Tech Dominator Starts with Raising Kids

Chapter 121: So Reckless (Happy Chinese New Year's Eve to Everyone)

After a few more tries, Mo Jingchun gradually got the hang of it and started practicing driving in a straight line.

Hmm... it was basically just not turning the steering wheel and going back and forth on a fixed straight line.

At first, Candy, who was sitting in the back row, was quite interested, but after half an hour, the little one lost all interest in Mo Jingchun learning to drive.

Well, the feeling of not being able to ride a shaking car, losing interest is natural, isn't it?

Being a super VIP registrant also had the benefit of practicing for a whole day at a time, unlike the regular classes, where one car would have four people, and each person would only have one hour per class period.

They would switch every half hour, with four people taking turns using the same car for practice.

On the open training ground, there was nothing else besides some green plants.

Mo Jingchun drove the car, watched the rear mirror, and only after he made sure there was no one behind did he release the brake and slowly reverse.

Candy, in the back seat, yawned and in a childish voice asked Mo Jingchun, "Bro~ when are we going home~?"

"Brother will practice a bit more, then we'll go back to cook, okay?"

Candy lay back in the seat, pouting, saying, "Alright then."

After practicing for about another half hour, Mo Jingchun got the coach to drive him to the school gate.

In the afternoon, when Mo Jingchun returned to the driving school, he directly approached the coach to practice the next project — reversing into a parking spot.

Bored Candy, played in the car for less than an hour before falling asleep on the back seat. Seeing this, Mo Jingchun asked the coach to turn on the air conditioner.

Candy woke up at 4:20, rubbed her eyes, looked around, and upon seeing Mo Jingchun in front, did not cry or make a fuss.

The little one sat quietly for a while before taking out a snack from her small cross-body bag and eating it.

At this moment, when Candy was eating her snack, she looked out the car window and suddenly widened her bright eyes.

Not only Candy, but Mo Jingchun also heard the noise and quickly hit the brakes, and he and the coach looked in shock at the overturned training car.

The coach was stunned for only a second, then immediately opened the door and rushed towards the overturned car.

In a short while, more than a dozen coaches gathered around the overturned car, pulling out the students who were still in shock.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief when they saw all four students were okay.

"Bro~ who is that person, why are they so clumsy?"

"But they're really skilled at driving; they ended up like a turtle, with all four legs up." As Candy spoke, she made gestures that were hard to understand.

Mo Jingchun couldn't help but twitch at the corners of his mouth when he heard Candy saying "so clumsy."

This little one must have learned this new term from some cartoon, still knowing the phrase "so clumsy."

But Mo Jingchun actually thought Candy was spot on this time. That student was indeed very clumsy. Practicing reversing into a parking spot and managing to overturn the car, isn't that clumsy?

The scariest part was that the driver just now wasn't a female driver but a male driver. Judging by his appearance, he was also a university student in Jing City, like Mo Jingchun.

After parking the car, Mo Jingchun carrying Candy also ran over to the accident car to watch the spectacle.

As soon as he arrived, Mo Jingchun heard the coaches comforting the four terrified students.

"It's okay, just be more careful next time. You don't have to pay for the damaged car. As long as no one is hurt, it's fine."

The student who was driving seemed okay, just nodding continuously in response to the coaches' consolation.

However, the other three students in the group with the driver — two women and one man — refused to team up with the male driver again.

Understandably so, they spent money to learn driving, but didn't want to risk their lives before even getting their driver's licenses.

After the four students' coach took them inside, the crowd gradually dispersed, leaving the overturned training car to wait for a tow truck.

Coach Lin Xiaohua looked at Mo Jingchun, who was carrying a small child and had also come to watch the commotion, and explained helplessly:

"Actually, the probability of such an incident happening is extremely low. I've been at this driving school for over three years, and I've only encountered it twice."

Mo Jingchun grinned and said, "No worries, I just think it's quite impressive."

Hearing this, Coach Lin Xiaohua got even more animated and started talking about the last incident.

"You wouldn't believe it, this training ground wasn't always so open. Two years ago, there was even a wall in the middle of it."

Mo Jingchun asked in surprise, "Did a student crash into it and make a hole?"

Coach Lin Xiaohua chuckled wryly and said, "If it was just a hole, that'd be great. We could just patch it up."

"That guy, practically a demolition team by himself; I even suspected for a while he was a spy sent by the enemy."

"He was also reversing into a parking spot, but he managed to knock down an entire wall. After the company leaders saw it, they simply decided to remove the remaining few bricks, and that's how we ended up with this open training field."

Lin Xiaohua pointed to the wrist-thin plants, saying, "Originally, there were big trees planted in these spots to provide students some shade in the summer."

"After that incident, for safety's sake, they replaced them all with saplings."

Mo Jingchun was left speechless, completely stunned by the tales.

So every tree, plant, and brick in this driving school had its own story.

When Coach Lin Xiaohua sent Mo Jingchun and Candy back to the school gate, Mo Jingchun couldn't help but chuckle every time he thought about the overturned training car.

Unfortunately, he had no one to share it with, or else he would have already filmed it like the other students.

Walking down the campus road, Candy looked at Mo Jingchun with a confused face, not understanding why he was chuckling for no reason.

"Bro~ what are you laughing about?"

"Huh? Did I laugh? You must have seen wrong, brother didn't laugh just now." Mo Jingchun said, and then burst into laughter again.

For a moment, Mo Jingchun completely baffled Candy.

After finishing both breakfast and dinner, Mo Jingchun took Candy to the company. It just so happened that employees had more than half an hour before their shift ended. This was enough time for Mo Jingchun to check on the progress of the twenty technical developers over the past few days.

In the large office, Mo Jingchun looked at the code on the wall projector, and the whole office was silent except for the sound of breathing and Candy munching on snacks.

Just then, Mo Jingchun raised an eyebrow and suddenly said, "Who wrote the loop function on line one thousand two hundred and three? Didn't they realize if the parameter passed as i=0, it would cause an infinite loop? Such a basic error shouldn't be made."

Mo Jingchun turned to look at everyone, saying gravely, "Let me reiterate, all submitted code must be tested before merging. It is absolutely unacceptable to submit code just to rush progress."

"Have you considered if this were product-release code, it wouldn't just be a basic error, it would result in a major incident."

"If it involved monetary transactions, the consequences would be unimaginable."
