Find a Troubled Girl after leaving the Guild

Chapter 165: Oathbreaker’s Vengeance Thornlance (Part 2)

The fifth one is called Zen Heart Flowing, and it's currently in the hands of the Dome Furnace Association. It was created in Ernest's later years, after he became a true Divine Artisan. Not only is it the last sword forged by Ernest, but it is also the last piece of equipment he made.

"Did you notice? Each of the Five Swords was created with long gaps in between, symbolizing significant periods in Ernest's life.

"They weren't made all at once, and when he was crafting the last sword, aside from leaving the Passionate Talent to his wife, he no longer had the other three swords in his possession."

Elaphia shook her head: "So, it's impossible that he set up some mechanism on the Five Swords before his death, enabling them to open the studio door. There's intrigue behind this rumor.

"But since it involves Ernest, there are still many people who want to collect the Divine Artisan's Five Swords. This matter is like an open conspiracy standing before everyone.

"The hardest one has already been found, and if there's a chance to gather the remaining ones, perhaps we can learn what the mastermind's intentions are."

Elaphia handed over the Shocking Divine Soul Light to Li Ang, who pushed it back with his palm.

"It's a gift for you."

Douding quickly said, "Gift for me? Now is when you really lack high-tier equipment, what good does gifting this to me serve?"

Though she spoke assertively, her eyebrows shot up quickly at the start.

"Tier Nine powerhouse, Holy Knight Honor, and the friendship of a Knight Council Member are certainly more important than a single treasure artifact."

Elaphia's cheeks turned a shade of peach: "I said not to flatter me so extravagantly as if acting."

As she spoke, her gaze increasingly focused on the silver-blue treasure sword.

Hence, Li Ang pushed the sword forward once more.

Zoe murmured softly, "If you don't want it, give it to me; I still don't have four swords."

"Look, your team members also use swords, you should keep it for your family to use."

Elaphia said so, but she looked at the Shocking Divine Soul Light like a child gazing at toys in the display case.

Zoe said, "It's okay to give it to you, but you must repay Li Ang. As long as he's good, I don't mind."

"Cough hmm."

Elaphia cleared her throat, her demeanor suggesting a strangely competitive spirit.

"It's not only Tier Nine treasure artifact, but also possesses immense collectible value; I can't take it for free."

She gently brushed over the silver-blue sword sheath: "My armory's three treasure artifacts can be exchanged for it, so pick whichever you want."

Her Tier Nine treasure artifacts are: Oathbreaker's Vengeance Thornlance, Flame Demon Chain Blade Claw, and Dark Gold Demon Mask Warhammer, two of which were showcased during a tussle with the Thunderstorm Star Soul.

"That gun then."

Li Ang, due to his systematic equipment creation, plans to attend the Dome Furnace Association's gathering to complete the quest line for mastering the artifact manufacturing method. Given the system's bug level, he should not want for treasure artifacts eventually.

Moreover, with the current situation, the Star Flower Travel Corps seems unlikely to be a large, full-fledged group but rather has to take the elite small group route, making it crucial to enhance member equipment.

To equip them properly, he must surely master more techniques and acquire more treasure artifacts, so he's somewhat interested in visiting Ernest's studio. Plus, he isn't sure if that will be part of the quest line, as on the surface, the currently lost artifact manufacturing method relates only to Ernst.

Even if Elaphia already mentioned there's intrigue within the news, an adventure often means entering the tiger's lair to obtain the tiger cub; it makes him all the more eager to gather the Five Swords and see.

Giving Elaphia the Shocking Divine Soul Light was with the intention that during exploration, using the sword and the Divine Artisan Studio as lures, she could become a valuable ally.

Li Ang's not averse to the treasure artifact exchange.

Li Ang noticed the look Zoe gave him, a facial expression seeming to say, "I got this for you, praise me."

Elaphia tore open a dimensional crack, beckoning with a finger for a long black spear with forward spikes on the blade top to fly out from the armory.

The last time he saw Elaphia use this black spear, it seemed more apt for him now compared to the other two.

He's not a Blade Master, and currently doesn't have the strength to wield that large hammer, nor does the Blade Claw have suitable Professional Skills; trying to use them requires pursuing close combat professions.

Though having the system isn't a problem, this is the one he can use now.

Li Ang grasped the spear shaft to catch it.

[Oathbreaker's Vengeance Thornlance]

[This is a black long spear repeatedly possessed by renowned avengers. Its power of resentment allows it to unleash an ultimate blow, its silent blade cleanly taking life and sending it back into the cycle of reincarnation.]

[Tier: 9]

[Category: Spear · Treasure Artifacts]

[Energy Source: Resentment Curse Rollcloth]

[Attack Enhancement: The attack is guaranteed to hit on revenge]

[Equipment Skills: Life Absorption, Will to Evade Death, Eternal Reverse [Concept]]

[Formal Liberation: Counterattack Dark Blade]

Behind the gunpoint surrounded by reverse spikes, several black-purple fabric strips embroidered with dark gold runes hover around the spear shaft, their spirituality binding unknown power coming from the Magic Power Dimension.

Previously seeing this spear, Li Ang felt it was very ancient, its spiritual structure similar to a witch's technique, and after confrontation with a demon, the feeling grew stronger.

The energy within the spear body resembles the Imperial gauge he saw and the dark elemental power shown by Andasu.

Its attack enhancement is quite unique, not being simply added damage or any feature, but rather manipulating accuracy.

The last time Li Ang saw Elaphia use it, it was due to someone from the Order Sky Knight Corps getting injured, indicating the gun's "revenge" scope is quite broad.

Using it as a primary weapon isn't ideal as its counterattack effect shines best.
