A few minutes later, Aster stepped out of the bathroom and strolled into Vivian's bedroom to get dressed.

Few minutes later, he was wearing a new set of clothes but just before he could plop down on Vivian's huge queen-size bed, her bedroom door suddenly shot wide open with Vivian hurrying in to see her precious little prince already cleaned and dressed up.

"Oh, Astaroth." Vivian swiftly appeared in front of him and Aster replied back with a smile.

But before he could utter out any word he had in mind, Vivian had already wrapped her arms around him.

Then she lifted him up slightly off the floor in a tight and warm hug.

His face was pressed against her gown and soft chest but her sweet, familiar scent instantly filled him with a soothing sensation he hadn't known he was missing until she had hugged him.

This made Aster instinctively hugged her in return, causing Vivian to feel extremely happy and relieved to see her little dragon back in one piece.

"I've missed you so much dearest."

"I've missed you too." Since he had made up his mind to make both Vivian and Lily happy, Aster was prepared to do whatever it took to make this happen, and that's why he had easily uttered out what Vivian wanted to hear.

Hearing this, Vivian slowly pulled back to have a really good look at his face with a stunning smile on hers. "Oh really, so how much does my little warrior misses me?"

"Hmm, this much." Aster drew a huge, imaginary circle, indicating how much he had missed his beautiful mother and this made Vivian extremely happy.

As a dragon queen who had always wanted to experience what it would feel like to have children of her own, seeing Aster making this cute little gesture melted her heart in ways even she couldn't comprehend.

But nevertheless, Vivian really liked it and she wouldn't mind seeing Aster doing it over and over again.

In fact, she was so happy right now and she wanted to rain kisses all over his cute adorable face but thought against it, because she had noticed something very important about him.

"Oh, my little dragon. You look so exhausted. Was the training really that intense?" Vivian asked after noticing the tired look in his eyes but Aster brushed it off.

"Nah, the training was alright." Aster managed to puff out his chest as he tried to hide the ache he was currently feeling.

But of course, Vivian's ever-vigilant eyes had noticed this and she felt a little bit unhappy about it.

"That's it. Mommy is heading over to the garrison to have a few words with Ripper myself."

"It's okay mom. I'm fine. I mean it, and besides, I really enjoyed the training today. So please don't discourage them from doing what they did."

Noticing how Aster had admitted how he enjoyed his training today, Vivian realized that he must have easily bonded with Ripper and her legion of Pumpkin warriors, and Vivian couldn't help but feel happy as she slowly stroke his head with a warm smile on her face. "Alright dear. Mommy won't be heading over to the garrison because she doesn't want to make you feel sad."

"Thank you."

"You're welcome, sweetie." She cupped his cheeks and gently kissed his forehead. "Oh, that reminds me. Hallie told me of how great you were in training today."

"Nah, it was nothing but Captain Ripper and everyone else seemed to be impressed with how fast I was able to adapt to their intense training."

"Ufufufu~ As expected of my little one. Now, you've shown the knights what Mama had always known about you."

"And what's that?"

"That you're my talented and special little dragon, of course." Vivian giggled softly as she slowly brushed his cheek with her thumb. "But don't think that excuses you from resting properly tomorrow and the day after."

"Huh? But I still want to train tomorrow. In fact, I was thinking of training on my own after dinner....." Aster replied but was interrupted by his mother pulling him close again for a tight hug.

"No. Absolutely not. My little dragon isn't heading out for more training tomorrow after..."

"I'm fine. Really. You don't have to worry about me." Aster laughed softly as he assured her with a warm hug in return.

Vivian gently pulled back just enough to cup his face again.

"Oh, darling… worrying about you is my hobby. So let me do what I do best okay?"

"Alright, but I'm still training tomorrow."

Vivian noticed the determined look on his face and she nodded in understanding. "Alright, fine. my little warrior wins this round." Vivian kisses his forehead again before lifting his arms slowly to examine them.

"Oh dear, every single part of your body looks really sore."

"Yeah, and they feel heavy too."

"Come, let Mommy see what she can do to help."

The two slowly crawled into the bed with Vivian wrapping her arms around him as a warm, soothing feeling spreads from Vivian's body onto Aster's body.

The warm feeling spreads to every part of his body, soothing the ache he was feeling on every joint and Aster involuntarily released a sigh.

*Sighs* "This feels… really good…"

Vivian chuckled cutely and continued to stroke his hair with her free hand.

"Where's Lily?" Aster asked as his eyes slowly began to feel heavy.

As always, his mother's soothing and comforting scent had a way of making him feel completely relaxed and calm, and he could never get tired of this special feeling.

"Lily is currently having fun with her new presents. So, if you want to see her, just let me....." Vivian replied but paused mid-sentence when she noticed Aster had already fallen asleep and she simply smiled and continued to stroke his hair while humming happily.

"Sleep tight, my little dragon."

The next morning, Aster had swiftly made his way to the garrison once again, leaving Vivian and Lily all alone on the bed.

But Lily still had a lot of presents she was yet to unwrap so she swiftly returned to unwrapping the presents with Cara.

However, while Aster and Lily were busy being preoccupied with one thing or the other, Vivian decided it was her turn to be preoccupied with something else as well, and so she summoned Sara into her room.

Right now, the sun was at its peak and several rays of sunlight filtered into the room of the dragon queen.

But standing in front of Vivian's bedroom was Sara, who looked left, then right and left once again before opening and locking the door behind her.

"You're here." Vivian uttered out in a whispered voice as she watched Sara stepped into her room.

Before now, her mind had been preoccupied with what she and Aster had discussed last night, so she hadn't noticed Sara until the banshee maid entered and locked the door.

"Did you bring it?" Vivian asked excitedly.

"Yes, Your Majesty." Sara nodded cutely as she hovered close to Vivian before bringing out all the pictures she had taken of Aster and Lily since Vivian had given her the camera.

In front of them were several pictures scattered on the bed and both ladies giggled like cute little girls as they lay on their tummies with their legs swinging excitedly behind them.

Vivian grabbed the first photo and her smile widened even more when she recalled when Sara had taken this particular photo.

The picture was about when Vivian and Lily had dressed Aster as the most prettiest girl they had ever seen.

Sara took about four different pictures of Aster having different expressions ranging from shock to acceptance.

The first expression was a surprised and shocked look he had on his face when Aster realized what Vivian and Lily were about to do.

Then he turned around to run away with a terrified look on his face because he didn't want to see himself being dressed up as a girl.

But when Vivian and Lily managed to catch him and dress him up, his expression had turned to that of a sad, lonely kitten and Vivian found his expression cute and adorable.

However, seeing that he couldn't escape his mother and sister's makeover, Aster simply accepted his fate and he just allowed them to do whatever they wanted with him, resulting in him smiling when everyone around him were smiling as well.

"Ufufufu~ I'm keeping these pictures with me." Vivian said as she placed them next to her, before turning toward the next set of pictures.

This one was taken when Aster had tried to catch the Jackalope a few days ago, and Vivian chuckled softly when she noticed a picture of Aster tripping face-first into the bushes during the Jackalope hunt.

She also noticed how his legs were in the air and how his face looked like he was about to call his Mommy to help him.

Well, if Aster had done so, Vivian would have definitely appeared out of thin air to wrap her arms around her son before raining kisses all over his face.

"Ufufufu~ this one looks really good too." Vivian praised her maid and Sara's heart was filled with pride as she eagerly showed Vivian a new set of pictures.

This new set was about Lily, ranging from how cute she ate her meals like a chubby little hamster to how adorable she looked whenever her eyes shone like stars when staring at the items inside the presents given to her.

Sara also showed Vivian more pictures of Aster having his first training and some pictures were even taken during the time of their homecoming party as well.

Seeing all these, Vivian had a genuine smile on her face and the excited look she had on her face really showed how she was enjoying what she was seeing and doing right now.

Of course, Sara had noticed this and she couldn't help but smile warmly in return.

Ever since Aster and Lily had arrived at the castle, the dragon queen had been smiling a lot more than usual.

In fact, Vivian had been smiling every single day and her previous lackadaisical attitude was nowhere to be found.

For years, the dragon queen had been bored living in the castle as she carried out her duties as queen, but now that Aster and Lily had come into her life, Vivian's life had been filled with nothing but pure smiles and excitement.

And this was how Vivian and Sara spent the rest of the evening smiling, giggling and chatting about how cute Aster and Lily were, and how they couldn't wait to have more pictures in the future.

But while both ladies were busy having the best time of their lives, a certain blue skin demon princess was currently in a flying carriage, heading straight to the Dragon Queen's floating citadel.
