The Star Soul remained silent and did not confirm. Li Ang thought it had a rather proud demeanor, so he directly started to recall the language from before.

He uttered the sentence based on the pronunciation he remembered. His throat couldn't replicate the Crimson Demon's eerie tone, which seemed to echo across time and space. However, it still made the young girls around him recall the feeling and show discomfort on their faces.

The Celestial Dragon murmured, "That venomous tone, those corrupt syllables, have not been heard since she passed away a long time ago, yet they still remind us that the blight of this world persists."

After a sigh, the giant dragon said, "This sentence translates to—'Why do the rebels gather here, you will meet a painful death.'

"Is that so."

Li Ang nodded: "This was what the demon said when it appeared and saw several of the girls."

Combining what the Thunderstorm Star Soul said earlier, the source of their special powers once opposed the Crimson Demon.

Upon understanding the meaning of the words, the girls leaned closer to Li Ang.

"The second sentence is—"

Since the demon used Spiritual Manipulation halfway through the second sentence to speak in the current common language of Nebis, only the first half was spoken in Demonic language.

Upon finishing this sentence, the dragon's murmurs became heavier.

"Earlier, it was I who misunderstood you.

The Fallen spoke these words—The awakened Spiritual Forger, it turns out…"

The Star Soul looked at Li Ang: "The fallen words you conveyed end here."

Li Ang resisted analyzing the content mentioned within these words and first recalled the demon's latter half of the sentence to piece together the complete sentence.

"'The awakened Spiritual Forger, it turns out you were gathering them, you are the anomaly.'

He and his adjacent companions chuckled: "The demon said this line at the time; no wonder it shifted its attack from you all to me."

Zoe immediately grabbed Li Ang's left hand, her gaze occasionally darting to the thorn, wanting to touch it, yet a bit fearful.

"Was it because of me that I burdened you, brother?" ALulu said quietly.

The Thunderstorm Celestial Dragon set its sights on Xiaoniu.

"No, you all possess extraordinary potential," Li Ang promptly said.

Though they occasionally raised some vexing questions.

"Just be mindful of the occasion when speaking or acting…"

Li Ang's primary focus lay on the canary-haired half elf and the self-proclaimed slave, White Wolf. The latter lifted her chin in response to his gaze, seemingly not comprehending his meaning, while the former, who had been worriedly watching his elbow, averted her eyes.

"What is a Spiritual Forger?" Elaphia asked.

The petite blonde girl brought the topic back on track.

"I do not know either," said the Celestial Dragon.

Nevertheless, having experienced eons, perhaps it had some understanding of human professional skills, so it offered its conjecture.

"From its name, it is similar to the Fallen. They manipulate Spirituality, using the power of Spirits to alter the essence of all things. You are also employing such methods."

The Thunderstorm Star Soul stared at Li Ang.

The blondie Douding nodded as if expecting this, looking at Li Ang: "I suspected that someone who could fully match with me couldn't be an ordinary person."

She seemed somewhat proud.

Indeed, as she said, after her Spiritual Activation ended, she appeared unaffected, with her Magic Power and Spiritual activity returning to normal levels, showing no signs of weakness.

Li Ang sighed at the beast-eared maiden: "You…sigh, you have it wrong."

He then added: "It's not necessarily the best for now; it's just that I've had some achievements pilfering from the demon, and it wasn't in vain getting beaten by that Six-armed Demon twice."

The Thunderstorm Celestial Dragon asked: "Did you master the Stasis Technique based on the demon's methods?"

"Yes."

"The profession bearing the name of Curse Art, I have had interactions with them," the Ancient Dragon exhaled clouds, slowly narrating a piece of history.

When contending against the Crimson Demon, some extraordinarily gifted individuals thought that since anyone below Legendary found it hard to withstand the demon's bizarre methods, they might as well attempt to steal its power.

Therefore, they tried to mimic and learn from the demons, simulating what demons could achieve with some Magic. As the methods looked similarly bizarre to those of demons, they were dubbed witches by the ancients.

"So the lineage of this profession is that long-standing, somewhat akin in duration to our race's Blade Masters," said Elaphia.

The time she mentioned piqued Li Ang's curiosity, but it wasn't the moment to ask her.

"If it were a complete profession, the witch should have some other methods, right?"

Li Ang said: "Enhancing Aifei's Magic is what I developed myself. This profession is widely known only to simply guide and control the Spirituality within equipment and materials."

"The battle was long and enduring. Where the witches fought later or what crises they encountered, I do not know. Just speculating from the demons' temperament, they wouldn't allow mortals to steal their power.
