Aster and Lily exchanged glances but the little girl was the first to smile, causing her big brother to smile in return before shifting his gaze back to the city.

However, Vivian suddenly noticed something and decided to show it to them as well.

"Oh, you two have to see this." She said softly and before they knew it, their visions were pulled closer into the city once again.

This time, Aster could see and hear the demons pleading and imploring their queen to grant them a certain request.

"Please, Your Majesty, let us offer tributes to your children!" A male demon suggested from the crowd.

"Yes, Your Majesty! Allow us to bring gifts for the young prince and princess!"

More voices followed, and every single one of them was filled with joy and excitement as their voices echoed through the city's streets.

Aster and Lily listened quietly to the demons cheering loudly and calling out to their queen. Although Aster couldn't help but wonder what exactly his mother had done in the past, to make so many demons respect and adore her a lot, and even to the point where they were willing to do something for her children, just to make their queen happy.

'Were demons normally this nice?'

'Or are they just like this towards their queen?' Aster wondered to himself.

'It doesn't look like they're faking it, but it still feels strange to think that demons could actually be this respectful and caring towards their queen.'

'Maybe demons are actually nice to each other but dangerous and untrustworthy towards other races.'

'Hmm, a part of me wants to believe this, but another part doesn't want to ignore the fact that there might be more to these demons than meets the eye. After all, it would be naive to assume that all demons in this world were nice.'

'So, for now, I just need to focus on the present.' Aster made up his mind as he watched the excited demons laughing and cheering throughout the streets.

Meanwhile, Vivian smiled as she watched her subjects celebrating beneath the floating citadel.

She gently wrapped her arms around Aster and Lily before pulling them close to her.

"Hmm, it feels so good to see everyone in the city wanting to give my two beautiful babies gifts and tributes."

"Are we really going to get those gifts?" Lily asked with stars basically sparkling in her eyes. Vivian giggled before replying.

"Probably, but that would mean that Mama will have to prepare a banquet for you two so that the demon lords and nobles from other kingdoms will bring you gifts as well."

"Are you really going to prepare a banquet just for us?" Aster asked, but Vivian planted a kiss on his cheeks before answering vaguely.

"Maybe, but that's not important right now. It's getting late, so it's time for bed, okay?"

"Do we really have to go to bed?" Lily asked with her cute puppy-dog eyes.

She wanted to keep watching the floating lanterns and the demons cheering down below, but Vivian wasn't going to get tricked by her daughter's cute little eyes.

Her mind was made up, and she wasn't going to change it so easily. "Nope, we're all heading to bed right now, so nice try, little lady."

"Please, Mama… pretty please." Lily blinked repeatedly. Her expression was so cute, it took a while for her mother to stick firmly to her decision.

"Nope, we're heading straight to bed. Mama can't wait to snuggle with her two little babies, especially after seeing how much everyone loves you two. But no one can ever love you as much as I do, and that's why I'm going to smoulder your faces with a thousand kisses."

"A thousand what?" Aster asked in disbelief but Vivian simply licked her lips in preparation for her barrage of kisses, causing Aster to take two steps back in retreat.

"No wait, Mom. The bed is right over there. We can just hop on the bed and cuddle ourselves to sleep, right? There's no need for a thousand kisses."

"Nope, Mama's mind is made up right now and nothing is going to stop me."

Lily smiled when she noticed that Aster was currently Vivian's target, so she giggled as she tried to escape into the next room, hoping that she would find a really good place to hide while her brother sacrificed himself to receive the thousand kisses for both of them, because there was no way she was going to survive such an amount of kisses.

'Hehehe… good bye brother. Thank you for being the best big brother in the world. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten, hehehe...' The little girl giggled even more as she tried to dash out of Vivian's bedroom, but to her surprise, her little arm was caught by the dragon queen, who had suddenly arrived behind her.

"Huh? But what about…" Lily turned toward her big brother, wondering what Vivian was doing holding onto her arm when she should be showering Aster with a thousand kisses right now.

But to her surprise, Lily saw Aster on the ground, breathless, while his face was already filled with hundreds of red lipstick marks.

"Eii!!" Lily shrieked in disbelief at how the dragon queen had quickly showered Aster with a thousand kisses in less than a minute.

"You're next, little lady. So buckle up buttercup." Vivian swiftly leaned closer and began pressing gentle kisses all over her little princess's cheeks, making the little girl giggle as she desperately tried to escape her mother's barrage of kisses.

"Maamaaa wait… that tickles..." The little girl struggled to talk amid her giggles, but Vivian wasn't planning to stop anytime soon.

In fact, she wasn't done yet, because she swiftly pulled Aster in for a second round of kisses, and the laughter of her two children filled up the room as Vivian expertly did her best to bond even more with her two little dragons.

After some time, all three dragons were now cuddled up and had fallen asleep together on Vivian's queen-sized bed.

However, in the middle of the night, Aster slowly stirred awake to see that both ladies were still asleep.

A smile graced his lips as he thought about how he had gotten used to accepting these two beautiful ladies as his new family and he could only imagine how fun and exciting their lives were going to be from that day forward.

But while he began to envision how his new life with both ladies would be in the future, a blue transparent screen suddenly appeared in front of him.
