflected. Not redirected.

Stopped.

His eyes were as calm as ever, without the slightest fluctuation.

"Alright," Noah said flatly. "You can die now. I do not have time to waste."

He lightly tapped the behemoth's paw.

At first, nothing happened.

Then cracks appeared across the massive limb. Blood poured out through the fractures as the structure collapsed from within.

Within seconds, the destruction spread through the creature's entire body.

The Void Behemoth disintegrated completely.

It died instantly.

Noah turned to the five old men.

"Take your asset and fulfill your deal."

The ancestors were frozen in shock.

What had they just witnessed?

Who was this man?

Was he a supreme cultivator from some ancient hidden lineage, or did he come from a primordial empire that existed only in legends?

"Yes, sir," the oldest ancestor said hurriedly. "Thank you. From today onward, you are the supreme guest of the Carter family."

Noah said nothing.

He watched silently as they harvested the remains of the behemoth with extreme care. Finally, one of them extracted a glowing crystal core from the remains.

"Let me see it," Noah said.

The core flew into his hand.

He closed his eyes and analyzed it.

To his mild surprise, the core truly carried fragments of the Law of Space. The effect was far weaker than the Realm of Infinity, but it was genuine and usable.

This gave him direction.

If law comprehension sites were unavailable, he would hunt creatures aligned with different laws instead.

The five ancestors sealed the remaining materials into spatial rings. Their movements were stiff, as if their minds had not yet caught up with reality.

Noah stood nearby, his presence completely restrained. Even so, to them he felt like a bottomless abyss. Calm, silent, and impossible to measure.

A massive spatial gate opened in the void. Complex runes shimmered across its surface as the teleportation array activated.

"Please, sir," the oldest ancestor said respectfully. "Allow us to escort you to the Carter family estate."

Noah nodded and stepped through without hesitation.

Space twisted violently. Layers of reality folded and unfolded before stabilizing.

They arrived above a vast planet bathed in golden starlight.

Floating continents drifted across the sky, connected by glowing energy bridges. Cities built from crystal steel and ancient alloys covered the surface, each protected by advanced defensive formations.

This was Solaris Prime, the core world of the Solaris Supreme Empire.

An artificial sun burned at the planet's core, maintained through spatial compression and advanced energy engineering. Dozens of orbital rings surrounded the planet, housing cities, academies, military facilities, and energy harvesters. Bright traffic lanes crossed the void like structured rivers of light.

Noah slowed slightly as he observed everything.

"Impressive engineering," he said.

The oldest ancestor exhaled in relief. "Solaris Prime is the heart of the empire. It took more than twelve thousand years to build."

They descended toward a mountain range rising above the clouds. At its peak stood a vast complex of black and silver structures.

The Carter family headquarters.

Before they landed, the sky filled with figures.

Dozens turned into hundreds. Elders, guards, researchers, and core members hovered respectfully in formation. Their expressions ranged from curiosity to barely concealed shock.

A tall man stepped forward. He looked to be in his forties. His presence was powerful, but unstable, like a system operating at its limit without breaking through.

"This is the family patriarch," the oldest ancestor said. "Carter Leon."

Leon bowed deeply. "Thank you, sir, for assisting our ancestors. The Carter family will never forget this debt."

Noah glanced at him briefly.

"Your energy foundation is unstable," Noah said. "Saturate it completely before attempting to comprehend the Law of Space. Come to me after that. I will help you."

Leon froze.

Then he bowed again, deeply. "Thank you, sir."

Noah said nothing more and followed them inside.

A residence was prepared immediately. It floated above a lake of condensed energy, protected by environmental stabilizers and layered defensive systems.

From a technological perspective, it was flawless.

From Noah's perspective, it was inefficient.

With minimal movement, he adjusted three spatial anchors.

Energy circulation efficiency increased by over thirty percent instantly.

The Carter engineers monitoring the systems nearly panicked, then stared in disbelief.

Over the next several days, Noah remained within the estate.

He did not isolate himself completely. He walked through the compound, observed training sessions, and spoke briefly with researchers. He listened more than he talked.

The Carter family quickly realized he had no interest in titles or flattery.

He asked precise questions.

"How do you locate law-aligned entities?"

"What are the limitations of your spatial scans?"

"How frequently do natural void distortions appear in this sector?"

Each question forced them to reassess assumptions they had never challenged.

Meanwhile, Noah continued strengthening himself.

Attribute points accumulated steadily.

This universe was weaker than the Realm of Infinity, but growth was still growth.

He refined his body at the molecular level. He expanded his soul's processing capacity. He optimized the way his consciousness interacted with external laws.

There was no urgency.

One evening, the five ancestors arrived together.

"We have completed our investigation," the oldest said. "There is no confirmed information about the Primordial Empires."

Noah nodded. "Legends?"

"Only fragments," another replied. "They are said to exist in isolated dimensional layers, beyond conventional space. Their territories cannot be detected unless they allow it."

"Some believe they govern laws directly," another added. "Others think they left the universe long ago."

Noah absorbed the information calmly.

"And law comprehension sites?"

"There are regions with abnormal law concentration," the oldest said, projecting a map. "They attract entities formed from those laws."

"These monsters will suffice," Noah said. "Send me coordinates as they appear."

The ancestors hesitated.

"May we ask something?" the oldest said carefully.

Noah looked at him.

"Why pursue laws further when your strength is already so overwhelming?"

"Because strength without understanding is unstable," Noah replied. "I am building something that requires precision."

They did not understand, but they did not question him again.

While Noah remained with the Carter family, Earth was changing.

Thin cosmic energy permeated the solar system. It interacted with Earth's magnetic field, atmosphere, and biosphere.

Pollution decreased without explanation. Diseases weakened. Plants adapted rapidly. Animals displayed heightened intelligence and coordination.

Humans began to change.

Athletes broke records. Children learned at abnormal speeds. Some individuals developed heightened perception and unexplained physical abilities.

The Ashford family noticed immediately.

Inside a sealed command chamber above a classified orbital platform, Ashford executives argued intensely.

"This cannot continue," an old woman said. "The planet is awakening."

"Our control depends on stagnation," another replied. "If Earth evolves freely, we lose it."

The patriarch slammed his hand down. "Find the source. This energy is not natural."

Sensors scanned space. Algorithms traced anomalies backward.

"All vectors point outward," a technician said quietly. "An external variable."

Silence followed.

"Can we remove it?"

"No," the technician replied. "Not directly."

The patriarch's face darkened. "Then suppress the effects."

Orders were issued.

Suppression arrays activated.

Energy siphons deployed.

But suddenly every system went silent.

No explosion. No warning.

Screens went black.

In deep space, Noah lowered his hand.

He had not destroyed anything. He had simply used his robots to hack their system.

The Ashford systems no longer had permission to function.

He observed Earth briefly.

"Too early," he said.

He stabilized the energy flow, allowing gradual adaptation without triggering uncontrolled evolution.

Then he left.

Back on Solaris Prime, Noah resumed his routine.

He hunted law-aligned monsters across multiple sectors. Each encounter was brief. Each one refined his understanding.

His internal framework became increasingly precise.

Carter Leon eventually broke through successfully.

He visited Noah personally.

"I succeeded because of your guidance," Leon said. "The Carter family owes you everything."

"You succeeded because you listened," Noah replied.

Leon hesitated. "If you ever require anything…"

"I will ask."
