Amidst everyone's shock, he collapsed limply to the ground. His body twitched a few times before he fell completely silent, but his eyes remained wide open like copper bells—he was unable to rest in peace.

By the time the remaining five people regained their senses, Xiang Nai had already plunged her dagger into a second person's heart. Another brutal assassination. That man collapsed heavily, and just like the first, his body convulsed for a moment before he completely departed from this world.

It had to be said, Xiang Nai's cultivation was indeed impressive, and she was ruthless enough.

Xiang Nai looked at Lin Xiao, her heart pounding with fear. She truly couldn't understand. She had been so sure she'd seen Lin Xiao leave before meeting her subordinate. How could he possibly know about their meeting? What scared her even more was the suspicion that Lin Xiao might already know her true identity.

Seeing Xiang Nai's silence, Lin Xiao let out a cold chuckle. He bent down, squatting in front of her.

"Raise your head!" he commanded sharply.

With a pained expression, Xiang Nai lifted her head.

Just as she was about to speak, Lin Xiao's hand shot out like lightning and clamped over her mouth. As Xiang Nai's eyes filled with shock, he flicked a black pill into her mouth.

Once it was done, Lin Xiao flung her aside. Xiang Nai collapsed to the ground, her body trembling uncontrollably as she stared at him.

"Master, what have I done wrong to make you treat me this way?"

"What have you done wrong?" Lin Xiao retorted with a cold laugh. "Holy Maiden of the Amaterasu Association, you tell me what you've done wrong."

BOOM.

Xiang Nai felt as if she had been struck by lightning. Her face went deathly pale as she collapsed limply to the ground.
