Supreme Summoner Overlord: Rise of the Endless Legion

Chapter 288: The Monster's Status

The forest stretched below them like an emerald sea. For seven days, the three had flown above the treetops, which were so dense they formed rolling waves of green and brown.

They hadn't seen a single human soul, nor a vendor, since leaving the valley where Mikko Viren had died.

<Let's rest a little.>

The others nodded, as they were as worn out as he was.

They brought the ravens down to the ground, and once there, Reidar sat against a stone. He then opened his status.

The numbers were impressive, yet Reidar knew they weren't enough. Silas was level 370—maybe even stronger now. But there was nothing they could do about it. They could only move forward and hunt.

<Level 337.>

The influx of C.L.A.S.P. points from Viren and the 21 monsters they hunted on the way had been a deluge.

He glanced at his companions.

—[Lena Merridon—Level 325]—

—[Jake Roberts—Level 310]—

They were growing too. The level gap that usually separated survivors was widening into a chasm between his team and the rest of the world. They were apex predators walking through a world of sheep.

It wasn't just that, but several of his skills had hit 100% proficiency during the battle with Viren. The System had offered evolutions, and some of them even merged for some reason. The results were astonishing, but nothing that would take a short amount of time to go through.

Besides, Reidar was focused on two skills, in particular.

He focused on the first one. Summon Feral Pack was gone. It had been his bread and butter for months, but it had reached its limit. In its place sat something far more terrifying.

It was a significant upgrade. The mana cost was high, but the creatures scaled to his level perfectly. Besides, they got more skills, and he also got two new variants, while the older ones were still there.

He scrolled down to the next evolved skill of interest. His Vorathid Foragers, the tiny spies and swarmers that had served him so well, had also changed.

—[« END »]—

The change was serious. Their levels were now just 5 levels below his; they had gained many skills, and their duration had increased from two hours to five. But the best part wasn't any of that—it was the fact that these were tier 31 creatures.

They were going to be massively useful, to the point that they could actually become his main troops. The only problem was that they weren't titans, and while they were tier 31 creatures of high level, they were still weaker compared to the monsters he was fighting now.

It was not like an ant battling a human anymore, but rather a dog doing so.

<Yeah… it's a good comparison.>

A dog could kill a human, but if a human got serious, there was no chance for the dog to survive.

Reidar closed the interface. The tools were there. Now he just needed a target.

"The ground is shaking," Jake said.

Reidar looked down as the pebbles at his feet began to vibrate.
