He Ate a Divine Dragon

Chapter 386 Students

Xue Chongshan instantly erupted with rage. He watched Lin Xiao with uncontrollable anger, like a provoked beast.

"Damn it! If he won't listen to me, is he going to listen to a stinking beggar like you?"

"That's right!" Xue Chongshan laughed in fury. "You stinking beggar, that's f*cking hilarious! Who the hell do you think you are, telling Mr. Guo to listen to you?!"

"You don't believe me?"

"Do you really think I'd believe that?"

Lin Xiao shrugged.

"Good. In that case, I'll let you taste true despair." With that, Lin Xiao's gaze fell upon Guo Dingtian. "Go. Give him a resounding slap."

"Damn it, you stinking beggar! Are you out of your f*cking mind? Do you think—" Xue Chongshan roared, but he couldn't finish his sentence.

A crisp slapping sound echoed through the room, and the scene immediately fell deathly silent.

Guo Dingtian had just dealt Xue Chongshan a heavy-handed slap, sending him crashing to the floor.

Clutching his burning cheek, Xue Chongshan stared dumbfoundedly at Guo Dingtian.

It wasn't just him; Zhou Ding was stunned as well. The Xue Family security guards were utterly baffled.

What was happening? Wasn't Mr. Guo hired by the master to deal with this stinking beggar? Why was he attacking the master instead?

Bei Kuang wasn't surprised. The moment Zhou Ding had revealed Guo Dingtian's identity, he knew this would be the outcome.

Paying no mind to everyone's shock, Lin Xiao walked over to Xue Chongshan and looked down on him as if he were a dead dog.

Xue Chongshan's expression was one of pure shock, even greater than before. He still couldn't understand why Guo Dingtian had struck him.

"How did that feel?" Lin Xiao asked with a smirk.

Suppressing his searing pain and fury, Xue Chongshan struggled to his feet. He ignored Lin Xiao, fixing his gaze on Guo Dingtian instead. "Mr. Guo... why?"

Guo Dingtian glanced at Lin Xiao. He was about to bluntly reveal Lin Xiao's identity, but a single look from the man stopped him. A cold sweat instantly beaded on Guo Dingtian's brow, and he quickly shut his mouth.

The Dragon Lord's identity is far too noble. If I were to just blurt it out, who knows what kind of turmoil it would cause? Thankfully, the Dragon Lord reminded me in time. Otherwise, I would have caused a catastrophe.

It wasn't that Lin Xiao was forcing Guo Dingtian to keep it a secret. Rather, ninety percent of his cultivation base was currently inside Su Qingning's Dantian. If Guo Dingtian exposed his identity now, it would undoubtedly attract assassination attempts from countless top-tier experts, especially from the Ghost Medicine Sect.

To avoid such unnecessary complications, Lin Xiao had no choice but to keep Guo Dingtian quiet. To be clear, Lin Xiao wasn't a man who feared trouble; he simply didn't want to deal with it at this particular juncture.

Seeing Xue Chongshan's shocked, confused, and indignant expression as he stared at Guo Dingtian, Lin Xiao chuckled mockingly. "You want to know why? Prepare some food and drinks, and we can discuss it over a meal."

Xue Chongshan was naturally unwilling, but his considerable intellect told him that the day's events were far more complex than he had anticipated. Perhaps this stinking beggar has an extraordinary background. It's better to go along with him for now. I want to see just what kind of world-shattering answer he can give me.

The group entered the villa.

The Xue Family certainly lives up to its name as one of the top three families in Jinling City. What an estate. The villa alone occupied more than two acres of land, but the interior decoration was even more impressive. It was resplendent and magnificent, exuding an air of sheer extravagance.

"Get rid of all the irrelevant people," Lin Xiao said nonchalantly.

At Xue Chongshan's wave, dozens of Xue family members obediently left the living room. As they departed, each of them shot a resentful glare at Lin Xiao, who remained completely unfazed.

Zhou Ding hadn't moved.

"You too. Scram," Lin Xiao said disdainfully.

Zhou Ding roared, "You f*cking stinking beggar—"

Before he could finish, both Bei Kuang and Guo Dingtian fixed their gazes on him. Guo Dingtian's look was tolerable, merely a silent urging for him to leave. Bei Kuang's stare, however, was anything but gentle. It was as sharp as a dagger, plunging straight into Zhou Ding's heart.

Such a terrifying gaze! A violent shiver ran through Zhou Ding, and he almost collapsed to his knees in fear.

Only the four of them remained in the vast living room.

Xue Chongshan stared at Lin Xiao with an incredibly complex expression, as if he were studying an alien. He was intensely curious about Lin Xiao's true identity. His intellect told him this "stinking beggar" was no ordinary man. Otherwise, someone with Guo Dingtian's status and background would never obey his commands so readily.

Lin Xiao was well aware of Xue Chongshan's curiosity. After giving him an indifferent glance, he suddenly said, "Kneel."

"Boy, what did you say?" Xue Chongshan demanded coldly.

He had no intention of kneeling. He was the head of Jinling City's third-ranked family, a man of venerable status. Even if this stinking beggar had an impressive background, it wasn't enough to make him kneel so easily. Unless... unless he's the Dragon Lord. But that's impossible.

Xue Chongshan figured Lin Xiao must be a silk-panted young master from some powerful Shengjing family. That was the only explanation for why Guo Dingtian would listen to him, since Guo Dingtian himself hailed from a top-tier family in Shengjing.

"What? You refuse to kneel?" Lin Xiao's voice suddenly rose. Even a deaf man could have heard the anger in his tone, and Xue Chongshan was certainly not deaf.

But Xue Chongshan replied defiantly, "I will not!"

A chilling killing intent flashed in Bei Kuang's eyes, and he looked ready to act. But Lin Xiao shot him a glance, silently telling him to stand down. Bei Kuang immediately reined in his murderous aura.

Lin Xiao smiled. "You've got some backbone. Very good. I hope you can maintain that."

"Hmph. Boy, don't think I'm afraid of you just because you're from some big family in Shengjing. The only reason I haven't touched you today is out of respect for Mr. Guo. As for you? You're nothing!"

Lin Xiao found this amusing. "So, you think Guo Dingtian listens to me because I'm some silk-panted young master from a Shengjing family?"

"What other reason could there be?" Xue Chongshan retorted coldly.

Lin Xiao shrugged and looked at Guo Dingtian with a grin. "Guo Dingtian, why do you listen to me?"

"Because you're handsome!" Guo Dingtian blurted out, beaming at Lin Xiao.

Lin Xiao's smile widened. "Guo Dingtian, you certainly have a sharp eye. But there's no need for jokes now. You can tell him the truth."

At these words, Guo Dingtian dropped to his knees with a thud. Cupping his fist in his hand, he announced respectfully, "Student Guo Dingtian greets the Dragon Lord!"
