Cheng Wei knelt on the ground. His head was buzzing, and countless stars twinkled in his vision.

Su Qingning's heart plummeted into what felt like an endless abyss. It's over, she thought, watching Cheng Wei's unbridled fury. Lin Xiao is done for. If the Cheng Family called the police, Lin Xiao would almost certainly be arrested. After all, he had assaulted someone. Su Qingning panicked. She was truly panicking, with no idea what to do.

Xue Jingdong felt a lustful heat rise within him, and his gaze turned incredibly fervent. He chuckled and said, "I was going to, but I was afraid I'd be disturbing you!"

"Listen to you. You're still treating me like a stranger!" Shao Mei'er said, feigning annoyance.
