Looking at the detailed information displayed in front of him, Aster couldn't help but have one simple thought.

'Seriously, just how overpowered am I going to be?'

Though he might have sounded unhappy, at the moment, he had a very silly smile on his face because he couldn't wait to see just how strong he would be in the future.

After having a taste of Hallie's intense magical training, Aster was determined to improve on every aspect of his new life in this world.

And now, he couldn't wait to learn more from his mother, Sara, Cara, Hallie, and even the captain of Vivian's jack-o'-lantern knights.

Bringing his attention back to the screen, Aster noticed that a lot of things had changed and also improved, probably due to his appraisal skill levelling up again.

However, that wasn't the only reason.

Due to his awakened core and spirit root, a couple of new attributes had been added to his status and some of his attributes had developed a deeper connection to them.

One major attribute that fell under the latter was his strength attribute.

Now, his strength attribute wasn't solely based on his physical strength or his ability to fight and lift heavy objects.

It had broadened into his mental strength and soul strength, hence why his strength attribute had increased significantly.

Additionally, two new attributes had been added to his stats.

The defense attribute primarily focused on his physical, mental, and magical defense, while the intelligence stat focused on his ability to comprehend the concept behind conjuring spells and everything else that was magic-related.

Bringing his gaze down, Aster noticed the magic spell tier and spirit root branch categories that had just been added to his status as well.

'Hmm, after learning my first set of tier one magic spells, I guess the system recorded those spells and added them to my status.'

'It seems that both spells are still at level one right now despite how hard I'd been training all day.'

'Well, I guess it makes sense since I'm not really good at casting both spells yet.'

'But I didn't expect the system to include the fire wall spell as well.'

The fire wall spell was the only tier one magical spell that he had been unable to cast during his training with Hallie.

'The system probably added it to the list because I had tried to cast it numerous times but couldn't.'

After several failed tries, Hallie had encouraged him by telling him not to be disheartened by his inability to do it yet because he had already accomplished something amazing by learning two tier-one spells on his first practice, and this was something even geniuses dreamt of achieving.

'I'm thinking that the spell requires a much higher amount of aura from me before I can cast it.'

'Moreover, whenever I try to conjure a fire wall, I feel extremely exhausted and drained.'

'Maybe this could be the reason why Mother wants me to start my stamina and Aura expansion training with Captain Ripper.'

'I wonder how that training is going to turn out.'

'Oh well, I'll see how it goes when the time comes.'

Deciding to focus on the present, Aster brought his attention to his spirit root branch category.

He hadn't obtained any ability related to his awakened fear branch yet because Vivian had advised him not to partake in any training with Sara for now.

He had just survived a severe and mentally exhausting challenge during his first trial for his spirit root.

So, engaging in any other training regarding his spiritual energy would definitely affect him mentally, and Vivian would never allow Aster to do anything reckless or that might put him in danger.

His safety was her top priority and that's what she cared about the most.

In other words, it was better for him to focus on other aspects of his growth before returning to his spirit root training.

Scanning through his stats, Aster noticed that the non-combat skill category had been separated from the life skill category. He assumed that it was probably due to his appraisal skill leveling up and he was definitely right about it.

'Hmm, come to think of it, I didn't even try viewing the Jackalope's status before trying to catch it.'

Due to all the excitement of awakening his core and his eagerness to awaken his spirit root as well, he had completely forgotten to check out the Jackalope's status the moment it had appeared before him and Sara.

*Sighs*

'I'll have to make sure such a thing doesn't happen again.' Aster made a mental note not to make the same mistake twice if he were to go hunting again in the wilderness.

Speaking of hunting, Aster had also obtained his very first life skill.

Although his hunting might have been a bit clumsy and weird, he was still glad that he had been able to capture the Jackalope on his own.

And so, satisfied with the changes in his status, Aster lowered his gaze and took a good, long look at his mother and sister's happiness level.

Both were still at level three, meaning that increasing them hadn't been easy and neither was it going to be easy for the young dragon prince.

Of course, he had expected something like this to happen, but he wasn't going to let that stop him from raising their happiness level even higher.

'Hmm, but I'm going to have to think of something really good if I want to increase their happiness level.'

'The last time it increased was because I allowed them to make me look pretty.'

'Though it was embarrassing, it was definitely worth it.'

'And I doubt that would work a second time so that means I need to come up with something even better if I want to make them very happy.' Aster uttered in his thoughts as he pondered what to do.

Since he had arrived in Evermore, making his mother and sister happy had been his primary goal and Aster wasn't going to let that change anytime soon.

Making them happy was all he cared about and he really wanted to keep it that way for the next century and even millennia, but Aster knew he had to focus on the present first.

And so, he pondered even more on what he could do that would really make Vivian and Lily happy.

But after a while, he decided to put a pause on his brainstorming.

'Oh well, I'll think of something later.'

'For now, it's getting late and I need to sleep because I have a lot of things that I need to do tomorrow.' Aster reminded himself as he waved the system screen away.

He yawned and rolled onto his side to find his mother sleeping peacefully in the middle of the bed with Lily curled up on her other side as the little princess held onto Vivian's arm like a cute little koala.

Aster smiled and nodded to himself once again.

These two beautiful ladies were now the most important people, or more precisely, they were now the most important demons in his life and Aster was prepared to do anything it took to make them happy, even if that meant bending the entire world to their happiness.

In other words, if the world were to ever stand between his family and their happiness, needless to say, no one would like how he would retaliate.

With this thought in mind, Aster snuggled closer to his mother's shoulder before falling asleep after he had mentally prepared himself for his first training session with Captain Ripper in the morning.
